big shoutouts to ALAKTORN for once again assisting with getting laps 1 and 4 specifically into low enough digits for this tas :D
this is the first time ever that Light Tripper has been used for a BKT in this game as far as i can tell (aside from Test Circle), the kart is 2 frames short of being able to keep PRB but it can still keep speed up with minimal deceleration as long as you charge+release miniturbos frame perfectly, and this kart's ultimate trump card is the ability to drift absurdly sharp, which we abused to the fullest extent here :D
lap 2 is a .283 which is unfortunately .001 off the perfect timer digit, i spent an entire hour trying my hardest to break past it but none of the changes seemingly made it any faster, primarily because MT timing releases shift about 1-2 frames forward each lap which means that the turn approach each lap is entirely different, lap 3 ended up being a smooth .282 with .27 potential but not enough to hit .266, and subsequently lap 4 timings become extremely hard to manage which is why it took an extra day to lower it from .316 to .299 and why it physically cannot go to .282
shroom lap is genuinely insane because on the run before this (41.659) my best shroom was a 8.156, and this one casually breaks PRB God standard :D
Egg 1 will likely still be slightly faster if TASed to perfection but i wanted to give this kart the spotlight just for being able to completely outpace Rupa's Dry Bomber TAS (41.626)

​@@Scrat-rs5udi did a 24.6 lap, thing is the kart shares miniturbo frames with standard rob but is also just a lot slower with top speed comparable to dry bomber so past the lap 1 i did i really dont find it quite interesting enough, i might just upload the lap 1 though

they should make the BETTER and modern drift required for VS, all online, and grand prix but they should have the option for time trials and battle mode.

I swear Mario Kart DS is the main reason my carpal tunnel is worse in my left hand than my right. I already do a lot of hobbies that basically guarantee repetitive stress/carpal tunnel like playing instruments, gaming, drawing, etc. But I just know all my hundreds of hours on Mario Kart DS has fucked up my left hand, my thumb especially, in an irreparable way. I tried to play Mario Kart DS again the other day cause it's been in my recommends lately, and my ass could NOT snake for more than 3 seconds before having to put my DS down and saying "yeah, no, how the fuck did I do that as a kid?" 😩

This is awesome. I hadn't realized how good this kart's drift would be on this track.
