Anderhalf jaar geleden is mijn vader gestorven. In het allerlaatste minuut van zijn leven gaf hij zijn hart aan Jezus. In de dagen die volgden heeft dit lied zoveel voor ons betekend, dat we hebben besloten het te draaien toen mijn vaders kist de kerk uitgedragen werd... nog steeds kan ik mijn tranen niet inhouden als ik deze ontroerende koorzang hoor. Op mijn vaders graf staat de tekst: "In het huis van mijn Vader zijn vele woningen..." Bedankt, Jigdaljahu, voor het vertolken van de emoties die wij als familie voelden.
Wat indrukwekkend, bedankt dat je dit deelt met ons!
Wat een prachtig gezongen lied. Zo mag het ook zijn. In het huis van de Vader wordt een plaats gecreëerd voor een ieder die Jezus Christus in zijn leven als Heer en Zaligmaker heeft aangenomen. Hoe mooi zal die dag zijn als Jezus Christus in Zijn volkomen heerlijkheid het Koninkrijk zal stichten.

Dit zijn heilige gezangen
Vroeger hadden wij een plaat met christelijke liederen, het was een jeugdkoor geloof ik. Een lied met de volgende woorden komt nog vaak bij me naar boven: Deze dag Heer, met zijn moeiten en zorgen, geef ik terug aan u, U bent de rots Heer... na na na na na na, ik vertrouw op U. Iets dergelijks, weet iemand hier meer van af en kunt u mij op het spoor brengen dat naar deze liederen leidt? Dank alvast

As much as I love the enthusiasm in this performance, I am so sad that I don't see a single real copy of the music (the copies have a blue cover). Also, people are reading from iPads, and this music is not sold digitally. I do wonder .....
Dear Philip, thank you for your response. We are very sorry that you have this impression through the video images. However, we have purchased the original sheet music from Proza Musica and the orchestra score via Sheetmusicplus. It is true that we have magnified the music for in our choir music folders and our ipad users. If you leave your email address, we can send you the invoices as proof.
UPDATE - This is not my orchestration. For example, the flute is playing an octave too high in the very opening measures. This group failed to get in touch with me or my publisher to ask if they could re-arrange my music. If I was dead, I guess it wouldn't matter, but as I am a living composer you would think I am entitled to be respected and appropriately contacted for approval. Other composers are too scared to call out this behaviour. I am not. The Dutch seem to have a real problem with respecting the music. The Truro Cathedral/BBC National Orchestra of Wales recording is my composition, note for note, which can be viewed on my RUclips channel.
If this music is from you, I should never have known if this choir shouldn't had sung this beautiful song. You must take this as a complement that they did mister. The text is so encouragement! The Lord is coming to take us. This is the rapture of the true believers, and this is immenent! Are you ready?

It is a beautiful “song” (you mean composition/piece!) because of what I have written and that should be respected 100%. Now you know.
