ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

Holt was, with a doubt, the best character in this show, and the dynamic between him and Wuntch was one of my favorite story lines. Andre Braugher has some of the best deliveries I have ever seen in cinema. The man was a legend.
I love the idea that a plain bagel is so exotic for Holt that it's what he buys when his most hated enemy finally dies.
i had the privilege to outlive my enemy . he was a nasty person he would manipulate people and when that failed to work he turned to violence . he was at one time my best friend but he made my life hell because i noticed how toxic he was and cut him out he didn't take to well to that and started stalking not only me but my family . i found out last week he died something went wrong with his chest i never caught the end of the story because i was to busy fist bumping the air and sticking my fingers up and the ground while chanting " i outlived you bitch" when we where friends we would hang out on the weekend and watch the new family guy or American dad episodes get drunk and eat cheese toasties with homemade bread . the day i found out i made my own bread got some kick ass cheese from the farm shop and made the best toastie i have ever had .sometimes the most basic thing can be the most amazing

This has to be the best moment out of all the 99 moments. The way he says "For a redwood tree" has me actually laughing out loud. So many insults in just 2 minutes. It's absolutely amazing!

@@nikhilkripalani389 it’s kinda complicated but essentially she’s his arch nemesis, and was also the reason why he got demoted from captain to patrol. I mean they hated each other, so much so that even In death she tried to destroy him. She forced him to arrange her funeral and give a speech, knowing he wouldn’t be able to _not_ say bad things.

I miss this show, it was so good
The one big problem I have with her death is they NEVER EXPLAINED HOW SHE DIED!!!!
I suspect something like cancer. It couldn't have been sudden. She had enough time to plan her funeral and the sting, record the message and rope her nephew in.
Although I liked aspects of this episode, it just felt a little 'off'.
