but this is better than 95% of Gov. jobs, don't compare it with a private job in which you can buy a mercedes or a luxuary house but in gov jobs your get sufficient salary govt doesn't provide a luxury life it give you the opportunity for do public service and live a decent life,
RBI grade B is way better than many private jobs..you will only get high packages in private but most of them are highly inflated CTCs the real net salary is completely different. At the peace of security and recognition cannot be compared to any private jobs..not even top management consultants or investment bankers.

Explain how? A monthly SIP of 30k in mutual fund(s) with an estimated rate of return of 12% (pa) will net you 1cr+ in 13 years. This is assuming you don't go for a step-up SIP. A Grade B officer will be easily able to save 30k/month for SIP (even more with increment and promotions and even if he/she has family obligations, given the perks and salary). Apart from that, he/she'll also be contributing to NPS, adding to his/her corpus. It's true that there are better paying jobs in private sector and the same corpus can be achieved quicker there, but don't share exaggerated claims. For some, security and stability in job, while being paid handsomely as per Indian standards, is enough.
@@ashankrudola968512%??? Even me as an aspirant is generating 30%+/Annum. RBI officer can easily generate 50% with his knowledge base plus early info that RBI officer gets can also help him to generate even more than 100%. He can even do option trading with ease as he has advantage of early news. He will always be ahead of others.
Agreed on Finance part being plain memory based. I'm CA Final student (only 3 papers remaining). I thought I'll rock Finance with my knowledge. But no, too much cramming of raw facts is required. No concept requirements. But not agree that UPSC is concept based. Facy is UPSC is also plain memory based exam, it is no where close to IITs
@@jennyjames2673 No l, was preparing for UPSC exam. Gave just 1 shot at RBI. That GA cramming is too much. Also, if you couldn't clear any one stage, your career cycle is messed up for another year. Different companies, few shortlists, multiple assignments, multiple rounds and then you are selected. Career break is too a concern. Also, In stage 2, they ask GA through passage-paragraphs. It's a trap with hardly any value addition to your skillset. If you are in banking, prepare for some NISM certification exams. They give you a certificate and you will have some jobs (equity analyst) through it.
