My brother has a set that he uses every year to go from Brisbane to Malaysia for the last 5 years and his has held up so far. Just because it broke on you doesn't mean its trash
This is actually a really good review of American Tourister. This case clearly has impact damage and from a decent height hence the cracking, but it kept your belongings inside the case which is a good thing. Whatever the story is with the case being 'dropped' if it was used for transporting your personal belongings American Tourister has a warranty and will most likely replace it. If I were you I would be thinking if it hadn't been an American Tourista would I have lost everything in the case when it was damaged.
This form of luggage was made from ABS plastic, which is cheaper, heavier and not as long lasting as polycarbonate. Polycarb does cost more, but gives you a bigger peace of mind knowing that you will see your luggage on the carousel in one piece. You could also get aluminum, but be ready to sacrifice your first born for that!!!
Can’t believe it. Was going to buy some of these. Was thinking of whether to get soft or hard. Literally the only brand avl here that is American and less expensive than the really expensive ones.
They should call it American Garbage 😅 Thanks for posting 📫 bc I was considering it. I bought Caribee Luggage 🧳 and did 2 huge 2×2 month big trips/pilgrimages around Europe and half way through the 2nd one, one of the wheels 🛞 broke in Rome..... Unfortunately, everything is weak and garbage now but soooooooo expensive. I was in twice in 2013 and 2016 and loved it and loved the beautiful peoples that live there...... Let us know what new Luggage 🧳 you buy and how you go with it. God bless you 😇 🙏 bro.
Clearly this luggage was dropped with substantial force. I have been using two AT Cargo Max luggage all over Thailland and the Philippines...on escalators, terminal pickups, trikes, tuktuks, taxis, ferries...on lots of uneven concrete and only have a few minor scratches. The ABS seems to hold up. This doesn't look like everyday travel wear and tear...just sayin....

How is this positive? The case is ABS shit, that's why it broke in the first place.
It is broken because of ABS. You schould buy polypropylen luggage. It is softer any lighter.
It is made to protect. Not to be protected. Better put your american tourister luggage inside a luggage. 😅

Good information
this is actually Polypropylene, even worse than ABS
@@Xia-hu polypropylene in better than polycarbonate or abs.
Been having ATs for years and it worked fine. The first case is more than 12 years already.
What did you do? Drop it from a balcony?

Maybe his luggage was a bootleg one and not the real one!
Omg He was using his suitcase as a table for 3 months 🤪 maybe that’s why it was broken 😂
It was broken before that 😅
This is abs material bro this one bag all so old modal now a days good quality America tourister
Well, you just saved my money. I added it to my basket and decided to check some reviews. I am not buying it. Thanks!
thanks for sharing bro!
I just buy and just watch this video 😭😭
😂
I agree. The handle and wheels on my 3 pc set disintegrated. This happened while travelling so it was such a hassle. Never again to American Tourister
but Tourister is co-owned by Samsonite
mine lasted me years!
That doesn't say anything to be honest.
What model is this?
American tourister
@@betweenshifts3751 i know the luggage company i asked what “model” of American tourister
It is American tourister - Crystal Glow, 100% ABS - the worst possible material for luggage. Always choose polycarbonate or polypropylene.
Clain the guarantee
