Guys reminder b4 u do auditions under companies remember to make sure to look at the backgrounds of them to be sure they won't mistreat you!
99% of companies will mistreat you as a trainee, you’re just cattle to be traded or thrown away to them. You’re only treated well if you’re 1. Rich 2. Exceptionally pretty 3. Exceptionally talented or a staff fave/popular amongst trainees. Sm treats trainees badly (not as bad as before), yg also doesn’t treat trainees very well unless they’re yg faves and I think I heard cube wasn’t so good. Jyp obsesses over female bodies so all female trainees get unfairly judged daily for their bodies and it’s not the best environment mentally for female trainees but male trainees have an okay time

You know some companies ask for frontal photos?
@@HauMun_1lovetacos Yeah, some do. I would just keep a picture of your front view just in case.
Just film 2/3 songs and 2/3 dances, take the headshots that are good and mass apply. Don’t bother doing different things for every single company, it’s a waste of time and won’t get you any closer to getting accepting. I suggest only doing specific songs and dances when you know a company has a very obvious genre/taste. For example, if you do YG (don’t do yg it’s the biggest waste of time) then you need to do hip hop and rnb or even rapping but if you did jyp (don’t do jyp unless you’re a super young person and not a girl bc jyp has an unhealthy obsession with the weight and appearance of the female trainees) you need to do bubblegum pop and upbeat dances. Aside from some exceptions, your best shot is to just mass apply. If you don’t get any, don’t re-apply until you’ve found a few new dances/songs (or improved on your last submissions) and then reapply. Sometimes if you apply too often they will flag you as spam and ignore you for an indefinite period of time and you aren’t going to improve to the standard they want if you apply every few weeks vs every few months. You only need to learn a minute to 2 minutes max of a song or dance to audition so if you spend 3 days learning 3 different dance breaks and a day learning 3 different song verses, you’ll be able to get it over with quite fast. Imo, the hardest part is the headshots because sometimes they’re vague and other times they’re very specific and you have to have the best lighting, best natural makeup and best posing because no matter how good your videos are, they don’t want you if your pics aren’t semi decent…which says a lot about the industry
Edit: remember to take full body shot, side profiles, close up headshot, and a head shot from the chest up because some companies will ask for 3+ pictures and they have to be good photos because lookism in Korea is rampant and rules society, especially this industry

ok little story time i used to dance at this studio where they teach kpop dances, they are in contact with many kpop agencies, and they posted a video of my group dancing. my mom got an email from the studio asking if i could drive to the studio, so fnc entertainment could talk to me. i was at school, so my mom said i couldn’t come. the studio said i can record an introduction video and they would send it to fnc. do you have any tips for doing introduction videos? (ik this story sounds kinda weird but i swear i’m not lying) thank you i love your videossss 💗

If you're talking about Jennie's new company, there are no auditions I know about, And The company is mainly for Jennie and her own promotions.
