Yeah, and they even mention that there is a small chance that it can be shiny. Like, really? "small chance" is an understatement for something that takes so long. I'm skipping this and waiting for a better method in 5 years to get a shiny one :D
@@Marusticshiny hunting is about efficiency. This raid-based, full odds shiny is horrendously inefficient. I value my time too much for that. Everyone has different priorities. Not sure why you had to resort to an insult here
I’ve played somewhere in the ballpark of 1500 hours between scarlet and violet & have only 1 time had a double shiny in all of those hours! What crazy cool luck!! 🍀 🎉
I’m an Offline Player, so far my Strategy is taking a normal Gimmighoul into the 5 Star Raids, so I can double check after the Pop. I have found looking at its face in the background on the walls, makes it easier to see if it is Shiny or not, after it has popped. Then jump out of the Raid and if I wasn’t 100% sure, I triple check by looking at my Pokèdex/Shiny Counter to see if it has registered the Shiny form. I’m up to 7 resets, I didn’t count the Raids XD
I would like to say I don’t believe it is 1/4000 or something. I’ve done around 20 raids and got 2. Either my luck is insane or the odds are decent. I would say at least give it a try!

easy tip for shiny gimmighoul. look at the little guy and look at the coin on the outside of the chest. If it isn't shiny they will match.
i’m at 802 five star Gimmighoul raids checked here, watching this for moral support lol. 37-40 hours deep so far 😅
