- Mike & Ty have made it a tradition when they both pull Kansas tags to go hunt with their friends at Heartland Pride. This year it was no different but something special was lurking on the property they were hunting. The most perfectly symmetrical double drop tine they had ever seen. He wasn't the only target they had but if one of them was to get the opportunity there was no way they were going to let him get by. Follow along on this dream hunt to see who connects with a buck of a lifetime!

Ive been hunting a world class buck in kansas for 3 years now. Ive had 1 encounter in the 3 years. Hes got 3 real big drops. flyers. width, mass, long tines and everuthing you dream of in a whitetail. I just found out hes been injured somehow. Im praying he makes it through, but i knownhes at least 7 this year, so its not likely but you mever know.

Nice buck! I would like to see what it really took to track and find this buck and others you shoot. All of us watching know that you didn't just get down from the stand, walk around the corner and find him there stiffened up a bit. No shame in needing to track one unless one is trying to hide the fact that the shot wasn't that great. For us all watching, knowing shot placement on the animal and the track afterwards is more of the hunt than any story line leading up to it, especially if it wasn't easy. Again, awesome buck!
We gave the buck about 1.5hrs before tracking him. Blood trail was good and he went maybe 200yds from where he was shot. Took about 20min to find him after we started looking. So we found him approximately 2hrs after I shot him. Thanks for watching the video.

The entire hunt was awesome except for the actual footage leading up to and the shot itself. Cut the dramatic music and let it be raw. Kind of ruined the moment. This is not at all a stab at the video but just an honest opinion from a viewer.

I would have to agree, feel like it kind of almost makes it seem like they lack respect for the animal, and are just happy that they are getting a nice rack
I have used both compound and crossbow. If it's a legal weapon I'm all for it now for the nay sayers that say it's cheating using a cross bow need to be using a recurve lol they make me think they are probably folks that look down on people in old worn out clothes 😂

Yeah i agree. I was watching and had no idea the shot was coming. Thought he was out of range or just video of him coming in. Took away from the emotion as a viewer, no build up and no excitement and anticipation of the shot. Edit out the music while coming in, maybe som intense subtle tones leading up to the shot. Just needs to be different during his final scene lol
Unfortunately, where you first saw the deer is not far from where we first saw the deer. So there was not much footage of the deer coming in. We had just gotten in the stand and he snuck up behind us.

A lot of times they are SEEDING that time of year. Just saw some doing it today. Flew right over my car. Use to work and still live in delta of AR and MS.
They also can be spraying to 🔥 down before the cover crop too.

Cinematography is top tier by FAR compared to all others I have seen. Same for that GIANT 8 video. But I have to admit that is the one creative issue that I disagree with and needs improvement. Not needed. Like putting cheddar on a wagu A5
They need to ban those auto ranging bow sights. Takes an aspect of skill away from bow hunting. Nice buck though.

@johnelsberry416 lol he was just sharing his frustration like any bowhunter would have. Never did he say he shouldn't do his job nor does Ty think he is privileged. Ty was taking vacation from his day job to go bowhunt 5-6 days in KS just like any blue collar guy who loves to bowhunt would do. Sharing his thoughts or emotions during a hunt is real. If you don't like it then feel free not to watch!
