He was created in 99, when the original SNK was about to close. Then I get the feeling that the later devs lost the vision about how to develop him. But it really could have been a kind of Ryu x Ken thing between him and Kim... Rivals in the same fighting style. And Jhun is less of a clone than the shoto chars, or Kyokugen chars, etc.
Jhun is nice and creative product from the late 90s, when SNK was still powerful in that sense. Just like other creative chars from that 99-00 period like Whip, Bao, Ramon, Lin... SNK refused to put little creative energy in their new ideas even though the company was about to die.

Debe ser la razon más graciosa del porque uno se ausenta en un juego 😂
