Robbie talks with so much sense, clarity, and wisdom. He is an inspiration! I saw take that in the 90's and had to help someone in the crowd who had an asthma attack and fainted, so I missed most of the show. I carried her to the first aid area by the side of the stage (I was about 13) and stood watching the show from the side of the stage and Robbie walked off stage after that song and waved at me. It made me so happy but no one believed me of course.
I was never a big fan of boy bands or pop music but after watching the Robbie Williams interview on True Geordie, I learned what a gem Robbie is. He's humble, insightful, passionate and compassionate. He's been at the top and at the bottom. He loves his family and friends immensely and is devoted to them. This man has not squandered his fame he's learned from his life experiences and used that knowledge to make his world better AND he's been sharing the knowledge with anyone who wants to know. I love him to death and watch anything he shows up on. ❣❣
I have to say Robert and Gabor Mate have given me many insights into my addictions and my PTSD over the years an the way my personality (ego) developed. I have videos and documented my addiction in 5 minute sessions over days and months the last year and believe me at 60 years of age it is not pretty at all. When I am in full recovery I am going to make one video exposing everything an addict goes through. The thoughts and resistance to getting well. If one person can get help that will be great. My next and fourth rehab will be my last
Crazy eyes & electric hair doo, he is a lovely man ,so calm and slow spoken not at all what I expected. I expected someone who talked fast like a machine gun.
That was excellent. Always loved Robbie's entertainment and cheeky appearance on stage (like he's taking the piss) - even loved his crazy days because I somehow totally understood it. Finally had the time for a long format interview. It's nice listening to him just talk and him being sober is incredible for the work he does. I agree with his wife on the high school experience. The normality and structure of it will be good for them long term. Most western societies has serious issues with kids thriving poorly and going on a downward spiraling mental health post-C19. It needs to be recognized and giving kids their physical community back is a start on solving their problems.

Nothing against Robbie Williams, but manufactured boy bands were an absolute scourge on society from the 80's & 90's onwards. I listened to primarily alternative & indie music. However, as we get older or things in our lives change our musical sensibilities, like say, having kids or a new relationship or whatever, we may see things & people & music we severely disliked in a different light. This was not the case with Take That, but with Robbie's solo career. Songs like Feel & Angels just hit different when I was in a new phase of my life, where I previously would've changed the radio station straight over to something heavier or more alternative. But what I like about Robbie is his self deprecating humour, his honesty about his past & his flaws & owning his mental health. I don't know too many of his songs other than the big radio hits, but he has a great voice, can definitely entertain (see the 2022 AFL Grand Final pre-show Robbie did to 95,000 Australians where he crushed it.) I wish Robbie all the best, as someone who also struggles with mental illnesses & addiction. And thanks for the songs I've come to enjoy by him.
Love Robbie, seen him live twice, yes he's cocky but can step up to the plate and perform live as a musical icon God.. Karma Killer, Phoenix from the flames, Come undone, I could go on but please stop whinging on about the past. Move on Robbie. That said his opinion on 'conspiracy theory's I totally agree with him and still love him, it's cheeky Robbie at the end of the day ❤👍
I think Robbie is the man, bcz he seems to be the guy, that "all" women would do, and all guys would enjoy partying with. Very very often it's only one of the groups, that like a guy, bcz of their own insecurity or something like that. I think us guys think, that he deserves his success, unlike so many pretty boys with teams of tools who write and whatever for them.. I might be wrong - but he seems to be as "normal" as any other randome dude with a good brain and huge brass thingies..
Speaks so much sense here about the conspiracy theories. It's exactly how I fell wish he would come and tell the world what he has seen and shut up the people who think they know the truth through " research"
I have a grudge against Oasis as well. 😉 In the 90s they were scheduled to play literally 2 blocks from my house at the outdoor Mesa, AZ Amphitheatre. The Gallagher brothers had a spat so they cancelled & never rescheduled. 😠
I like Robbie as a person. His music i like some songs. But come on!!!!This guy was an Oasis fanboy in the nineties. And that talk about the boxing match.Just look at his reaction at that award show.He did not have a big mouth then. And he left early!!!!🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣

Brilliant talented cursed and blessed. ❤
Andrew, I'll comment on your videos in general, not this one. You run the serious risk of turning more and more right wing, without realising it .Maybe that's fine with you, but I don't think that was the intention. It's just what happens naturally to podcasters who position themselves as "non political", just being curious, just asking questions, but before they know it, it always ends up revolving around the same types of opinions, they adopt the same talking points of the Right, and see common criticism of the Left as fact, when in reality it's nothing more than opinion. I'm serious when I say that, as a viewer, I see it happening.
@@AndrewGold1 It's not about this interview, sorry if it's confusing, it's something I have observed in some of your videos and could have given specific feedback where it is relevant. And I will, I owe you that. I wanted to draw attention to the fact that in my opinion it is very hard to avoid, I would include myself if I was in the same position as you. I'll give you 3 examples: - complaining about virtue signalling is a rehashed argument from the Right. The Right being outraged at the use of pronouns, or being passionate about Pro-life (or anything for that matter), can also be accused of virtue signalling. For them, what they stand for is virtue, and they are signalling it. There isn’t a way to know what someone’s true intentions are when they express an opinion. Assuming it’s for wrong reasons, only when it’s the Left, is sliding towards the Right. - Then there’s Jordan Peterson case. I admire the story of this ex Muslim lady, I truly do, for all the courage that she showed. I wish her well too. But it doesn’t prevent her from being very conservative, and that’s often the case with people who have been involved in extremism (but not always). Jordan Peterson is a very controversial figure who is considered Right wing extremist, with very strong opinions against the Left. He can suggest accusions of someone being interested in child porn in a Tweet without the hint of a proof, just because it’s someone who he opposes politically. The fact that you don’t push back, well it may not be your role, but it feels like (and that’s the risk) you would agree more and more with these people the more you get close to them (because there’s a personal relation, and empathy for these people). Their discourse gets normalised (for you, for me, for any viewer) - Now JK Rowling, same thing. She may not be an extremist, but her views are directly affecting a minority, a group of people.
@@WoodyGamesUK I think you're confusing Left and Right with Authoritarian vs Libertarian. You can be either of the latter on the Left or Right. I lean Left for policies such as abortion, drugs, prison, lgb, and most importantly to the position relatively high taxes on the rich. I also lean a little libertarian. It means I'm not about to tell women they must be forced to accept certain ideologies that come from magical thinking and pseudoscience. But mostly, it means I welcome people with different views from mine. The Authoritarian Left and Right have done equally awful things (without realising they were doing wrong) over the centuries - but centrists and moderate libertarians have not. When you find yourself equating JK Rowling with the Right...one of the boldest, most Left Wing champions of minorities in modern times, then it might suggest your own place on the spectrum is out of whack. I'd imagine that'd be hard for you to see right now though. But really, I'm very much in the centre. I would warn you to be careful, because suggesting that anyone who agrees with certain elements accepted on the Right IS right-wing inspires bigoted and prejudiced thinking. Virtue signalling obviously happens - we all engage in it. We just disagree about the degree to which it is happening. I'd conclude by just saying, I've certainly not gotten 'more' Right Wing. In fact, although I've always been centre-left, when I started this podcast a few years ago, I was far more persuaded by some of those things you don't like than I am now. You're probably referring to some of my older videos.
@@AndrewGold1 I didn’t say that agreeing with anything from the Right is bigoted or prejudiced. I only mentioned elements that I find disturbing, that are very divisive and cause harm to groups of people who already have had prejudice against them historically. I wouldn’t have bothered otherwise. JK Rowling, I can see her as a feminist figure who did a lot of good, and still think that she’s causing a lot of harm with her transgender comments. People who are affected are the ones who should say whether this is the case. You may say that not all of them are against JK Rowling’s views, but what about the ones who are, are they all "out of whack"? Virtue signalling happens, to what degree, and who is doing it, we don’t know. My point isn’t to dispute that. My issue is with the Right using it as an argument to discredit any criticism from the Left, by casting doubt on the person’s true motives, and moral standards in general, which has the power to dismiss anything they are being criticised for (if one is willing to adopt it). It’s a flawed argument, and if you are willing to reuse it at every opportunity, then you shouldn’t be surprised to be called out. Authoritarian ideologies, historically, go hand in hand with extremes, but the point of having a strong political identity (for a person, or a government) isn’t to impose them by way of dictature, it is to push for what they consider to be the most effective for the good of the people they represent, and based on what they consider the most desirable in a society (education, living standard, technological progress, environment…), which is subjective and part of the ideology itself. Having a strong ideology that is Left or Right has nothing to do with being authoritarian. In fact the fight against authoritarianism should be a core element of policies even when they are leaning away from the center. Of course certain ideologies have the cult of the leader baked into the ideology itself, or a nationalism or racism that cannot be separated from the ideology. This has to be fought against, always, at any cost. I don’t think it’s a healthy strategy to accuse the other person of “confusing” things like Left and Right with Authoritarian vs Libertarian. I am not trying to lecture you on anything, or educate you. Just taking issue on some things that you have expressed. All I have mentioned in my examples, are things that are very commonly expressed by the Right, and that I find troublesome (not that I find everything from the Right troublesome). JK Rowling including. It doesn’t matter if she’s left wing, what she says today about transgenders (specifically) is typically adopted by the Right today. Eventually I suggested (accuse, you may say) you of sliding towards the Right, and I still think you cannot be aware of the process of ideas become more normal, or at odds with yourself, even though I admit that the process is fluid and doesn’t go in one direction at all times. I took issue at certain opinions that you expressed, or that a guest expressed. This is just my opinions, I expressed my objections, you may not agree, however I was respectful and did not try to force these opinions. You accuse me of me being equally blinded by my own political affiliation, making it “hard to see right now” for me. I don’t think we can go any further with this.
@@WoodyGamesUK 'Authoritarian ideologies ... push for what they consider to be the most effective for the good of the people they represent, and based on what they consider the most desirable in a society'. You are absolutely spot on. They all do so thinking they are doing good. But I prefer - and I think it's the responsibility of any good journalist to go with - the words of Bertrand Russell: Never let yourself be diverted either by what you wish to believe, or by what you think would have beneficent social effects if it were believed. But look only, and solely, at what are the facts. Providing JK Rowling is speaking truth and science, her speech must be defended. And the idea that because some people - be they minorities or otherwise - are offended, it means she is wrong is bananas. What about all the women - certainly a marginalised group - who are offended by what you say? And by the way, what was it that JK Rowling actually said that was so 'harmful' and wrong. Historically, groups have always done what they think is best for society. The times that have gone most wrong are when they've stopped considering the two sides to each debate. So in answer to your very first comment - as we've gone down something of a rabbit hole - I appreciate your concern about my apparent lingering towards wrong-think. And am ready for my Orwellian 1984 re-education camps so that my ideology better suits yours, lest I be 'Right Wing' (aka thinks different things from you.)

Love Robbie, seen him live twice, yes he's cocky but can step up to the plate and perform live as a musical icon God.. Karma Killer, Phoenix from the flames, Come undone, I could go on but please stop whinging on about the past. Move on Robbie. That said his opinion on 'conspiracy theory's I totally agree with him and still love him, it's cheeky Robbie at the end of the day ❤👍
Second watch, kudos to Robbie for wanting to ask the other three about them, not him, class
RW just defined the human condition. Financial insecurity.
Why doesn't Shaun get a toddler in to write Jen better questions.
Can’t wait for my Christmas copy of XXV👍🏾👍🏾
It’s great. No Regrets is my favourite remaster
Speaks so much sense here about the conspiracy theories. It's exactly how I fell wish he would come and tell the world what he has seen and shut up the people who think they know the truth through " research"
I have a grudge against Oasis as well. 😉
In the 90s they were scheduled to play literally 2 blocks from my house at the outdoor Mesa, AZ Amphitheatre. The Gallagher brothers had a spat so they cancelled & never rescheduled. 😠
Booo!
I love Robbie and I love Aniston! Why couldn' t they have met years ago???? 😍
Rewatching. 28th Dec 2024❤
on the edge your a star!
You’re
Viv Nicholson 'Spend spend spend!'
He looks like Morrissey now.
We are scarily exactly of the same mind…. I don’t actually know anybody I can say that about. 🐈⬛👽
To Robbies comment about Ryan Reynolds. Have you seen how many adverts he's doing these days .... maybe that's how he's financing Wrexham 🤔
How sad that he doesnt know who he is without fame. Sad.
I am praying he finds the truth: Jesus❤
Reminds me of One Direction
ONCE AGAIN YT DIDN'T NOTIFY ME... A WHOLES..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
He’s telling u people!!!!!!! There are non-humans amongst us
“I’m Bruce Wayne”. Next album title?
He looks like Morrissey used to.
I saw Morrissey the other day.
He doesn't look like him anymore 😆
He does look like an old Moz, lol
Stewart Lee’s let himself go
Excellent
Why the clickbait? He hasn’t said a bad word against a living soul. He’s proper charming. 🐈⬛
Relevancy isn't a word is it?
The word is relevance
I like Robbie as a person. His music i like some songs. But come on!!!!This guy was an Oasis fanboy in the nineties. And that talk about the boxing match.Just look at his reaction at that award show.He did not have a big mouth then. And he left early!!!!🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣

That cuts gotta go..you look like bloody Morrise.😆😆
Andrew, I'll comment on your videos in general, not this one. You run the serious risk of turning more and more right wing, without realising it .Maybe that's fine with you, but I don't think that was the intention. It's just what happens naturally to podcasters who position themselves as "non political", just being curious, just asking questions, but before they know it, it always ends up revolving around the same types of opinions, they adopt the same talking points of the Right, and see common criticism of the Left as fact, when in reality it's nothing more than opinion. I'm serious when I say that, as a viewer, I see it happening.
Romain, what are you talking about, it's an interview with singer Robbie Williams. What did I say that was Right Wing?
@@AndrewGold1 It's not about this interview, sorry if it's confusing, it's something I have observed in some of your videos and could have given specific feedback where it is relevant. And I will, I owe you that. I wanted to draw attention to the fact that in my opinion it is very hard to avoid, I would include myself if I was in the same position as you. I'll give you 3 examples:
- complaining about virtue signalling is a rehashed argument from the Right.
But I prefer - and I think it's the responsibility of any good journalist to go with - the words of Bertrand Russell:
Never let yourself be diverted either by what you wish to believe, or by what you think would have beneficent social effects if it were believed.
Last person I expected to see is Sean fucking attwood 😂😂😂 the fuck is he doing interviewing Robbie
Robbie offered to fight Liam in an organised Boxing match back in the 90s! That was WAY before all this boring Influencer Boxing bollocks! He even offered Liam out at an awards show and Liam ALWAYS bottled it! The Gallaghers tough? What BS!
