I’m being threatened with eviction, for past due, it’s been a struggle all my life, since I suffer from post polio syndrome, which I had polio as a 13 month old baby. Monsignor, have you heard of Teresa Higginson? She was local to us in Neston, Merseyside and was considered for sainthood by the vatican...in fact they shelved her case rather than reject it. She experienced stigmata and spiritual attacks. My family used to visit her grave. There are books written about her as well as informative videos on YT.

I Respectfully disagree with the interpretation of this "doctrine". With all due Respect to St Gemma. During his ministry, Jesus did not go around Blessing people for suffering, particularly illnesses. Instead Jesus healed people to The Glory of God. Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus is the same today..." Jesus wants to heal. Jesus Resurrection and His return, that's what the focus needs to be on. I think that over the centuries, particularly the 20 and now 21, the Roman Catholic Church's institutional body has lacked the ultimate Faith to be a bride for Jesus' Miracles instead settling for visuals and dramas. I'm not suggesting St Gemma had any diabolical influence and I don't comprehend the necessity for suffering, especially in lieu of Jesus' ultimate sacrifice, at least suffrage to the extent that she did. My understanding is that demons can cause persons to levitate, not saying that's what did it for her, just saying that levitating is not a phenomenon of Godliness alone. And in what form did she embrace Jesus? You mean the crucifix in front of her? Or is Jesus actually appearing in front of her? If suffering is so great why isn't it happening in Heaven? Why isn't it the ultimate goal? Suffer, suffer, suffer, that's not Jesus. And yes, I know it's unavoidable here on earth and yes we can grow from it but being a virtue to that type of suffering is contrary to Jesus teaching, despite isolated scriptures. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I don't agree, May Jesus correct me and forgive me if I'm wrong May he correct others and forgive them if they're wrong.
