These ladies are really killing it. Amazing routine, showing a strong and fast athleticism. It must've been such a hard work, and the results are really rewarding. Love it.
This routine is meant for World of Dance.
How can you not love BYU?

There were so many original MOVES in there!! Man, I can see their specialty. So well done!
I watch this when I’m being lazy or in a bad mood and I am CURED
Cool, they even incorporated BTS music into their choreography. They're fantastic and a force to be reckoned with !!

FIERCE
It's so awesome to see a great dance video where women aren't wearing something super skimpy. Way to keep it real and modest
Modest is boring lol
Welcome to BYU
Leotards aren’t immodest. Stop shaming dancers and their bodies ya weirdo
boomm! 🔥
Mic drop?!!!
I'm amazed the lady who lost her shoe was still able to continue her jumps and stick the landings so well without slipping.
I only saw the lost shoe at 01:20, did she lose it before that?
👍
They are cool. 👍
I am writing a comment with a translation app. 😅
I can only read Japanese.😭

It kinda sounded like BTS's mic drop beat at the end
Any army is here 💜
;)
I typically hate hip hop because it's usually so vulgar. This routine was FUN to watch! Thanks for keeping it clean girls!
The camera work ruins the performance tbh
The dedication, athleticism, coordination, and skill of these women is abundantly clear. The movements, costumes, hair, makeup, cultural history of this style, and "music" are so abrupt, aggressive, and masculine in this style of competition that it appears beneath such women of internal and external beauty to participate in it. This inspires one to wonder why they do not participate in a competition more worthy of their beauty, and of the standards they represent.
Thank you.
AJ Hubbell This was hilariously condescending. They're amazing dancers, period. "The worth of their beauty" -really?, or the genre of music doesn't apply if you're a outstanding dancer. Get off your highhorse.
AJ Hubbell, perhaps this is more what you had in mind?

I have the same reaction watching men doing ballet. I can appreciate the skill and dedication that it requires, but the art form itself seems decidedly feminine, though I wouldn't say it is "beneath" them.
Having said all that, I still prefer this homage-to-krump routine because the Cougarettes straight killed it! 😎
AJ Hubell Well said. Absolutely agree. I'm disappointed to see the dance of urban thug culture at BYU.
Aggressive? Masculine? Post a video of you doing even 20 seconds of this dance. If you think for one second beauty has nothing to do with blood, sweat, and hard work then you are sorely mistaken. Beauty is pain and you have absolutely none of it.
Virtuous? Lovely? Of good report?
Perhaps one soul will come unto the fold because they were impressed with their performance enough to inquire about BYU and their faith? There are different ways to reach every audience or child of God who needs the gospel in their lives. Sure, there wasn't anything not virtuous (They were very modest in dress), it was lovely/nice/impressive/talented and being #1 in the world is a good report as representatives of the Lord.
Yup, all that.
I'd say yes... and definitely Praiseworthy!
YES
Nope.
My thoughts: Mormon 2:27, Helaman 4:23-24. Many have exercised their right to express their opinion, and so have I.
Love BYU, but diversity much? I mean aside from the three brunettes?
You are aware that BYU as a whole undergraduate college is 86% white right?
Sorry, it's a female only gig. :P
Wow, does rap require that NO ONE smile--it's almost as if it's a grim dance off.
The young ladies have come a long way from the "CougarEats" of the 1980's.
The hip-hop and rap culture are not for us...as we will someday realize.
That’s because your jealous that you can’t dance like that. Rap and R&B isn’t going anywhere. People need to dance and you can’t get this type of dance moves from anything else. That’s why it thrives.
Who's "us"? As usual, nothing ever changes...
I Appreciate the talent, skill and strength required to perform this dance, but honestly, I hated it. Poor song choice, no class, outfits are just goofy. These girls did a great job executing a very poorly choreographed dance.
Boring 😬
Good dancers. Bad music.
