I really believe you should put that little black cup on display in a very safe place! Love this video and your sweet family! Fan from Halifax Nova Scotia! ( I’m an Ivy too!)
Hi Kristen and girls, the stone pampered chef piece is called “bar pan” pampered chef had a pumpkin bar recipe that came with the pan. But you can cook anything on it. You can try baking soda and warm water to try and get the markings off.
I run those through the dishwasher a couple of times and most of the yuck will come off, then when you use it, it will be your yuck, and they call it seasoned. I have found a lot of PC at thrift stores, usually at great prices!
Your girls are so adorable! The bar pan is great for brownies and bloodies, the metal sheet pan is great for oven roasting just about anything. Love that cup and it’s history!
You found some great finds!! Your girls are so precious and I love how you include them in your videos and not tell them to be quite! Y’all are such great parents! I Love your channel! Thank you! I look forward to the next one! Many blessings over y’all ❤️
WOW! What an unexpected TREAT! I wasn't expecting to see you and your lovely girls, today. Right off the bat, let me just say YOU make VINTAGE COOL! So glad you got that Two Rivers mug .LOVE that flow black cup! AESOME find! While you guys are having snow, we are in the mid to upper 80's already. Thanks for uploading another great video!
Lots of great finds! The last item you showed, the pampered chef bar pan, is great. I use mine for so many things, I roast chicken, make pizzas, etc. I wouldn’t worry about the scratches, mine had those in the beginning. Just season it with some oil, and you’ll be good to go. I use hot water and the pampered chef scrapers they sell for the stoneware, definitely no soap. I’ve had mine for probably 15 years or more. Hi girls!!
@@Mittenmarket yes that’s what I was told when I first got mine. I use my stoneware a lot. The more you cook on it the more seasoned and darker color it becomes.
Kristen just a heads up. I understand that if there is crazing on anything that might be painted, it can leach lead. Older pieces usually have crazing. I am not 100% sure if lead would be in a very old pieces like that. You can probably research it to get the right answers. I just want to mention it so that you know. I collect old transferware, and had no idea until I saw someone else bring it up on another channel I watch. She bought a lead testing kit, and tested some very old dishes for lead. Some did test positive. I just display mine.
Just a thought - you could use the Ironstone cup for small cut flowers? Maybe ones the girls pick even. I have lots of sizes of vase from large to little bud vases and small glasses that I pop blooms in in spring to create variated height displays. A possible way of using it where it's more visible to look at - and away from falling in the sink and cracking (or is that just what happens in my house with bathroom cups! :)
I’m soo enjoying your back. Hi girls from Texas. Love to see all you thrift and sharing your home, the beautiful snow, your fur baby, and you all! A beautiful family. God bless
I don't know if you know it already, but you can buy new mason jar lids in packs, for each size of the jars. The jars themselves are really resistant, but the lids are considered "consumable" if you like. After a few years of use, especially if you use them for canning and stuff, they begin to rust up and don't hold the seal as well, so you replace the lids. Hope this helps 😊
Such a fun video and so excited to see you early in the week. The pampered chef stoneware pan is great for cooking anything. Wash it with hot water. The darker it is means its seasoned well. So brownies, cookies, homemade baked potato fries or steak fries, anything. Use it you will love it.
I clean all my Pampered Chef stone stuff with Bar Keepers friend for “scratches” like the one on your bar pan. The exception is the one I use to roast veggies - it gets a really nice patina. And, the one I use to bake cookies. I bought the pizza stone but never used it. I prefer the rack which makes them super crispy. Love how you love God and your sweet family. ❤
I smiled through this entire video! You have such a beautiful family! Please tell the girls they did such a wonderful job as your "guest stars"! Precious! I hope you all enjoyed your Snow Day! Btw....that " whisk" was indeed a dough whisk...they are amazing! One of my favorite kitchen tools...and what a bargain you found it for!!! Enjoy! Take care!
Great video! I just watched a cooking video about the patina on cookie sheets. The patina makes it an excellent base for roasting potatoes. The potatoes will brown but not stick to the pan. So the discoloration makes for great cooking.
Your girls are so sweet. I'm glad you include them once in awhile. Pampered chef is good quality. The stoneware pan is a bar pan. I bought one at a party and thrifted a second because I love them. I make bars, homemade pizza and bacon in mine. I also have two of the large heavy metal bar pans. They are great for bars and cookies. Your flow blue cup is so unique.
Hi What an amazing find with the cute cup. Personally, as others have said, I would display it and not use it. If it’s lasted for 180yrs without being broken, then it’d been tragic to have it destroyed now. Your whisk is a danish dough hook and is a great tool for whisking
Your girls are adorable. Thanks for sharing them with us along with your vintage haul. I’ve decided I’m going to start paying more attention to the cups and mugs at the thrift store. You never know what you might find. 😊
I love you videos but this one is so special with your girls. I have one granddaughter and she’s 14 now but I’m so Blessed to have her and her lil brother along with my other (biological grandsons). God is GREAT everyday!
Danish dough whisk, also known as a "brodpisker" in Danish { meaning "bread whipper" } ...only whisk you'll ever wanna use from now on for the rest of your life! Its unique design makes it wrk just like a reg whisk, but more efficiently. And 59 cents is a steal ($6 is really CHEAP for a brand new one!).
Your cookie sheet is like the ones we use at the school cafeteria. They are wonderful and so big that one can get a lot on it. The girls are just beautiful!!!
Cutest family ever!! Ivy walking and talking! So cute! I love the 1st mug. Looks like a fun snow day. Much better than our 6+ days of record setting 90 in February in Florida. blah
The pampered chef stone sheet is a jelly roll pan. It's great for making thinner sponge cake that you can spread a filling on and roll. I make a pumpkin roll every year during the fall season in mine and it turns out "chefs kiss" good. Thanks for sharing your fun haul. Your girls are adorable!
Your daughters are adorable😍😍. Please save that 1842 cup. Put it in a place of honor😍😍. That is a TREASURE for sure and it’s lucky to have survived Goodwill 🤪🤪. You are so lucky to have it💕
Congratulations!!!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰😍 many blessings to you and your family and little bundle of joy!!! Good job mama! You look beautiful as always even labor! 😘
Loved it!! We use tiny glass jars for the kids' everyday cups...and if I need to store something is I can grab one!😂 (ps...there are plastic lid " toppers" that can go on the glass jars that make it like a sippy cup/straw hole and the kids love them on it sometimes too!
I have that pampered chef bar pan, and I use it to make Tandy Cakes. The more seasoned the stone ware gets, the better it is! You and your girls are adorable. 😋
Just want to add that I bake everything on mine. It soaks up the grease and eventually will turn black. Mine is 25 years old. Think cast iron like seasoning. Once the grease seals the stone it will not absorb any more and I just rub off the excess grease with paper towels before storing it.
The Pampered Chef stone is a bar pan. I have one that I really enjoy roasting my veggies on in the oven. I spritz the pan directly with some cooking spray, prepare my veggies & roast them. You can also line the pan with some parchment paper to make clean up even easier. Spritz a little bit of cooking spray directly on the bar pan, tear off the parchment paper to fit the pan. The cooking spray will help the parchment paper lay flat. I spritz the top of the parchment paper with a little more cooking spray & then add my prepared veggies. The beauty of the Pampered Chef stones is that they get that "cooked on patina" that makes the pan even more "teflon like". Your food just doesn't stick the more you use use your stone. Kinda of like cast iron....the more you use it the better.
Now I have to go thrifting again. You girls are beautiful. I have 4 daughters and I miss them at that age. They are all grown up. Love your dog. Precious.
Rosie's facial expressions. 😀Love the shopping portion and seeing your finds. I do know that Pampered Chef is expensive because over the years I've been invited to Pampered Chef parties. I wish I knew what that last heavy piece was.
We love our pampered chef stone wear baking sheets. We use them exclusively instead of metal. Cookies, roasted veggies, meatballs, you name it. Your will become more and more discolored and get a patina as it ages and is used with butter etc. Hope you love it as much as we do ours!
Enjoyed your haul! Such unique items. I’ve iI always wanted a danish whisk but they are quite pricey we. I loved seeing your precious little girls! They grow up way too fast so enjoy them!😘

I have 3 pc stoneware bar pans in various stages of "seasoning". I make bars in them, but mostly I love them for roasting veggies and potatoes in them. I've made dinner rolls and pizzas on them.
It's a Danish dough hook! I just found one at Goodwill. I thought it was a small rug beater! I started seeing it showing up in RUclips cooking channels! So instead of hanging in my laundry room, it now has found a home in my kitchen!
I would put that antique cup in the hutch to preserve it, it's probably valuable. I wouldn't want someone to drop it in the bathroom and break it.
Agree 👍
Yes!!! Use a jelly/mason jar by the sink!
I agree, this beautiful piece has survived 180 years, showcase its beauty in your hutch.
Agree!
Oh my! Yes! Please put that beauty somewhere safe!
It’s a danish dough whisk. Great finds!!
And here I thought it was to slam against rugs to get the dust out and clean them. 🤔
@@arielsea9087- That was my first thought, too! But then I said to myself, Something about the shape is wrong and it’s too small and short.😂
This is one of my favorite kitchen tools ever!! Great find!!
Your girls are so adorable! How blessed you are!
Love the black and white piece. For sure it needs to go somewhere safe.
How beautiful!!!! I was sooooo glad you got the little tea cup, it's incredible!!! I work in a museum & that's beyond a treasure, sooo glad for you!!!
I love it!
Buddy joining the group hug was the cutest thing! He looks so happy to be part of the family.
I really believe you should put that little black cup on display in a very safe place! Love this video and your sweet family!

So lovely to see the girls. When they are adults they will love looking back at your videos. They are learning about the joys of thrifting.
Also, them baaaabies 😭 gosh are they sweet. When she said "hi." behind the paci 😭

I have that pan and you can bake anything you would bake on a cookie sheet. I use it a lot for pretzels, fish, onion rings, chicken, nachos...
You can also use a dry eraser with some water to clean out the scuff marks
Great score!
