In other news, I have a Twitch channel! twitch.tv/gexuma I try to stream at least once a week, if not more (although I stopped over Christmas and New Year’s). I mostly play Final Fantasy XIV and a random collection of indie games I find. Come check it out if that interests you!
If I remember it correctly, here is a fun fact: scientists in Stockholm have determined that time travel would be impossible, as due to a physics experiment, they were able to deduce that time only travels forward; the proof involved the fact that due to reasons I forget, the model they created resulted in an oblong shape rather than an orb, which would have otherwise proved that time travels both forward and backward.
@@ApeBlin I mean, yeah... but to play the devil's advocate, we are time traveling to the future, just very slowly... 'Travel', as in nigh instantaneously appearing in the future, however, is still possible in it's old original ways - A) traveling at near the speed of light so that your personal speed slows down or B) going into some sort of stasis and waking up in the future. There are probably other ways, but that's all I can think of, atm.
@@ApeBlin yea but then you couldn't come back and at that point why bother unless your life is that fucked up that you'd rather leave everything behind and go to the future but even then it might be a hellscape shithole etc. or you might not understand anything at all
The outro music is originally from Final Fantasy 4! It’s called “Somewhere in the World” and usually plays when the villains are shown scheming and plotting
this is the best game in the series, if we rank them purely by vibes. this one is eerie, the threat feels real, and the final boss' final phase music is beautiful.
Who's this gexuma guy grayfruit mentioned? They do nice high quality fan-edits of grayfruit vods? Looks like a nice channel, might have to check it out later
Ayyy I get to see more Mario Superstar Saga, wonder if there'll be more beans in this game lol And the sick gray shout-out, complete with cute lil Gexuma edit? I'll post this on the reddits when I wake up tomorrow lol, if nobody already posted it
Fuck, I was so busy these past few days I completely forgot to message yesterday. Uhhh, since we haven't hung out on stream for some time, guess we can catch up a bit here. How youve been doing Gex? How's classes?
Still no classes for a month and a half here (southern hemisphere summer holidays). I'll probably stream shortly actually. I'm pretty good though, I've been running a D&D game! How a re you?
@@Gexuma ayy naisu2, enjoy your sem break, I've been enjoying mine too lol. God the headaches while in class. Did you end up streaming? Google isn't notifying me if so And pogg, that sounds fun. What are the players doing rn in the game? And what sort of setting is it? I have only a surface level knowledge of D&D lol And I've been really damn good actually, I got my finals results and I passed both papers 🥳🥳🥳🥳. So basically popping off rn
@@keiclera6596 I'm glad to hear you passed, well done! I did end up streaming, strange that a notification didn't go through. I'll stream again tomorrow if I have time. Currently we're between segments, but hopefully they'll be going off to rescue a kidnapped engineer soon, who I shamelessly took from FFXIV.
@@Gexuma thank you, it was a gruelling experience, but hey it paid off. And on Tuesday I'll move out to continue the next sem. And kek I'm sure most GMs take a bunch of inspiration from stuff they like. As long as it's fun, why not right? Also I'm down to hang out on stream if you're going to stream in a bit
I went back and played this game 'cuz of this edit, and I gotta say, the progression in this game is... very linear. You go from the castle, to the next area in the past, back to the castle, and repeat ad nauseam. Like, it's not bad, but it's just... boring. There's no fun towns or areas to visit, and not much to break up the monotony between area transitions. This is probably why Superstar Saga and BiS are considered the better games. I still like the plot, conceptually, but, yeah... it could've had a rework.

I love that you're getting more recognition from grayfruit. Good stuff, man/woman/person.

That is indeed an interesting fact!
So in theory you could still time travel to the future?
