This guy is insane. I love it. One of THE best reviews I've ever seen, I knew what I needed to know after a minute and a half, then he kept talking about tests that gave me bad, bad ideas for the future.
Shit when I bought it, 5 years ago I used maybe 5 tanks, now as times get tough gotta save money wherever, bought some tanks, co2 comes outta everywhere except where it’s supposed too.
My experience has been similar. I've had this SodaStream for about four years. Over time I got fewer and fewer bottles with one canister, down now to about 12. I may replace it with the low-cost one, though definitely prefer the solid feel and easy operation of this one.
@@behler100 you should get an adapter for use with a larger generic tank. I use a 5 pound tank with mine and it lasts for a couple hundred fills, and only costs 20$ to refill.
@@cuarajhyrojayju4397 you can get them on Amazon, but they're probably the same as the 15$ AliExpress ones. Just search sodasteam adapter. Make sure to get one for connecting the tank to the SodaStream and not for connecting the tank to the cylinder.
Wish you would put a warning on this video. The soda stream company specifically states to not carbonate anything other then water. Your "blooper" shows how dangerous it is to not follow the directions.
BestReviews the manual for this product says to not carbonate anything other than plain water. And it’s written in all caps with a warning symbol next to it.
What happens with the CO2 canisters when empty? Are they recyclable? Do we return them somewhere to be refilled?
We're glad you asked! You can schedule an exchange here: sodastream.com/pages/get-a-refill
You can also exchange them at most Walmart's for 12-14 bucks
@@coreyharrell9079 Thanks Corey for the insight!

will all soda stream bottles work for Kitchen Aid?
I like the pressure gauge.
Can I use any kind of bottle with this sodastream?
No
thank you!
Any suggestions for a source for cheap soda syrup other than manufacturers like coke-Pepsi etc? Dang one source works to $1.56 per 1l serving.
Interesting video....lots presented I didn’t expect.
Thanks
Did they stop making these?
Great explanations ty.

first attempt reminded me of Tesla first testing rockets :)
I went to buy one of these, and they are discontinued 😢 Cost more, but heavier duty - would rather have had this than Sodastream.
Not really.
Is this American made?
Yes, in Ohio
Bu does it make the fart sound?
You won't be able to fill 60 of those with one canister. It's more like 20-30.

Thanks for info. Your sound control needs work.

Actually, the KitchenAid Soda stream is known for its ability to carbonate every liquid. Most other soda makers permit only water to be carbonated.
