Your the best and I whole heartedly thank my primary teacher Mr. Jacksons cause everything here relates to what he taught me back then. Thank you Kevin
I see you haven’t posted really recently, but I wanted to thank you. Despite having a considerable IQ, when I was a straight A student in school, my family moved one block over, and I was bussed to the worst school in our city. While I was beginning into punctuation, and so my punctuation has never been good. I learned more in one day watching your videos than a year in the English class of my last school. You are an awesome English teacher. Hope you are teaching somewhere.
Thanks again, Troy! (I saw this comment after your other one for some reason.) We have more videos in the works; it just takes us a while to churn them out these days. And yes, I *am* teaching somewhere currently--and I love it!
so complex need to have a dependent and complex part nice. what i understand is that complex need to have a part that can be a simple sentance on its own and another part that doesnt make sense purely by it self. nice video
Thank you! The closest thing to a quiz would be the 10 practice sentences in the description section below the video. Beyond that, I'm sure there are countless online quizzes or digital worksheets out there if you're willing to look!
If you wouldn’t mind me asking you one more question? If someone has a name say like M which is also a nickname is it supposed to have quotation marks or not? And If it’s a character in a book would there be any exceptions to that?
Ask away! This may be a lame answer, but most of that is a style-based decision; there's no hard and fast rule--especially in a novel or something, where authors break grammar rules all the time for effect and aesthetics. (If it were me, though, I wouldn't use quotation marks.)
fainnely i understand the lesson thank u you are the best teacher ever

@@kspaans Thanks again! I wish I would have had a teacher like you when I was in school. I was long before “No Child Left Behind!” 🤷🏻♂️

What sentence types would you like to see covered in a "part 2"?
