i've been watching buggs and the gang since back on the DOJ server with polecat, and i'm in agreement on this. it seems to be an overreaction on their part. i felt the Aimbot accusation was BS from the jump. buggs and ryan have often commented on the fact Elle is just a crack shot, and it's never seemed to have any "stank" on it, so it wasn't coming from a place of suspicion or resentment. hell i think like a week before all this, Ryan wanted to try something sketch with the LEOs and buggs asked which units and then said, "yeah, NO. Elle's a crack shot, if you do it, she WILL shoot you." and they both laughed it off. i hate making assumptions on generally chill people, but it feels like this is all nothingburgers used to justify her removal, and i'm sort of thinking the real issue here is that her actions may have derailed plans of the "big boys" one time too many. but if that were the case, discharging her from the police force, or temp banning her from just the recording server would have been enough to both solve the issue, send a message and correct the behavior(whatever it was). even giving NO benefit of the doubt here, permabanning from OCRP in total just seems like overkill.

I feel bad for ella because all she tried to do was clear her name for false allegations of cheating, and then was trying to understand why she got banned. She never once said, "i want back on the server," or send any hate to anyone. She tried to do this privately, and it didn't work, so now she asked her questions publically. She is getting roped in with a lot of what uncle tt said just because they were both banned, which sucks because i do have complaints about his video, but all of Ella's stuff has been pretty cordial. First of all I have always thought of Jeff specifically as a pretty good dude who saw things as black and white, if it's a rule it's the rule and breaking them has a consequence which was a big reason he started OCRP as to keep it the same for everyone across the board, so this isn't an attack on anyone of either side of this issue when I say it. Her side seems to be more along the lines of being in the cross fire of the real drama happening. It seems to me that this came from some complaints and speculation, some staff was digging through her videos for evidence, with the several reasons they voted her to be banned (feels like a bit prematurely, but it also looks like they can use "not a good fit" as a reason alone so I will leave that alone), they had a bad policy of not disclosing reasons which they acknowledged and changed and then the moment TT said her name in his video, they felt like they had to include her issue to get ahead of the problem it appears. The truth of it is honestly in other people's videos (not mentioning names but she included a clip that was mentioned on the other persons side) and not hers when it comes to the reason she was removed. Her one shot kills have pissed people off and it was quite obvious that she had a target on her back for some time. She is clearly wishing to clear her name I get it and even in the case of TT people are always going to have feelings about how things go down when it comes to their side of things. They should never have had a policy that was so secretive which could have avoided this but now that this has been rectified it shouldn't be a future problem, but in her case specifically it clearly was not a removal because of actual broken rules/policy, this removal was because people didn't like the fact she had abilities to stop scenes from playing out the way they had hoped because she domed them, which made her an enemy to their content.
I respect Jeff a lot for this post, but I just think they need to straighten themselves out, it doesn’t make sense why they didn’t just remove LEO tags instead of it building it all up. And I saw a post from Alyssa (Lifelyss) on Uncle TT’s video stating that she was banned twice and one of the times she has been yelled and belittled at by Buggs in a voice channel, and god I hope that not true but people aren’t always what they seem so if that’s true. That’s absolutely disgusting. But I prefer to stick to the facts from evidence and not believe into potential rumours but I am shocked by all of this.
As soon as Jeff said they had 800 members I could see a lot of the problem. I didn't realize OCRP had gotten that big. It looks to me like they're speedrunning through all the problems of a large MMO guild, and I've seen those problems from both sides as a leader and a nobody.
I appreciate Jeff and Ryan's post, but a couple of things grind my gears still. 1) it feels in Ellas case it isn't clear by the admins the real reason for the ban, he initially put cheating down, then removed it and just is left with this unusual list of minor issues that could easily be sorted out with dialogue, warning or removal from LEO. I feel they are being disingenuous of the real reason for the ban, it must have been the cheating and now they're trying to save face. 2) it is not correct for admin team to use ANY evidence from recording server as reason for a ban. It is quite clear recording server has no rules, unless it really is a "rules for thee, not for me" situation, which if so is really really bad. Otherwise if we agree the rules are lax on recording server then clips of Ella killing the player and ending their scene shouldnt be valid for a ban on the main server. Also i find it hard to believe 5 admins came on and a majority all agreed Ella should be banned for these reasons. Again i feel that is disingenuous and the true reason for the vote was hacking, and these other reasons were just contributory. If 5 people really agreed to straight ban for these reasons alone, then OCRP has an admin issue. Ban should be reviewed and rolled back with dialogue used instead, given a warning or threat of removing Leo tags if issues continued. For a server were admins regularly talk about mental wellbeing and how the admins are all just human, I think they seem to forget the players are also human and make mistakes. No warning permanent ban is not good for someone's mental health when these players spend so many hours here with friends who are like family. They should acknowledge a ban like this has a real impact on a person more so than another game like a shooter where you can join any other server.. tnis is more of a community. Bans should be a last resort after dialogue. Admins need to treat issues as "was there malice/intent or did the human behind the character make an innocent mistake". If admins don't consider that before voting to ban then there's issues with how the server is managed imo
Some valid points but as to second point the recording server was set up for specifically Buggs and Ryan to do a certain type of content and the members know this so yes, while lapse, there are rules in the recording server.
I don't think the admins see themselves as bad admins, but I think OCRP has an issue with communication. I've tried to be in a community and getting kicked out (irl stuff though), and finding out that I had been talked about, but not to. It sucks, and those communities are not valuing their participants enough. One thing these two communities have in common is that there is no lack of people that wants to join, and I think that may change how they view people. You can just kick them, more will join.
I think it was a business decision. From their POV, you were "buzzkilling" too many RP scenes, and your personality just wasn't working for those in charge. Unfortunate they had to go about it like this.
Just seems like they are trying to act like your banned was justified and are making excuses. None of the complaints in jeffs post deserved a server ban. Maybe a Leo ban, but you could have stayed as a civ
Well to not have a system in place where someone is just called into the office at first and say lets have a talk speaks for itself. I mean 1 strike and your out, that's just another way of saying everyone is expendable but me and my homeboys. As a leader you should always want a goal of a team moving forward not a toxic one strike oppressive hell hole.
Sad to see the admins refuse to admit they made a mistake and instead of walking back their decision they simply make a community post and say they'll do better. You were always great in every scene, hope you find a better community that cares more about their community than saving face.
The fact that Buggs even made a post is making this all really weird. Buggs NEVER addresses controversy and never tells the fans about it. Hell, we still don't know why they ditched polecat
the polecat issue has been discussed. buggs and him apparently drifted apart IRL/OOC, Jeff said Polecat was sort of controlling and had a short fuse that was causing friction and both he and buggs basically just opted out of the toxicity and decided to do their own thing. Jeff was far more polite in his phrasing, but that's a blunt summary.
Patrolling out of jurisdiction... while you were highway patrol? Thought they'd said OCRP is modeled after Florida, I Googled "florida highway patrol jurisdiction" and the featured snippet said: "FHP has statewide jurisdiction, but shortfalls in FHP staffing sometimes lead to sheriff's offices and city police forces picking up more work, straining resources." So, super inside baseball if they're even modeling the shortfall in FHP staffing & demanding you stick to highways, which technically should include 68 even though it's not a divided highway. Conversely, that would mean BCSO would be treading on SAHP jurisdiction if they were patrolling or responding to calls for service there (unless mutual aid). Unjustified shooting, huh? Was Jeff on a civilian oversight board IRL before Florida House Bill 601 shifted them to chief law enforcement officer-appointed? I've been watching Police Activity videos for quite a while now, and before that, the ones released directly by LE agencies. Going off your compilation, I believe you wouldn't lose your badge IRL or anything (and shouldn't in RP either), especially if Tennessee v Garner (a police officer may use deadly force to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect only if the officer has a good-faith belief that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others) is respected in OCRP. I think the GTA weapon logic distorts use of force. Sure, you can miss tasers both places, but when you get a taser hit in GTA, it doesn't fail because of clothing or whatever reason that it does IRL (which leads to having to escalate to deadly force anyway when just pointing a pistol or rifle at someone would usually achieve compliance if you skip charging up their aggro battery with the taser). So tasers can be misconstrued as a panacea on the use of force continuum in RP if an admin wants to claim you're too pew-pew happy. And the player health is a distortion too. If players are being legit & not having armor on in the setting when they're shirtless or lightly clothed, that's good, but they also need to watch that their health is always at 100% if they're 22ing getting hit by locals or whatever away from their scenes. Then 1-shots are less likely, just as IRL people can keep going for awhile with multiple holes in them in many if not most cases. Had a shower thought: what if all GTA V (& soon VI) RP communities had access to an independent judiciary composed of people who only ever watch RP (like me)? Each community's rules could say the judiciary has original or appellate jurisdiction over bans. The judiciary would review the community rules & indictment from the server admins' appointed prosecutor, defense rebuttal, with screen recordings/shot evidence from both sides, and then host trials on a live stream either available to the public or just the community members. If this went well, RP communities might be proud to advertise this with a seal of approval, & RPers looking for communities would probably gravitate towards membership in same, over those with admins who prefer to act arbitrarily & capriciously (whether they'll admit it or not).
Buggs said in his community post that going forward they will give reasons why they r removed. Ryan said he saw all the criticizing comments abt his rule breaking n bad attitude and he said he did the rule breaking w buggs in the RECORDING SERVER for their content. The attitude is his deteriorating mental health from running OCRP. I respect all 3 of them for making these posts and sharing their views on the situation.
The recording server is such a dumb idea... If you need to create a whole separate server just so you can relax/break the rules, maybe those rules should be modified.

There are people in OCRP that are LEO restricted that have never once been LEO. You can lose LEO tags even for doing jank shit as a civ. As far as I know there is nothing that says if you break a rule as an LEO that only your LEO tags are at stake.

If you look at Buggs or Ryan's view on that motorcycle uzi / rocket launcher video at the end, Ryan screams very loud in TS with Buggs. He got pissed off that he couldn't get Buggs to escape after hosing down 2 other cops, and your dead-eye shot got him. TOTALLY justified self-defense of yourself and fellow LEO's.

But, like, what do you expect from that? Just mow down every cop on scene so Buggs can get away, still in cuffs? Is that not “cheap” content that they themselves would have a problem with if they were on the receiving end? They’re always talking about how they like to let the cops have a win every now and then, but it does kinda feel like Ryan was more upset about the fact that the cops got a win. And Buggs was like “I guess there’s a difference between a bad shot and a good shot,” clearly taking Ella’s side in the fact that Ryan just pulled the uzi and fired 20 shots into the one cops belly, then finally aimed for the head and got the kill, then Ella “domed” him, from behind, as he was riding away. And again, Buggs pointed that out, that he was focused on shooting at ONE cop, while the rest were standing right there, already taking aim before he was even pulling away. Ryan said “Yeah, that’s true, but…” and still had to try and minimize the fact that Ella got a good shot on him.

I've gotten this feeling over the years that they treat other civs like extras in their own personal movies. When they do stuff with other civs tbey don't speak to them at all.
I'd agree with this, in recent videos they've started mentioning other's by name but in the past it was almost as if they didn't know any of the other players and just called them "civs" without any shout outs to people who made their videos what they are - entertaining.
@@Matt43 I didn't even know other civs had channels because they never say anything, not even a link in the description. Wasn't until the naming system changed that I realized they were channel names.

I'm sorry, but I highly disagree with you. I understand it may suck for Ella and others that have been banned, but Buggs, Ryan, and even Jeff make good content. Maybe once the sir is clear, Ella and them can speak on this, maybe come to a resolution. I have liked watching Ella's OCRP videos as much as I have liked watching the others. I was a fan of Buggs before the others, and regardless, I will continue to watch his content.
as you mentioned yourself, jeff's post was at least somewhat cordial. i'm still really surprised at buggs his post though, his reaction was very weird and hostile. as someone who's just a viewer, i'm kinda glad this at least showed buggs his real personality. i really don't wanna be watching someone who reacts like that when the situation gets "real".
Buggs was super pissy out of the 3, like super super pissy. Some how to smaller youtubers are weaponizing their viewers by making videos like this where they gave an update and also in Ella's case, felt her ban reasoning was weird before Jeff made a post as to why, which like Ella said and others did, that just take LEO tags away and half of this is resolved earlier if it was that much of an issue.
Yeah... Read all three messages and my respect for Jeff and Ryan is somewhat restored: I still think the whole thing could have been handled better, especially communication (with the removed members, not the public), and I have mixed feelings about a streamer wanting to communicate what happened, to their viewers, as "drama," but whatever... That Buggs message, however, yikes... Jeff - "Hey guys, there's been a lot of talk online, and I want to clear the air..." Ryan - "Hey guys... Seen a lot of criticism about myself, and just want to let you know I've been struggling, and I'm trying my best..." Buggs - "Listen here, you little shits..."

I feel like... It's a freak'n game server. You're not handling nuclear materials or something. Somebody getting a ban with zero explanation, it should be ridiculously obvious why it happened. Nobody should have to be sitting there (player or viewer) scratching their head, trying to figure out what they did wrong. This turned really ugly and I think it really spoiled the server vibe, probably forever. Even as late as yesterday, they could have put it to rest by just calling it a draw... Admit there were mistakes on both sides and just offer to lift the ban. Everybody moves on and it's over. But instead they just doubled down and had everybody dog pile you guys. But yeah, nothing left to do at this point.
As someone who’s been admin in a lot of things (Facebook pages, clans/alliances in mobile games, discord servers, Minecraft servers etc) lifting a ban when you had cause sets a very bad precedent. Not only does it allow others who are banned to think “if I just spam them enough I’ll get back in” but it also can just sour the entire thing. The person who was banned knows they’re on thin ice and brings a downer to everything, and not even mentioning it allows them to poach your members (not saying Ella would do this but I’m just speaking generally). If you ban someone for breaking the rules, no matter how slight they may seem, making a decision should be the end of it. If they’re warned then so be it, but if they’re banned then you need to stick by that to preserve your community. I do however agree that being banned without a reason given is BS but they’ve changed that policy. I was always very clear about what they did, when they did it, how I found out, and how what they did was harmful, along with any potential recourse they may have (reapply in 6 months, pay back whatever was lost, demotion, “this is your absolute final warning”, or whatever the case may be. Yes, it’s just a game, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that people are being hurt in one way or another. And with the content on OCRP being monetizable (I think that’s a word), that brings a whole other factor into the equation that needs to be considered. I only had to deal with that on the mobile game alliances since some people spent a lot of money on those and I treated those much more seriously than I did on my Facebook page for example which was a stupid meme page.
@@Fetidaf I don't think anybody was hurt or demonetized, because somebody didn't stay in their jurisdiction. lol I've run stuff as well. Internet orgs with thousands of people going back to the 90s, and also jobs where I had to manage 50 or more people at a time. In all that time I only had to fire a handful of people and ban a handful of people. I could have done WAY more. But I didn't have to, because I busted my ass to avoid it. I did everything I could to get the person to correct their issues. I one time screwed up and realized a mistake was made. I brought the person back, and explained why to everybody. If anything, it was a positive, not a negative. People appreciate honesty and integrity.
Goes the other way too. You got banned, fair or not, clear or not - move on. There's countless servers, or make your own with your own rules. Absolutely no need to stir the pot

And how do you figure that stealing scenes isn’t hurting someone else’s content? It sounds like they were warned many times for the things they were doing wrong and continued to break the rules. Would you allow an employee to do that? I sure as hell hope not. Allowing someone to break the rules is the worst possible thing to do, one that starts you may as well just shut up the shop cause it’ll happen sooner rather than later anyway.
I get why TT got banned. Like it or not aware of the rules or not, He broke the poaching rule. That ban makes sense. Yours feels less justified, but I feel a lot of this could have been avoided by just simply communicating. People are always gonna disagree with any sort of ban. I know this from experience. But if you can communicate and explain, this what you did, this is why you're banned. It clears up so much stuff and just eliminates the speculation that leads to drama. I dont blame the Admin team, I dont blame Ella, I blame stupid Policy for all of this. More communication was needed.

I did watch TT's video. It doesn't sound like he was poaching. Sounds like he wanted his friends to play with him on his private server with him, and his friends happened to be in OCRP. Maybe it sounded like poaching to the admins of OCRP. But I can't really say since I don't know the full story of either side.
@@TheWorkingAussie To me, it seems like if the recording server were available to everyone (like Ryan has said will be the way of the future) I don't think the TT issue would have even happened? But doing what he did could take away from Buggs and Ryan's playthings they felt threatened instead of trying to come up with a solution. All the drama had to happen first before it was considered. Also a sign of a dictatorship, won't change the rules until leaks happen that shine a potentially bad light and then the change happens. Seems kinda toxic!
I dont watch you for long, but for the time i do i really enjoy it. You are a nice Person and don´t deserve such an useless Situation. I can understand that the admins need to take action when rules are getting broken, but not like this. I play RP myself and if i get doomed by the Police or Crimes i accept it cause i am a adult and its just a game. (and also there is always someone better) Its just sad it had to come to this, without really a talk. They could just have told you to try and miss some shots if they are so angry about the fact that you can hit people. I think the OCRP ban system is overall very good, the one strike policy seems fairly lenient towards genuine mistakes and they don't have out bans easily. However I think you should have just been demoted to Civs instead.
Honestly seeing everyone own up to the mistakes is very respectful. Everyone all around dropped the ball. But change is the important thing. No matter what kind of change, having change is important. Having the policies change for future problems is hopeful. Having Ryan own up for having a bad time on stream due to copycats, having Jeff, Bugs and Kim speak up and all admit that things were done wrong, was so respectful in so many forms. We all take this as a learning experience, be respectful to all parties (you can still like Ella, and Jeff/Ryan/Buggs/Kim. But don't attack any party, please? Let's just all love for the RP, not the server. Anytime something like this happens there's person A's side, Person B's side, and the truth (not saying anyone is lying) it's up to us to make our own decision. Much love Ella
seems like a bunch of accusations were thrown just to see which of them might stick. interestingly enough, the cheating allegations got dropped off. for a decision that was supposedly finalized over a month ago or so, it kinda looks suspicious. not to mention one of the admins claimed that this whole drama was a smear campaign against them by the two banned members. way to be over dramatic on their side they probably won't admit this, but i think it's probably because you ended their scene too quickly and they don't like that. hence why you got booted out. they won't say that was the reason because that would have made them look bad and very selfish, and the recording server itself is really buggs and ryans' server. everybody else are just participants, or tools to make them look good in their recordings
Hey Ella, Like I told to Uncle TT I am very sorry this happened to you. It's funny that Jeff commented in that "Document" saying OCRP is not a Ban Happy Community but most to all of those reasons leading to a Ban of you or other members is the exact definition of Power Hungry | Ban Happy. In 1 of those scenes you shared w/you shooting Ryan it was justified he shot y'all LEO's. If that happened in RL, a LEO or LEO's wouldn't just watch the operator/driver drive away which would lead to the operator/driver get away. It's gonna be a matter of time until more OCRP Members either get banned or decide to leave because what feels like Power Hungry | Ban Happy Staff/Admins.
All of this is really difficult to judge as someone from the outside, but it is a pity. I love OCRP content (from you Jeff, Buggs and Ryan) and it has been a source of joy and distraction from difficult times, whenever I needed it. And I really think you added a lot to that and have become one of my favorite content creators. I also commented this on Jeff's post: it seems to me the reasons for the ban are very minor and something that could be addressed and resolved between reasonable people, which everybody involved seems to be (again, just the opinion from someone on the outside looking in). Just seems a bit harsh. Anyway, I hope you are doing good and I will be sure to stick around if and when you do other stuff on the channel now.
The fact that Jeff had to make a post because of all the backlash goes to show you shouldn't have been removed. I always thought it was a running joke that hwy was never on the hwy. Everyone knew you was a good shoot. Even Buggs and Ryan knew if you was on scene they would get shot. They loved it. It's definitely not the same without you.

Well they do own the server, it's not like it's a publicly owned and run service. It's a privately owned server which has a white list for invited people. It would make less sense to have random people the owners didn't know, or didn't like or get along with running it along side the them...

I expect grown men in their 30s/40s to have a better sense of fairness and respect towards community members than treating them like children. It is disappointing that they removed you from the community you and boom are my favorite LEO. It does kill the scene slightly with you being such a good shot but it also makes it more thrilling to watch if they do get one up on you like the taco truck getaway. Either way you were an entertaining addition to 99% of the scenes you were on and you will be missed.

I had said to my partner when we started watching OCRP that I was getting a, "Group of little boys playing hot wheels with each other when one of them loses their shit over someone 'not playing right' aka not playing the way I want them to" vibes. All of this just makes me feel like I was right. The way they took two days to get together to get their stories straight and then still came out with pretty crap statements. I recently joined OCRP and was not even in the FiveM server didn’t get a member tag yet so I can join the fivem server just had access to the discord and 24 hours later was greeted with a straight up removal from OCRP discord didn’t get a answer until I message a bunch of people and than they said it’s because I used the fag word in my stream which was a year ago. This wasn’t directed to any OCRP members nothing didn’t even know this was said in this video. Could of said hey you know you said this maybe trim this out or delete this video or something along the lines but nope went to check discord like I said and was removed and my application was change from accepted to denied I get they can remove people all they want but to not give somebody a chance. And yeah never even see if he’s a good role player or not. And than 10 minutes later the admin who dm me deleted the message which I still have I screenshotted it. OCRP is up to something shady and they need help. They say there not banned happy but they either kick / banned / remove me from the discord without reason / warning e.t.c. Until like 30 minutes later and again that was because I was messaging a lot of people.
I feel sorry to UncleTT but I do think his ban was fair, strict but fair. Even as strict as they are, i'm still so confused on why you got banned. The only thing that would make sense is them hardcore speculating that your using aimbot, and being so confident in that speculation with such poor evidence just feels a bit.. off 🤔I can't say that I think they are terrible people or anything, but it does feels like a mistake on their end. or an over reaction at least. when ryan opened fire, he was being a jerk, and complained right off, that he got shot. He has questioned getting shot several times insinuating immediately that your cheating, then he made the gender remark, which buggs immediately apologized for ryan, being an idiot. Good luck, you deserve better.
Just wanted to throw it out there that you don't need OCRP to be a badass, you're already awesome the way you are and you made buggs' videos that much better for me if i have to be honest, the video with the ridiculously fast bike and mopeds in particular. Please just always remember that even if you are outcasted from that community, there is always other doors and that community you built up yourself that'll be here for you. It must be tough to leave a place you cared about so deeply. I really hope you find as much joy in MBIRP as you did before. We’ll be here cheering you on, and while I'm not sure if a return to OCRP is possible, ngl, I still hope to see you back there someday.
If I were to help answer these questions, I would say that those videos are probably the exact examples the admins used to make the decision. I agree mistakes happen, but it seems like it was enough mistakes to make their decision. Their goal is to make content that uplifts people. Content that can be as fun and entertaining as possible. If I were to guess, they just wanted to ensure this quality and probably think that you would make a great content creator in a different GTA RP server but might not be the most compatible with the vision they have for OCRP. They are the admins and I dont think they will be reversing the decision, especially now. I agree in that I hope you dont give up on other GTA rp communitites. As many of the members have said, you are actually fun to watch and play with.
I dont get the selfdispatching reason. The only time i saw you do it was on the "guac" selling where you got to the scene, but i get it was due to the nature of the call. They should have dedicated 911 operators to avoid it as you will rush to a scene and maybe forget to call it. So yeah bad decision. And those other shooting were justified as an officer will deploy lethal when lethal is required. And i enjoy both of y'all. Sad to see you get banned but it was a decision not the best one but a decision in the end.
I don't think you're gonna get anymore closure unfortunately. It's good to stand up for yourself and speak out on what you believe in but you got some reasoning, some good statements and OCRP administration chnaged one of their rules for i think the better, so I'd try to find some... comfort(?) In that? It never felt to me like you were going on a crusade against OCRP or anyone, unfortunately some people deify youtubers and take things personally where they shouldn't, i don't think any of that is your fault.

Im glad you got some clarity about the reasons for your removal, as you proved that you wasn't using aimbot. And seems Jeff did acknowledge that by not putting it in his post, not that you should of had to prove it I might add because you aren't a cheat. I think the other stuff was a bit petty myself and should of been handled better, but at least this has bought about change in OCRP that was clearly needed for a long time. Do feel disappointed in certain people from that community, they've shown their true colours and I won't be giving those people my time from now on. Wish you all the best in whatever you choose to do going forward, hopefully you can get to enjoy gaming or RP elsewhere if you want to as this experience shouldn't put you off.

iv been watching Jeff, Buggs and Ryan and love there rp but there has been may times iv seen them run in cuffs and 1 tap or shot people they shouldn't have. Mistakes can be made and also I understand there content creators so they want to run in cuffs to keep it going or something of that nature. But I think removing you from the server was a bit dramatic for the little rules you broke its not like you do it in ever scenario and it prolly could of been resolved just with a talk or maybe some little form of punishment. I don't think your rp disrupted or made the game less fun I actually enjoyed your leo I actually didn't know you had a RUclips channel tell all this started coming out and wondered what happened to you. you will be missed by the community and viewers.

i've been watching buggs and the gang since back on the DOJ server with polecat, and i'm in agreement on this. it seems to be an overreaction on their part.
i felt the Aimbot accusation was BS from the jump. buggs and ryan have often commented on the fact Elle is just a crack shot, and it's never seemed to have any "stank" on it, so it wasn't coming from a place of suspicion or resentment. hell i think like a week before all this, Ryan wanted to try something sketch with the LEOs and buggs asked which units and then said, "yeah, NO. Elle's a crack shot, if you do it, she WILL shoot you." and they both laughed it off.
i hate making assumptions on generally chill people, but it feels like this is all nothingburgers used to justify her removal, and i'm sort of thinking the real issue here is that her actions may have derailed plans of the "big boys" one time too many. but if that were the case, discharging her from the police force, or temp banning her from just the recording server would have been enough to both solve the issue, send a message and correct the behavior(whatever it was). even giving NO benefit of the doubt here, permabanning from OCRP in total just seems like overkill.

I feel bad for ella because all she tried to do was clear her name for false allegations of cheating, and then was trying to understand why she got banned. She never once said, "i want back on the server," or send any hate to anyone. She tried to do this privately, and it didn't work, so now she asked her questions publically. She is getting roped in with a lot of what uncle tt said just because they were both banned, which sucks because i do have complaints about his video, but all of Ella's stuff has been pretty cordial. First of all I have always thought of Jeff specifically as a pretty good dude who saw things as black and white, if it's a rule it's the rule and breaking them has a consequence which was a big reason he started OCRP as to keep it the same for everyone across the board, so this isn't an attack on anyone of either side of this issue when I say it.
Her side seems to be more along the lines of being in the cross fire of the real drama happening. It seems to me that this came from some complaints and speculation, some staff was digging through her videos for evidence, with the several reasons they voted her to be banned (feels like a bit prematurely, but it also looks like they can use "not a good fit" as a reason alone so I will leave that alone), they had a bad policy of not disclosing reasons which they acknowledged and changed and then the moment TT said her name in his video, they felt like they had to include her issue to get ahead of the problem it appears.
The truth of it is honestly in other people's videos (not mentioning names but she included a clip that was mentioned on the other persons side) and not hers when it comes to the reason she was removed. Her one shot kills have pissed people off and it was quite obvious that she had a target on her back for some time. She is clearly wishing to clear her name I get it and even in the case of TT people are always going to have feelings about how things go down when it comes to their side of things. They should never have had a policy that was so secretive which could have avoided this but now that this has been rectified it shouldn't be a future problem, but in her case specifically it clearly was not a removal because of actual broken rules/policy, this removal was because people didn't like the fact she had abilities to stop scenes from playing out the way they had hoped because she domed them, which made her an enemy to their content.
I respect Jeff a lot for this post, but I just think they need to straighten themselves out, it doesn’t make sense why they didn’t just remove LEO tags instead of it building it all up. And I saw a post from Alyssa (Lifelyss) on Uncle TT’s video stating that she was banned twice and one of the times she has been yelled and belittled at by Buggs in a voice channel, and god I hope that not true but people aren’t always what they seem so if that’s true. That’s absolutely disgusting. But I prefer to stick to the facts from evidence and not believe into potential rumours but I am shocked by all of this.
As soon as Jeff said they had 800 members I could see a lot of the problem. I didn't realize OCRP had gotten that big. It looks to me like they're speedrunning through all the problems of a large MMO guild, and I've seen those problems from both sides as a leader and a nobody.

I appreciate Jeff and Ryan's post, but a couple of things grind my gears still.
1) it feels in Ellas case it isn't clear by the admins the real reason for the ban, he initially put cheating down, then removed it and just is left with this unusual list of minor issues that could easily be sorted out with dialogue, warning or removal from LEO. I feel they are being disingenuous of the real reason for the ban, it must have been the cheating and now they're trying to save face.
2) it is not correct for admin team to use ANY evidence from recording server as reason for a ban. It is quite clear recording server has no rules, unless it really is a "rules for thee, not for me" situation, which if so is really really bad. Otherwise if we agree the rules are lax on recording server then clips of Ella killing the player and ending their scene shouldnt be valid for a ban on the main server.
Also i find it hard to believe 5 admins came on and a majority all agreed Ella should be banned for these reasons. Again i feel that is disingenuous and the true reason for the vote was hacking, and these other reasons were just contributory. If 5 people really agreed to straight ban for these reasons alone, then OCRP has an admin issue. Ban should be reviewed and rolled back with dialogue used instead, given a warning or threat of removing Leo tags if issues continued. For a server were admins regularly talk about mental wellbeing and how the admins are all just human, I think they seem to forget the players are also human and make mistakes. No warning permanent ban is not good for someone's mental health when these players spend so many hours here with friends who are like family. They should acknowledge a ban like this has a real impact on a person more so than another game like a shooter where you can join any other server.. tnis is more of a community. Bans should be a last resort after dialogue. Admins need to treat issues as "was there malice/intent or did the human behind the character make an innocent mistake". If admins don't consider that before voting to ban then there's issues with how the server is managed imo

Some valid points but as to second point the recording server was set up for specifically Buggs and Ryan to do a certain type of content and the members know this so yes, while lapse, there are rules in the recording server.

I don't think the admins see themselves as bad admins, but I think OCRP has an issue with communication.
I've tried to be in a community and getting kicked out (irl stuff though), and finding out that I had been talked about, but not to. It sucks, and those communities are not valuing their participants enough.
One thing these two communities have in common is that there is no lack of people that wants to join, and I think that may change how they view people. You can just kick them, more will join.
I think it was a business decision. From their POV, you were "buzzkilling" too many RP scenes, and your personality just wasn't working for those in charge. Unfortunate they had to go about it like this.
It feels like someone wanted you out and they came up with reasons after they've made the decision.

the polecat issue has been discussed. buggs and him apparently drifted apart IRL/OOC, Jeff said Polecat was sort of controlling and had a short fuse that was causing friction and both he and buggs basically just opted out of the toxicity and decided to do their own thing. Jeff was far more polite in his phrasing, but that's a blunt summary.

Thought they'd said OCRP is modeled after Florida, I Googled "florida highway patrol jurisdiction" and the featured snippet said:
"FHP has statewide jurisdiction, but shortfalls in FHP staffing sometimes lead to sheriff's offices and city police forces picking up more work, straining resources."
So, super inside baseball if they're even modeling the shortfall in FHP staffing & demanding you stick to highways, which technically should include 68 even though it's not a divided highway. Conversely, that would mean BCSO would be treading on SAHP jurisdiction if they were patrolling or responding to calls for service there (unless mutual aid).
Unjustified shooting, huh? Was Jeff on a civilian oversight board IRL before Florida House Bill 601 shifted them to chief law enforcement officer-appointed? I've been watching Police Activity videos for quite a while now, and before that, the ones released directly by LE agencies. Going off your compilation, I believe you wouldn't lose your badge IRL or anything (and shouldn't in RP either), especially if Tennessee v Garner (a police officer may use deadly force to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect only if the officer has a good-faith belief that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others) is respected in OCRP.
I think the GTA weapon logic distorts use of force. Sure, you can miss tasers both places, but when you get a taser hit in GTA, it doesn't fail because of clothing or whatever reason that it does IRL (which leads to having to escalate to deadly force anyway when just pointing a pistol or rifle at someone would usually achieve compliance if you skip charging up their aggro battery with the taser). So tasers can be misconstrued as a panacea on the use of force continuum in RP if an admin wants to claim you're too pew-pew happy. And the player health is a distortion too. If players are being legit & not having armor on in the setting when they're shirtless or lightly clothed, that's good, but they also need to watch that their health is always at 100% if they're 22ing getting hit by locals or whatever away from their scenes. Then 1-shots are less likely, just as IRL people can keep going for awhile with multiple holes in them in many if not most cases.

Had a shower thought: what if all GTA V (& soon VI) RP communities had access to an independent judiciary composed of people who only ever watch RP (like me)? Each community's rules could say the judiciary has original or appellate jurisdiction over bans.
The judiciary would review the community rules & indictment from the server admins' appointed prosecutor, defense rebuttal, with screen recordings/shot evidence from both sides, and then host trials on a live stream either available to the public or just the community members.
If this went well, RP communities might be proud to advertise this with a seal of approval, & RPers looking for communities would probably gravitate towards membership in same, over those with admins who prefer to act arbitrarily & capriciously (whether they'll admit it or not).
Buggs said in his community post that going forward they will give reasons why they r removed. Ryan said he saw all the criticizing comments abt his rule breaking n bad attitude and he said he did the rule breaking w buggs in the RECORDING SERVER for their content. The attitude is his deteriorating mental health from running OCRP.
I respect all 3 of them for making these posts and sharing their views on the situation.

There are people in OCRP that are LEO restricted that have never once been LEO. You can lose LEO tags even for doing jank shit as a civ. As far as I know there is nothing that says if you break a rule as an LEO that only your LEO tags are at stake.

They’re always talking about how they like to let the cops have a win every now and then, but it does kinda feel like Ryan was more upset about the fact that the cops got a win.
And Buggs was like “I guess there’s a difference between a bad shot and a good shot,” clearly taking Ella’s side in the fact that Ryan just pulled the uzi and fired 20 shots into the one cops belly, then finally aimed for the head and got the kill, then Ella “domed” him, from behind, as he was riding away. And again, Buggs pointed that out, that he was focused on shooting at ONE cop, while the rest were standing right there, already taking aim before he was even pulling away. Ryan said “Yeah, that’s true, but…” and still had to try and minimize the fact that Ella got a good shot on him.

I'm sorry, but I highly disagree with you. I understand it may suck for Ella and others that have been banned, but Buggs, Ryan, and even Jeff make good content. Maybe once the sir is clear, Ella and them can speak on this, maybe come to a resolution. I have liked watching Ella's OCRP videos as much as I have liked watching the others. I was a fan of Buggs before the others, and regardless, I will continue to watch his content.

as you mentioned yourself, jeff's post was at least somewhat cordial. i'm still really surprised at buggs his post though, his reaction was very weird and hostile. as someone who's just a viewer, i'm kinda glad this at least showed buggs his real personality. i really don't wanna be watching someone who reacts like that when the situation gets "real".
Buggs was super pissy out of the 3, like super super pissy. Some how to smaller youtubers are weaponizing their viewers by making videos like this where they gave an update and also in Ella's case, felt her ban reasoning was weird before Jeff made a post as to why, which like Ella said and others did, that just take LEO tags away and half of this is resolved earlier if it was that much of an issue.
Yeah... Read all three messages and my respect for Jeff and Ryan is somewhat restored: I still think the whole thing could have been handled better, especially communication (with the removed members, not the public), and I have mixed feelings about a streamer wanting to communicate what happened, to their viewers, as "drama," but whatever... That Buggs message, however, yikes...

I feel like... It's a freak'n game server. You're not handling nuclear materials or something. Somebody getting a ban with zero explanation, it should be ridiculously obvious why it happened. Nobody should have to be sitting there (player or viewer) scratching their head, trying to figure out what they did wrong. This turned really ugly and I think it really spoiled the server vibe, probably forever. Even as late as yesterday, they could have put it to rest by just calling it a draw... Admit there were mistakes on both sides and just offer to lift the ban. Everybody moves on and it's over. But instead they just doubled down and had everybody dog pile you guys. But yeah, nothing left to do at this point.
As someone who’s been admin in a lot of things (Facebook pages, clans/alliances in mobile games, discord servers, Minecraft servers etc) lifting a ban when you had cause sets a very bad precedent. Not only does it allow others who are banned to think “if I just spam them enough I’ll get back in” but it also can just sour the entire thing. The person who was banned knows they’re on thin ice and brings a downer to everything, and not even mentioning it allows them to poach your members (not saying Ella would do this but I’m just speaking generally).
If you ban someone for breaking the rules, no matter how slight they may seem, making a decision should be the end of it. If they’re warned then so be it, but if they’re banned then you need to stick by that to preserve your community.
I do however agree that being banned without a reason given is BS but they’ve changed that policy. I was always very clear about what they did, when they did it, how I found out, and how what they did was harmful, along with any potential recourse they may have (reapply in 6 months, pay back whatever was lost, demotion, “this is your absolute final warning”, or whatever the case may be.
Yes, it’s just a game, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that people are being hurt in one way or another. And with the content on OCRP being monetizable (I think that’s a word), that brings a whole other factor into the equation that needs to be considered. I only had to deal with that on the mobile game alliances since some people spent a lot of money on those and I treated those much more seriously than I did on my Facebook page for example which was a stupid meme page.
@@Fetidaf I don't think anybody was hurt or demonetized, because somebody didn't stay in their jurisdiction. lol I've run stuff as well. Internet orgs with thousands of people going back to the 90s, and also jobs where I had to manage 50 or more people at a time. In all that time I only had to fire a handful of people and ban a handful of people. I could have done WAY more. But I didn't have to, because I busted my ass to avoid it. I did everything I could to get the person to correct their issues. I one time screwed up and realized a mistake was made. I brought the person back, and explained why to everybody. If anything, it was a positive, not a negative. People appreciate honesty and integrity.
Goes the other way too. You got banned, fair or not, clear or not - move on. There's countless servers, or make your own with your own rules.

And how do you figure that stealing scenes isn’t hurting someone else’s content? It sounds like they were warned many times for the things they were doing wrong and continued to break the rules. Would you allow an employee to do that? I sure as hell hope not.
Allowing someone to break the rules is the worst possible thing to do, one that starts you may as well just shut up the shop cause it’ll happen sooner rather than later anyway.
I get why TT got banned. Like it or not aware of the rules or not, He broke the poaching rule. That ban makes sense. Yours feels less justified, but I feel a lot of this could have been avoided by just simply communicating. People are always gonna disagree with any sort of ban. I know this from experience. But if you can communicate and explain, this what you did, this is why you're banned. It clears up so much stuff and just eliminates the speculation that leads to drama. I dont blame the Admin team, I dont blame Ella, I blame stupid Policy for all of this. More communication was needed.

I did watch TT's video. It doesn't sound like he was poaching. Sounds like he wanted his friends to play with him on his private server with him, and his friends happened to be in OCRP. Maybe it sounded like poaching to the admins of OCRP. But I can't really say since I don't know the full story of either side.

But doing what he did could take away from Buggs and Ryan's playthings they felt threatened instead of trying to come up with a solution. All the drama had to happen first before it was considered. Also a sign of a dictatorship, won't change the rules until leaks happen that shine a potentially bad light and then the change happens. Seems kinda toxic!

I think the OCRP ban system is overall very good, the one strike policy seems fairly lenient towards genuine mistakes and they don't have out bans easily. However I think you should have just been demoted to Civs instead.
Honestly seeing everyone own up to the mistakes is very respectful. Everyone all around dropped the ball. But change is the important thing. No matter what kind of change, having change is important. Having the policies change for future problems is hopeful. Having Ryan own up for having a bad time on stream due to copycats, having Jeff, Bugs and Kim speak up and all admit that things were done wrong, was so respectful in so many forms. We all take this as a learning experience, be respectful to all parties (you can still like Ella, and Jeff/Ryan/Buggs/Kim. But don't attack any party, please? Let's just all love for the RP, not the server. Anytime something like this happens there's person A's side, Person B's side, and the truth (not saying anyone is lying) it's up to us to make our own decision. Much love Ella
seems like a bunch of accusations were thrown just to see which of them might stick. interestingly enough, the cheating allegations got dropped off. for a decision that was supposedly finalized over a month ago or so, it kinda looks suspicious. not to mention one of the admins claimed that this whole drama was a smear campaign against them by the two banned members. way to be over dramatic on their side
they probably won't admit this, but i think it's probably because you ended their scene too quickly and they don't like that. hence why you got booted out. they won't say that was the reason because that would have made them look bad and very selfish, and the recording server itself is really buggs and ryans' server. everybody else are just participants, or tools to make them look good in their recordings

leading to a Ban of you or other members is the exact definition of Power Hungry | Ban Happy. In 1 of those scenes you shared w/you shooting Ryan it was justified he shot y'all LEO's.
If that happened in RL, a LEO or LEO's wouldn't just watch the operator/driver drive away which would lead to the operator/driver get away.
It's gonna be a matter of time until more OCRP Members either get banned or decide to leave because what feels like Power Hungry | Ban Happy Staff/Admins.
All of this is really difficult to judge as someone from the outside, but it is a pity. I love OCRP content (from you Jeff, Buggs and Ryan) and it has been a source of joy and distraction from difficult times, whenever I needed it. And I really think you added a lot to that and have become one of my favorite content creators. I also commented this on Jeff's post: it seems to me the reasons for the ban are very minor and something that could be addressed and resolved between reasonable people, which everybody involved seems to be (again, just the opinion from someone on the outside looking in). Just seems a bit harsh.

The fact that Jeff had to make a post because of all the backlash goes to show you shouldn't have been removed. I always thought it was a running joke that hwy was never on the hwy. Everyone knew you was a good shoot. Even Buggs and Ryan knew if you was on scene they would get shot. They loved it. It's definitely not the same without you.

Well they do own the server, it's not like it's a publicly owned and run service. It's a privately owned server which has a white list for invited people. It would make less sense to have random people the owners didn't know, or didn't like or get along with running it along side the them...

I expect grown men in their 30s/40s to have a better sense of fairness and respect towards community members than treating them like children. It is disappointing that they removed you from the community you and boom are my favorite LEO. It does kill the scene slightly with you being such a good shot but it also makes it more thrilling to watch if they do get one up on you like the taco truck getaway. Either way you were an entertaining addition to 99% of the scenes you were on and you will be missed.

I had said to my partner when we started watching OCRP that I was getting a, "Group of little boys playing hot wheels with each other when one of them loses their shit over someone 'not playing right' aka not playing the way I want them to" vibes.
All of this just makes me feel like I was right. The way they took two days to get together to get their stories straight and then still came out with pretty crap statements.

I recently joined OCRP and was not even in the FiveM server didn’t get a member tag yet so I can join the fivem server just had access to the discord and 24 hours later was greeted with a straight up removal from OCRP discord didn’t get a answer until I message a bunch of people and than they said it’s because I used the fag word in my stream which was a year ago. This wasn’t directed to any OCRP members nothing didn’t even know this was said in this video. Could of said hey you know you said this maybe trim this out or delete this video or something along the lines but nope went to check discord like I said and was removed and my application was change from accepted to denied I get they can remove people all they want but to not give somebody a chance. And yeah never even see if he’s a good role player or not. And than 10 minutes later the admin who dm me deleted the message which I still have I screenshotted it. OCRP is up to something shady and they need help. They say there not banned happy but they either kick / banned / remove me from the discord without reason / warning e.t.c. Until like 30 minutes later and again that was because I was messaging a lot of people.
I feel sorry to UncleTT but I do think his ban was fair, strict but fair. Even as strict as they are, i'm still so confused on why you got banned. The only thing that would make sense is them hardcore speculating that your using aimbot, and being so confident in that speculation with such poor evidence just feels a bit.. off 🤔I can't say that I think they are terrible people or anything, but it does feels like a mistake on their end. or an over reaction at least.

He has questioned getting shot several times insinuating immediately that your cheating, then he made the gender remark, which buggs immediately apologized for ryan, being an idiot. As a huge buggs fan he had such a shit take and I am defeated that it seems like they are becoming the very things they talk shit about all the time (being doj) I am glad Ryan and Jeff could actually admit fault and apologize, even though ryans felt super half assed imo. Funny enough we even noticed that you stopped patrolling in the highway department and we both noticed when you were not in videos anymore. I'll definitely miss seeing you in OCRP, but I'm glad the situation has brought some clarity and much-needed improvements to the community. It must be tough to leave a place you cared about so deeply. I really hope you find as much joy in MBIRP as you did before. We’ll be here cheering you on, and while I'm not sure if a return to OCRP is possible, ngl, I still hope to see you back there someday.
If I were to help answer these questions, I would say that those videos are probably the exact examples the admins used to make the decision. I agree mistakes happen, but it seems like it was enough mistakes to make their decision. Their goal is to make content that uplifts people. Content that can be as fun and entertaining as possible. If I were to guess, they just wanted to ensure this quality and probably think that you would make a great content creator in a different GTA RP server but might not be the most compatible with the vision they have for OCRP. They are the admins and I dont think they will be reversing the decision, especially now. I agree in that I hope you dont give up on other GTA rp communitites. As many of the members have said, you are actually fun to watch and play with.

I dont get the selfdispatching reason. The only time i saw you do it was on the "guac" selling where you got to the scene, but i get it was due to the nature of the call. They should have dedicated 911 operators to avoid it as you will rush to a scene and maybe forget to call it. So yeah bad decision. And those other shooting were justified as an officer will deploy lethal when lethal is required. And i enjoy both of y'all. Sad to see you get banned but it was a decision not the best one but a decision in the end.

Im glad you got some clarity about the reasons for your removal, as you proved that you wasn't using aimbot. And seems Jeff did acknowledge that by not putting it in his post, not that you should of had to prove it I might add because you aren't a cheat. I think the other stuff was a bit petty myself and should of been handled better, but at least this has bought about change in OCRP that was clearly needed for a long time.
Do feel disappointed in certain people from that community, they've shown their true colours and I won't be giving those people my time from now on.

iv been watching Jeff, Buggs and Ryan and love there rp but there has been may times iv seen them run in cuffs and 1 tap or shot people they shouldn't have. Mistakes can be made and also I understand there content creators so they want to run in cuffs to keep it going or something of that nature. But I think removing you from the server was a bit dramatic for the little rules you broke its not like you do it in ever scenario and it prolly could of been resolved just with a talk or maybe some little form of punishment. I don't think your rp disrupted or made the game less fun I actually enjoyed your leo I actually didn't know you had a RUclips channel tell all this started coming out and wondered what happened to you. you will be missed by the community and viewers.
