    this deck warms my heart, takes me back to my days of drafting born of the gods, and forcing 5 color after opening chromnticore
    yes bestowing chromnitcore in limited is possible, living the dream guys, living the dream

      Nick Beheler That shit was pisssing me off.. I was actually screaming at my monitor. He had two fucking cards and flicking them like a lunatic. You can protect your information and throw your opponent off with minimal shuffling. When you do it as much as Jamie does its just a super annoying nervous tick..

      @@xpimphandx that's exactly what it is, a nervous tick/keeping busy/not even really thinking about it.....the more you play the more I guarantee you notice yourself doing it, cheers!

    @ 18:50 Jamie Parke missed the trigger on the deathmist raptor in his graveyard when he flipped den protector :(

    • @Blazekorp
      @Blazekorp 9 лет назад

      AndyWo91 I also spotted that, but maybe he was having another plan in his mind I guess, but I'd put that on to the battlefield though.

    • @Azoooro
      @Azoooro 9 лет назад +1

      Poyraz Özer Especially after he chose not to put it in his Hand after revealing it with the Commune. I was wondering why, then I saw the Den Protector and it made sense, because he could cast it for free from the grave. I don't know what could've changed his mind, probably only an oversight.

    • @yieldmotherculture
      @yieldmotherculture 9 лет назад +1

      AndyWo91 I saw this, and I think it might have been intentional. He had a good board presence that lost to Ugin. Leaving it in the graveyard allows it to be returned later or to be delved by Soulflayer.

      AndyWo91 I noticed that but he did that I'm pretty sure to give death touch to an upcoming soulflayer

    @38:14 Urborg is on the battlefield. "Does he have enough black? Does he have four black? One two, yeah I think he does; yeah, with the Caryatid he does."
    Why are they even counting?

    • @ethansummer5555
      @ethansummer5555 9 лет назад +2

      hippojump While in the booth, it is hard to see the cards and remember everything that is being played while giving commentary. I think you should consider this before treating them like idiots

    • @dt35591
      @dt35591 9 лет назад +1

      hippojump They notice Urborg on the table literally 20 seconds after looking for the black mana. So you either paused the video immediately to point out this ridiculously minor mistake by the commentary team or you heard them acknowledge it and ignored it in your rush to post yet another shitty RUclips comment. Well done dick nose.

    • @ethansummer5555
      @ethansummer5555 9 лет назад

      dt35591
      I heard them say that they found it but while commentating, it is pretty hard to keep track of and remember everything. yet again, another ignorant and rude RUclips Comment. I hope you realize you aren't a booth person so you aren't able to criticize because you don't know how hard it is to know what is going on as well as keeping track of other things going on in the tourney. It is easy for you to notice it because all you are doing is just sitting at your computer staring at the screen.

    I can't find the actual submitted decklist Jamie Parke used, but the deckbuilder Zvi Mowshowitz wrote about Chromantiflayer on Channelfireball.

    I enjoy Soulflayer/Chromanticore/random discarded God card/Gurmag Swiftwing/Typhoid Rats/Silumgar...... Flying, Lifelink, First Strike, Vigilance, Trample, Deathtouch, Haste, Indestructible, Hexproof... only pulled it off once and everyone shit themselves :D

    It bugs me a lot that Baneslayer Angel is the same cmc, monowhite, and almost as many abilities plus being bigger. At least give Chromanticore shroud to make it worth the 5-color commitment so it doesn't just die. Also, no deathtouch or haste?

      Chandler Huffman Yes it is indeed. Some U/B Control lists are running 2, even if drawing both is terrible, just because it's that good.

    at minute 43, seth should have used elspeth minus 3 eff, in order to destroy his own atarka in order to get it back with whip next turn....

    • @nikeolympus9248

      Super late reply, but Whip specifically says "if it were to leave the battlefield exile it instead." so that people can't do things like that lol.

    Torrent elemental+prophet of cruphix=a bad situation

    • @thursdaynightcrank
      @thursdaynightcrank 9 лет назад

      How does that alone change the game at all besides untapping torrent elemental

    • @gameninja44
      @gameninja44 9 лет назад

      You can basically swing with unblockables at someone. The reason going all out with torrent elemental isn't always the best idea is because you wouldn't have blockers. This way, you can go for an all out attack, and have blockers next turn.

    • @thursdaynightcrank
      @thursdaynightcrank 9 лет назад

      if you're swinging with torrent elemental you've most likely put yourself in a position where you're able to take damage anyways..

    • @gameninja44
      @gameninja44 9 лет назад

      Thats my point. Using Prophet to untap everything which means you have all of your blockers ready for next turn after an all out attack.
