- Here's my latest AMV for the web series phenomenon RWBY with the new version of "Red Like Roses" by Jeff Williams. Would have made this sooner but work commitments keep getting in the way. Hope you enjoy!

Out of all the weapons in the show, I want the scythe the most. I get a huge grin on my face when I think of myself doing those moves with one :D

It's got nothing to do with Jaune and Pyrrah. The song about them is Cold.

I love how almost every explosion or hit is timed with the violin and guitar starting at 4:17 and ending at 4:30

I do know that is is an AMV, and I do know what that entails, but still think that little aspect from an MMV would have been awesome.

Andrew Childs we're just tired of these weaboo freaks saying shit isn't anime just because an Asian person didn't make it. DreamerStarlight Not exactly true, I cut together the two versions of the song that were released at the time and made it into an extended version. At the time I made this the album version was not yet released. I definitely prefer it with the buildup!

manny dani There are a few out there now who have used scenes from the episodes, although I think I was one of the first! Oh I love Nora! She has to be one of my all time favourite characters to date :) We need to see way more of team JNPR in general I'd say!

It's officially a headcanon for me that Ruby is a sick guitarist, that Weiss and Blake are great singers and that Yang used to be a good drummer.
the only thing I have against it is that this is just the one verse on repeat and that we never get to hear Summers response to Ruby's out cry. Which gives the whole song an extremely deep meaning.

people say this song is a conversation between summer and ruby rose. But Ruby would not have been old enough to remember Summer when she died. Yang on the other hand does and is what led to her search for her own mother. This is why I think this more about Yang and Summer leaving her or her birth mother
Why do you think Summer is dead?Sorry if I haven't heard elsewhere but I'm sure she's alive, just missing, the song implies death but I found a song online about how to get a date and I'd be lying if I said it was useful.
Blackmist Khan I have to agree it's unclear who the song is accurately representing, I'm honestly torn between the two interpretations of the lyrics.
The Silent Never-Turner It has been referenced in lore and by the writers of the show in the past that Summer went on a mission and 'never came back' presumably died. It is referenced in the original Red trailer where a tombstone is seen with the inscription "Summer Rose / Thus Kindly I Scatter"

John Green During season two, I was introducing RWY to my friend, and he said the person who saved yang, the one with all the Dust blades was Yang's/Ruby's mom. I never thought of that.

Thanks! :) Yes this is my own edit of Red Like Roses II I cut together two version of the track that were available at the time, before the official soundtrack was out to purchase.

+Stellacept Tekai We know her 15th was before Volume 1, V1-3 took place over 2 semesters or so. Then it changed from Fall to Winter before the end of Volume 3 and was confirmed 6-8 months have passed between then and Volume 4. So we can safely assume that AT LEAST one year has passed. So yeah, she's 16; maybe even close to 17.
Michael Pineda shes still under aged was 15 before beacon tower fell and the recent season is only a few months later. so no, you can't.
