Loved this week’s content. Especially the beginning. Refreshing to hear a young woman reject societal expectations of what beauty standards should be. Proud to see that you are a woman who values herself according to your beliefs. We need more of that for younger women, and us older gals, to strive for. Authenticity and self acceptance. Remember that the media and beauty industry gets rich on making us feel insecure. Proud of you.😊 Bravo.
omg thank you so much for this comment!🥹💜 I'm so happy that you liked what I talked about since it can be difficult to talk about insecurities and other problems, but these kinds of messages make me feel more comfortable and confident in speaking about them in my videos, so thank you for that🥰 big hugs to you!!
@@birtahlin you’re doing great work. Your content has meaning and that’s important. If you can speak to a woman way past her 20’s then you’re doing great. Looking forward to more of your content. 🤓
Thanks, Birta, for your reflection about how especial we are individually. We don't need nobody's approval. We need to like ourselves only. We are fortunately in a different time!💜💜💜
You are so right about the beauty standards and the insecurities they bring. As a girl with big boobs, I really wish I had smaller so that I could be wearing nice backless tops and dresses. It is what it is and we should accept and love ourselves just the way we are, always trying to improve of course but in a natural way. Thanks for the video! Love from Greece 🇬🇷
thank you for sharing!💗 we always want something that we don't have, I think that is just human DNA. We have to help each other to accept and love ourselves by sharing our stories and experiences🥰 lots of love to you sweetie✨
I have another perspective I'd like to share: I have always had thin lips, and for a long time I would put my hand covering my mouth to smile or laugh. When I began watching your channel I immediately thought "she has a similar mouth shape, and look at her self confidence and how beautiful she is, putting it out there on these public forums!" It helped me so much, and I am 57 years old. We can always feel better about ourselves at any age, thank you! xoxo
I could not resonate more with the beginning and how the beauty standards are so obscure these days! You really are so beautiful naturally and it’s good to see that you know that and embrace it as well!
I agree with you 100%.If we all get fillers and other stuff done we will look exactly the same, which will be so boring. Also the beauty standars put in place are ridiculous and only take away from us being unique. It's so often that people are beautiful not in their looks but how they are, their personality, the way they talk ❤ Don't mind that person's comment, she's just insecure herself and is having a bad day. You're beautiful and keep shining bright Birta!☀️💛
aww Grete, you are just the sweetest🩷 I agree with everything you wrote! We all need to help each other to share more positivity and love throughout the world✨ big hugs to you xx
people are projecting their insecurities on other people they feel inferior/jealous of. you’re handling it soo well! i used to my big lips bc i used to get bullied bc of it but now i embrace it and it’s the same ppl bullying me getting lip fillers now😅 how the tables have turned 🫶🏾
Thank you Birta !! I love everything you said about beauty strandards! I'm often annoyed by influencers who have lip fillers or botox who always say " I'm not against it, If lip fillers make you happy, do it " and everyone seems to be okay with not having an opinion about this subject and normalizing this! It's so contradictory because the truth is, that no one does it to make them feel happy it's simply because they want to fit in the ridiculous beauty standards and believe that by doing this they will feel beautiful. I feel like it's so important that influencers or people who have a large audience need to remind people that we should stop changing ourselves for the eyes of others. I'm 30 years old and have had the same insicurities as you, but now realize that it's such a waste of time being obsessed over the things that we think are not "normal" or beautiful because we have the power to not accept these standards and and see beauty in the uniqueness of who we are!
yes we all need to start embracing our natural beauty because everybody is unique in their own way and it's a waste to be constantly beating ourselves up because we don't look this or that way🥹 big hugs to you xx
Loved your perspective at the beginning of the video! It is great to hear a young girl address these issues in such a respectful way. I really enjoy your channel. I am 56 yrs. old, but from Denmark (currently living in Portugal) so when I miss Copenhagen I love watching your content. I also have a similar style aesthetic so it's fun to see what you are "thrifting" or wearing in general.

Honestly it is so refreshing seeing different types of beauty and unique people who own their features with confidence. I agree with everything you said about the beauty standards and honestly that person is definitely insecure and hurting inside. People who love themselves spread love ❤️ Also someone's personality can make or break their looks too, I believe that. There's nothing wrong with plastic surgery and fillers as long as someone does it for the right reasons ❤
You should not get plastic surgery, Birta. You are perfect and have a great personality. I love your channel because you are a very positive person. Thank you.
Birta, a very known girl in my town died 2 days ago after a liposuction surgery, everyone used to say that she had big tighs, so she decided to remove fat from her legs. Unfortunatly, she didnt survive the procedure, she was 28 (similar age to ours). It's so sad how beauty standards get to us in such deep ways, that makes us do dangerous things to look perfect to society. The point is: it's never enough, people will always point something they don't like or approve. If you feel insucure about something in your body, it's your choice to live with it or not. I had the worst insecurity with my yellow teeth, so I decided to get them professionaly whitening and I love it! Nobody even realize I did it. That was a major step for me, because I was scared to look very artificial. You do you Birta. I got ya!
That’s heartbreaking to hear!!💔 It's a sad reminder of how societal beauty standards can affect people😢 Your message is really powerful and it’s inspiring that you found a way to address your own insecurity in a way that felt right for you🩷 Thank you for sharing! lots of love xx

I love that you have sent this message out there to shout out about self acceptance. I have never watched any of your videos and thought you had small lips, I think you are absolutely beautiful inside and out just the way you are, both you and Helge. When I was 18, I had a nose job because I was so insecure and got comments about my nose all throughout school which I let get to me. I don't regret the decision as I understand now why I did it and I do like my nose now, but I can tell you it never fixed my insecurities. The nose changed, but I stayed the same. Then I focussed on other flaws. I had to do a lot of inner work for that to change and, eventually, it did. I wish I had had your strength of character and wisdom at that time in my life, but I had to learn the long way. Now I know I was always beautiful. Your videos bring me so much joy! Thank you. Keep going, gorgeous girl! 😍xx

You are so right re the comment.Dont ever let a comment like that affect you.If you can't be considered beautiful without plumped up (mostly injected) lips its laughable and ridiculous. As someone else commented it is so refreshing to hear your response.
Honestly, it was your appearance what made me start watching your videos, because I felt like I could finally relate. I realized it is possible to be incredibly gorgeous without some specific beauty features that have been considered for ages “pretty” or “sexy”. Plus, your content is cool! Very inspiring! Greetings from Spain 🇪🇸
I am sorry to hear about that comment. For what it is worth, I appreciate you calling out today's bizarre beauty standards and being transparent about your insecurities, I know that is not easy to do. You're so beautiful!
I know it shouldn't be the most important thing to tell a woman/girl that she is pretty - there is so much more - but still I have to say that I think you are such a natural beauty and find your style totally aesthetic and inspiring. I find you totally likeable and enjoy watching your videos. Please keep it up and don't let mean people drag you down.😊
The intro is soooo wholesome ! I really enjoyed this video and thank you for using your platform to share a positive message through sharing your insecurities 💮💮💮💮
Birta you are wise beyond your years. It's such a pity when women tear each other down. Your beauty shines through and your message is so powerful to all women. We need to love ourselves first. It's so ingrained in our world to seek perfection which is exhausting. One thing I know for sure is that nature heals so less time on computers and more time in nature is what I strive for...but I do love watching your videos. 🌱🦌❤
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment, I really appreciate your kind words♥️ I agree with you, embracing selflove and spending more time in nature are indeed powerful ways to find balance in our hectic world🌷 I'm grateful to have you as part of our community♥️ hugs & kisses

Your make this statement about beauty standards soo beautifully summed up! Thank you. You made my own fears less visible, I'm more strong from this moment 💗
You are adorable just as you are, it’s ridiculous that people think they need huge lips and huge….everything! You keep embracing your confidence! Only insecure people need toe negative to others
aww that makes me so happy!💗 I want to be as personal as possible with you, and it makes me so happy that talking about topics like these inspire and/or help people✨ lots of love xx
Oh Birta, you are so divinely beautiful as you are. I can’t imagine you with lip filler, and I’m so glad you spoke as you did. You were also very respectful and caring to not show the name of the poor person who criticised you. What a wonderful young woman you are!
Loved your words in the beginning. I feel the same girl! Why are women always put under so much pressure by society to conform to an ideal of beauty? I think individuality and authenticity are beautiful. So stay the way you are ♥️ Sending Love from Vienna
aww that makes me so happy!💗 I want to be as personal as possible with you, and it makes me so happy that talking about topics like these inspire and/or help people✨ lots of love xx
So strong and right words in the beginning of the video! It is so sad that some people are trying to give you a bad feeling or feeling wrong just you look the way you naturally look. You look absolutely stunning and I love your style ☺️ Greetings from Germany 💕
Really love your videos!❤❤ You are absolutely right about the beauty standards. It is sad that everyone has to comment on the others. Thank you for bringing this topic up. ❤
it's really cool looking forward to your videos weekly! i feel good watching your videos, birta, it's comfortable and i really enjoy following you. i hope your week is great. a lot of love! ;)
I admire how you talked about your insecurities at the beginning of the video, it made me feel like we are just two friends chatting about self acceptance. For me actually, it was the opposite. I have big boobs and I always thought I needed to cover them as they were so revealing. I thought having big boobs was making me more visible to other people and that was something to be ashamed of. But now I’m a grown up woman and I like my appearance and don’t want to change anything about myself. It’s just the way I am and as you said it makes all of us unique in our own way🌹 thank you for bringing this up! Hope you can have more videos in the future about these kind of small talks with us💐 lots of love from Istanbul🌻
Birta, all of the wonderful comments have summed up my feelings about the beauty industry and it's toxicity, but I still feel compelled to tell you how proud I am of you. You are inspiring in so many ways, and this is just another to add to the list 💕One of the things I adore about you is your natural beauty, and it's helped me rediscover some of the things I find about my natural self beautiful. You are incredible the way you are, and one of the most incredible things about you is the way your authentic self makes us feel more connected to our authentic selves. 💕 I don't mean to be too deep (sorry for the sap) but you really are such a gift to all of us who have been following along. thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🤗💕
I just found you. From the beginning I just know that you are that kind of person with a lot of self confidence.l You both really make a very good couple and the vibes you transmit are unique. Hope to see more videos from you and happy weekend!
of course!!💗 I want to be as personal with you guys and everybody is struggling with their own problems and if I'm able to help in some way, then I want to try to do that🥹✨ big hugs xx
I think people are where they are so I find compassion for others helps me let it go…and I say out loud…”bless them & continue to heal me”! Today, like you, I practice radical self love and hope with all my heart that others catch what I have if I continue to show them love!! You are such a beautiful soul & I very much enjoy you & your partner’s wonderful life you so generously share with all of us! Thank you
Hey Birta this video was very refreshing to see. I have also struggled with my self image in the past and still do sometimes so it’s nice hearing someone else reflecting on their journey. I’ve always had small lips and as a teenager it really bothered me but now im learning to accept myself for who I am because these standards are just crazy. Who says you have to look a certain way to be beautiful.
it makes me so happy that my "insecurity talk" helped a bit💗 the beauty standards are getting crazy nowadays so we need to spread more love and positivity to the world✨ big hugs to you xx
thank you for this meaningful and very well put insecurities talk 💙💛 you are such a beauty, you actually look alike my beautiful mother, and I love your work and personnalité xxxx
of course!!💗 I want to be as personal with you guys and everybody is struggling with their own problems and if I'm able to help in some way, then I want to try to do that🥹✨ big hugs xx
You're one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen! People who are pointing on some physical qualities judging you are so unsure about their own look... They look miserable writing some unpleasant things hiding under their little phone screen .... Big hi and hug from Saint-Petersburg
I highly agree with you Birta on your opinion of beauty standards nowadays!! It's so important that you talk about this in public I think! I have a younger sister who is gen Z and was all cought up in thin Instagram beauty standard world... it's just toxic and destroying self-esteem. So big thanks and appreciation for you to stand up! :)
thank you for sharing Birta 🤍 I can relate, but we are all so beautiful as our selves 💕💕 also, the trip to the deer park looked sooo fun! you had me laughing out loud haha
Thank you for everything you had to say about beauty standards. And for your vulnerability! I have always loved your lips!!!! And remember when I watched you for the first time and went wow she is gorgeous ! And I love her lips!!! I I thought to myself I really hope she never feels pressure to chnage anything based on lip trends etc etc. And honestly respect you so so much for coming to a place of acceptance. It encourages me to do the same with my insecurities! (My teeth!!) It is also crazy how much lip fillers have become a thing. I can’t go on Pinterest without seeing girls with lip filler or bigger lips! (Yes bigger lips are beautiful and so are smaller ones!!!!) And honestly these beauty standards affect my mental health and makes me more and more insecure! It has totally messed with my brain! You are also absolutely right. Your lips are what makes you unique and so so beautiful! Who wants to look like everyone else???? Thank you for being such an inspiration!
I really appreciate how it looks very windy outside in the park, but we cannot hear it at all, and the voice is crystal clear! Great microphone! 👏Also, I believe that Atelier September recently opened a new café in Nyhavn?!
Just discovered your RUclips channel and I'm obsessed. Love your contents, you are so relaxing. You and Helgi are such a beautiful couple. Just want to share, Love from Italy!
As a big boobs girlie, it so hard to find a shirts and the back pains is real 😅 and most importantly if we do enough exploring we will definitely find the best way to dress ourselves and do our makeup to enhance our facial features , so yess all body and all faces are unique 😊😊
I can ENTIRELY relate to what you've said at the beginning of the video - beauty standards really are still SO messed up!😒And social media kinda has taken its toll on that too, which can be very hard for younger girls I think.. Like I don't even get how there can be a 'standard' to something so individual, unique and diverse. I feel like lots of us have been brought up in a way which at some point always points out 'flaws' or 'imperfections' which then created massive insecurities, well at least that's what I experienced. My biggest insecurities in my teenage years were my small boobs and my big nose. While I couldn't be happier with my small boobs now my nose sometimes bothers me but somehow I think I'd never change anything about it as I am too scared I won't look like myself anymore, haha.😂 Can anyone relate to that? The older I get the more I feel comfortable with who I am and what I look like and honestly, people who don't really 'fit in' those stupid standards are often the prettiest for me after all. I just hope everyone finds a way to love themselves; my grandma always says that there is always that one person who would love to have the same hair, eyes, lips, figure - WHATEVER - even though you might not like this certain thing. You're so beautiful just the way you are, Birta, and so is everyone else, too!!💗
oh you are SO sweet!!! thank you for this comment♥️♥️♥️ I couldn't agree more with you!! It's so good to hear your perspective and I appreciate you opening up about your own journey🥰 Embracing our uniqueness is a powerful journey and your grandma's wisdom is truly heartening🥹 You're beautiful just as you are, and I hope everyone finds that selflove too♥️ Hugs & kisses
Birta, thank you so much for what you've said in the beginning and I'm glad to hear the influencer who is so down to earth. I also have my insecurities, especially my long nose and it's probably because of looking at pretty girls on instagram. But my partner convinced me that my nose is piece of my beauty and I shouldn't change it. And I also have small boobs and maybe they don't look great in all clothes, but I love them because it's so convenient to have small boobs. It's so nice to see someone natural like you, honestly I'm tired of same-looking girls :(
Lots of girls and up been the same, with the same fish mouth and the same way of acting and speech, i am proud for my decisition to grow older as the original me, i love my image!!! The unique beauty who came inside is the real thing😊
My dear, you are so beautiful and unique...and very wise. Each woman has something to offer the world and we should all embrace who we are and support one another in love ❤❤

I know it shouldn't be the most important thing to tell a woman/girl that she is pretty - there is so much more - but still I have to say that I think you are such a natural beauty and find your style totally aesthetic and inspiring. I find you totally likeable and enjoy watching your videos. Please keep it up and don't let mean people drag you down.😊
aww Julia you just made my day!🥹✨ thank you so much for your love and kindness, it means a lot🩵
The intro is soooo wholesome ! I really enjoyed this video and thank you for using your platform to share a positive message through sharing your insecurities 💮💮💮💮
so glad that you liked my thoughts on this matter🥺💗 big hugs to you sweetie xx
You have absolutely right, it's so important to love ourself and the way that we are !!
Thank you for being the way you are and honest all the time even in front of camera,
which makes me feel nobody's perfect. But truth is the way you are looks perfect for me.
Can't wait next video as always. Love from Japan🌸🇯🇵
aww you are just the sweetest!🥹💕 big hugs to Japan xx
that talk about insecurities was so important and so true, thank you Birta

Your make this statement about beauty standards soo beautifully summed up! Thank you. You made my own fears less visible, I'm more strong from this moment 💗
omg this makes me so happy!!💗 lots of love to you sweetheart xx
You are adorable just as you are, it’s ridiculous that people think they need huge lips and huge….everything! You keep embracing your confidence! Only insecure people need toe negative to others
Love how you react to these comments, it’s a really important topic. You inspire me Birta! 🌷
aww that makes me so happy!💗 I want to be as personal as possible with you, and it makes me so happy that talking about topics like these inspire and/or help people✨ lots of love xx

Thank you so much for talking about this Birta, you don't know how perfect the timing is for me and I really appreciate it! ❤
aww that makes me so happy!💗 I want to be as personal as possible with you, and it makes me so happy that talking about topics like these inspire and/or help people✨ lots of love xx
I have never seen a wild deer farm before .... Copenhagen is amazing! 🦌✨. You are a beautiful woman Birta .💜💜.
omg yes it's soooo cute!🥹❤️ thank you so much, lots of love to you sweetie xx
So strong and right words in the beginning of the video! It is so sad that some people are trying to give you a bad feeling or feeling wrong just you look the way you naturally look. You look absolutely stunning and I love your style ☺️ Greetings from Germany 💕
Really love your videos!❤❤ You are absolutely right about the beauty standards. It is sad that everyone has to comment on the others. Thank you for bringing this topic up. ❤
of course!!🥹💗 we need to help each other to bring more positivity and love to the world🥰 big hugs to you xx
Such a beautiful message about self acceptance, I love you even more for that.

@@birtahlin 🥺🥺🥺🥺
I’m tearing up reading your comment🥺 I'm truly touched by your kindness and the connection we share, thank you from the bottom of my heart♥️♥️♥️
I just found you. From the beginning I just know that you are that kind of person with a lot of self confidence.l You both really make a very good couple and the vibes you transmit are unique. Hope to see more videos from you and happy weekend!
these words about insecuritiees are SO precious!! tysm!! sending love from Ukraine🇺🇦🫶🏼🫶🏼
of course!!💗 I want to be as personal with you guys and everybody is struggling with their own problems and if I'm able to help in some way, then I want to try to do that🥹✨ big hugs xx

yayyy!!🥹💞 good luck with your studies sweetie xx
2:00 so proud of this speech. Thank you for reminding🙏❤💫
🥹❤️
I think people are where they are so I find compassion for others helps me let it go…and I say out loud…”bless them & continue to heal me”! Today, like you, I practice radical self love and hope with all my heart that others catch what I have if I continue to show them love!! You are such a beautiful soul & I very much enjoy you & your partner’s wonderful life you so generously share with all of us! Thank you
so well written, I agree with everything you said!💛 lots of love xx
Hey Birta this video was very refreshing to see. I have also struggled with my self image in the past and still do sometimes so it’s nice hearing someone else reflecting on their journey. I’ve always had small lips and as a teenager it really bothered me but now im learning to accept myself for who I am because these standards are just crazy. Who says you have to look a certain way to be beautiful.
it makes me so happy that my "insecurity talk" helped a bit💗 the beauty standards are getting crazy nowadays so we need to spread more love and positivity to the world✨ big hugs to you xx
OMG, I just love your videos and your life status.❤Thank you so much for showing this wonderful energy.
Really loved what you've said about beauty standards and being yourself ♥
thank you for this meaningful and very well put insecurities talk 💙💛 you are such a beauty, you actually look alike my beautiful mother, and I love your work and personnalité xxxx
aww thank you Mariana💛 your love and support means a lot and I'm so happy that you are part of the RUclips fam✨ big hugs to you and your mom🥹❤️

Thank you for your vulnerability regarding your insecurities 🤍
of course!!💗 I want to be as personal with you guys and everybody is struggling with their own problems and if I'm able to help in some way, then I want to try to do that🥹✨ big hugs xx
Thank you foenbeing yourself Birta you are beautiful inside out !!! ❤️
You're one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen! People who are pointing on some physical qualities judging you are so unsure about their own look... They look miserable writing some unpleasant things hiding under their little phone screen .... Big hi and hug from Saint-Petersburg
#russiaisaterroriststate
aww you are just the sweetest!🥹💗 lots of love xx
I highly agree with you Birta on your opinion of beauty standards nowadays!! It's so important that you talk about this in public I think! I have a younger sister who is gen Z and was all cought up in thin Instagram beauty standard world... it's just toxic and destroying self-esteem. So big thanks and appreciation for you to stand up! :)
Thank you so much for your support!♥️ It means a lot to hear that my thoughts on beauty standards resonated with you!! Sending you lots of love xx
thank you for sharing Birta 🤍 I can relate, but we are all so beautiful as our selves 💕💕 also, the trip to the deer park looked sooo fun! you had me laughing out loud haha
(My teeth!!)
It is also crazy how much lip fillers have become a thing.
YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you for lifting up this subject.
aww thank you so much!💗
I really appreciate how it looks very windy outside in the park, but we cannot hear it at all, and the voice is crystal clear! Great microphone! 👏Also, I believe that Atelier September recently opened a new café in Nyhavn?!
Can't wait for the next video! I absolutely love your channel!!
Just discovered your RUclips channel and I'm obsessed. Love your contents, you are so relaxing. You and Helgi are such a beautiful couple.
Just want to share, Love from Italy!
As a big boobs girlie, it so hard to find a shirts and the back pains is real 😅 and most importantly if we do enough exploring we will definitely find the best way to dress ourselves and do our makeup to enhance our facial features , so yess all body and all faces are unique 😊😊
yes 100% agree!🥹🩷 lots of love to you Aurora xx
It’s the mating season in fall and that’s why the stags are making that noise. It’s called Rutting season in the US.
ahhh cool!!✨ thanks for letting me know❤️
You are so brave for talking about your insecurities❤ love you🥺
LOVE YOU♥️
Love this one, remember queen you are beautiful and we all love you ❤️✨
haha awww thank you so much!!🥹💗
I can ENTIRELY relate to what you've said at the beginning of the video - beauty standards really are still SO messed up!😒And social media kinda has taken its toll on that too, which can be very hard for younger girls I think..

Ugh I adore you. I’m dying to visit Copenhagen soon!! Love from
California❤️
aww thank you so much Kelsey!💗 yess you need to visit cph!! big hugs to you California🥰
It's so nice to see someone natural like you, honestly I'm tired of same-looking girls :(
love getting new videos from you!!! makes my day!!!
yayyy so happy!!!🥰✨
The baby blue top with your hair colour reminds me of Cinderella 😍 so pretty!

Greetings from Bogota Colombia! Everyone is beautiful in it's unique way! It is true some things in nature are more colorful and attractive! That's an universal true! For example in men's case, I'm aware that there are other man more attractive than me, they go to the gym, they have other body features or characteristics making them more handsome BUT I FEEL HAPPY for them, never make me feel less valuable, instead, that encourage me to reach my best version! ..In the other hand, guys, your videos make me feel like I can travel and eat wonderfully!
