EVERY JOB I got hired at, They all told me not to discuss my pay with my co workers. That's cause I would be the new guy and already be getting paid more than guys who have already been there for multiple years. But i never gave a fuck and if they asked me hm i was making i told them. The look of horror in their faces when they find out im making almost $3-$5 more than them is something hard to forget lol. Ive also been in their shoes before. To me, i've always had the mindset that its the employees vs management and we gotta have each others backs. So i would advise them to ask for a raise after a month but they always would go the same day and demand one and bring up my salary lol. Then I would get an earful for causing them to lose a good worker when they inevitably quit. But 2/3 times thats happened they called them back and gave em the same pay rate i was getting. I get that they offered me a higher rate cause they had to offer a high rate to attract good prospects but god damn, take care of your loyal guys too.
