    Just geting started planning for my first market. What are those weight things that you held your tent poles down with? Dont believe I have seen them before. Cute items!

    • @alyssag.
      @alyssag.  2 года назад +2

      Thank you!! They are canopy weights, you can find them on amazon, and academy. They didn't work though; my canopy still went flying :( I might need to buy another 4.

      @@alyssag. thanks! Wow, may need to rethink them then ;-)

      yes i’ve seen people use concrete blocks before , or just regular weights and they work so much better in my opinion

    Aaa I've been waiting for another market video! ☺ the quality has improved so much! I used to have trouble hearing you talk but then the music would be too loud. I can't wait to watch you grow even more! 🥰💖🧶

    YAY ANOTHER MARKET VID!!! im planning on doing my first market on july 16. it is a monthly 3rd sat of month thing from may-nov, im went to this months and imma visit next months to just get a feel as i prepare. they provide tents and tables, i just need to buy displays and set up money recieving menthods. ALSO did u pay for a yearly admission and how much was it? How much did u make this time? I want to be prepared for my first tiem and what i shoukd expect.

      Yayy how exciting !! Markets are the best. That’s awesome that they provide tents and tables , that saves you so much space when packing. No you pay per week when you want to go to the market, no yearly admission. I didn’t make much at all less than $300 :( but that’s okay i love doing markets and being able to talk to everyone. 😊😊

    I loved this video so much! I just have a quick question. Do you find glueing the felt eyes on to be sturdy enough for young kids? Because I would love to be able to not sew them. 😂😂

      Thank you so much ! & Yes i do , it’s pretty hard to pull them off , plus it would save you so much time ☺️

      @@alyssag. oh thank goodness!! What eyes are best (and how to apply them) with children seems to be the most divisive thing in the crochet community. Everyone has a way that they think is best and everyone else is wrong; it gets very overwhelming when you don’t have much experience 😭
      So thank you for answering and putting my mind at ease! 💜💜

      of course , and honestly i have no idea to be honest. on most plushies i try to add a washer on the back so the safety eye doesn’t fall off. I do like felt eyes though I feel like they are a bit more secure. 🤗

      @@alyssag. yeah. I usually use safety eyes but people were saying they aren’t good with people under 7. And I just started a whale who is going to be waaaaay too big for them anyway and I am super happy I won’t have to dread sewing the felt eyes on!

    Have you got a link for the eyes? Safety Eyes annoy me & always come out thick wool!
