They are thoughtful people but great fun with a few drinks in them..I remember coming off a ferry from Lubeck Germany to Helsinki Finland I think it was a 38 hour crossing but the ferry was fantastic, the cabins excellent the food was incredible and of course free for truckers ..I stayed in Helsinki Saturday night as I was going up to the Russian border at Vaalima and from there onto Leningrad as it was then and Moscow ..The only reason I stayed in Finland Saturday night was I met a German girl on the boat and she was getting a train Sunday morning to the artic circle at the top of Finland…Yes she was a beautiful Fraulein and I was about 27 🤫, anyway we met loads of people in Helsinki that night and it was brilliant, the Finns enjoy themselves and are wonderful people…We parted company early Sunday morning and I headed for the Russian an border …From then it was a 1000 kilometres to Moscow but I arrived Monday lunchtime …
This heavy haul driver should really try handling this rig over here. It’s not just the machine - it’s the terrain, the conditions, and the lack of understanding. There’s a surprising level of ignorance about Europe’s landscape - as if we’re just flatlands and easy roads. But here we face alpine climbs, hairpin turns, tight village roads, sub-zero temperatures, blizzards, heatwaves, sand, and unpredictable weather - often all in one route. We haul oversize, overlength, and overweight cargo - requiring meticulous planning, escort vehicles, and absolute focus. And yes - Scania is often at the heart of that operation, built for endurance, stability, and control.
Idk if that guy is a good representation of American truckers. The Scania is known to be a fantastic truck and excels in the areas you mentioned. Trucks here primarily have become train replacement and operate mainly on open highway with little in the way of tricky grades or turns.
Yeah, it was the dumbest case of American exceptionalism I've seen lately, even though the guy seemed intelligent and knowledgeable. "I'm not sure this truck will be good enough for America; we have MOUNTAINS."
Get signs for shows with basic information like: Scania R770 2025 770 whp - x torque 6 miles per gallon at 80 000lbs 2 running axels - one in the rear liftable Etc.
It blows my mind that Scania HQ over here in Sweden didn't send Bruce tons of brochures etc for these truck shows... The sales department must have missed that part.
maybe a touchscreen on a stand to see clips and information on. I don't know if Scania uk or Scania Australia uses imperial or metric on there websites
Bruce at 21:11 if I'm not mistaken, this gentleman is talking about high outside temperatures. Here in Portugal, where there are thousands of Scania trucks, they can drive around in the summer, loaded all day, with outside temperatures of 40º C and even higher and they never complain. These trucks are well prepared for extremes.
Need to get a silent compressor on the stand to keep the truck air pressure topped up. Important to be able show the air systems continually for visitors. Great content. I‘ve been waiting to see this!
Yeah, he should've seen that coming and prepare for it. I bet many people who didn't talk to him went away with a bad impression because they didn't know that the truck was out of air.
you can mount a silent screw compressor and battery packs to hold the truck alive for days without the engine. you can tune the engine to a 1000 hp on the wheels. huge cab as higher and longer...Then you have after market builders tuners and stylists..and parts you can order your selfe for your truck.. its endless
They know how huge Scania will be on the market, the issue is setting up all the supply chains, factories and finding investors for that since everything will need to be USA made because of tariffs. That's got nothing to do with Trump either, remember all the Japanese auto factories that are in the USA as well because of the same reason. It's a real strange thing hearing about some of the issues American produced Japanese cars have, as the quality control is so much better on the Japanese produced cars, unfortunately I suspect it would be a similar issue for Scania as well when they make their move.
@jacob1121Or they could continue to build a quality truck in Sweden, export to the USA, charge the truckers the extra tariff, and just explain that the payback in reduced running costs, faster speed, maintenance, lower depreciation, healthier, low fatigued drivers, etc, will pay for itself in a few years. Well done, Sweden!
Good to see Bruce that you finally read the manual. 😅 You sound 100 times more professional now talking about the truck. Pinstriping looks good. whole truck looks perfect. Keep up the good work 👌
also doesnt hurt to say that the scanias haul 70 metric tons loads here in finland and we have road trains.... That should top about anything the united states guys haul.
@zoolkhan yeah they even do 100 metric tons up north in Sweden. they got special permits to run 100ton and extra long for lumber hauling. saves on the enviroment to haul more in one go and make less trips.
@rampage3337 that is why only the Swedish trucks (Scania and Volvo) are making 750+ Hp trucks now. Mercedes and MAN quit the Hp-race many moons ago, they don’t go over 600Hp now. In Scandanavia Volvo and Scania are most popular anyway.
If he try to drive he Will go crazy how capable this Truck is...and how havy can pull with easy... The us truckers they even have a 1% clue how good this truck is ...eu trucks are way way ahead of the us.
He was worried about pulling heavy with no airflow and how to deal the heat, if the radiator is not enough. So there is an option even getting 8x4 chassis with a big radiator behind the cab (and more fuel tanks as well)
@coalhouse_walkerjnr4735 Last summer saw tons of Scania trucks in the Pyrenees pulling loads at decent speeds , 35º and 1000+ meters over sea level. In big mountains around EU Scania´s are king. Even saw a few off road dirt loaders climbing to the top of a huge ski resort, pulling materials in a crazy steep dirt road. I remember some years ago a V8 pulling so hard in El Escudo steep uphills (mountain pass from Burgos to Cantabria in Spain) our little Skoda Fabia was unable to overtake him. It was pulling a huge empty trailer and the driver was very familiar with the road but it was amazing to watch how fast that V8 can move uphill in a narrow road. I always remember the big V8 logo on the side of the truck. I saw some crazy things around Spain and France border, like a farm tractor overtaking cars in Peyragudes at more than 40 mph and later saw him drifting in the rain the dam thing in all the corners around the ski resort on his way
The reason they are not in the market is Canadian tariffs ironically enough. Scania would have to build plants in the US and Canada if they are to come over to North America.
Canada is reevaluating its trade policy so there is a potentially large market there. Maybe they could become part of the EU but I have no idea what the obstacles are and if that is a good idea at all.
I will be a retired firefighter very soon. I've been the driver for years. If Scania comes to the states, I would figure out how to get one and start my next career.
Bruce, you should also explain that you can still shift gears yourself if you want. The truck will then hold the gear. This works via the retarder lever. Greetings from Germany
we don't really use trucks for agricultural purposes. we do some times but it ain't like a common thing. we are more proffesional and efficient here so trucks would be ordered in to haul away the crop from the farm and not really hauled from the fields.
@rampage3337 agrarcultural spec is lower max speed high torque all wheel drive with stronger/ higher flow aux hydraulics - its meant to bring grain to the farm or collective and bring seed and fertilizer to the fields, sprayer chems if necessary, farm usual dirt work and short hauling lighter equipment like combines and excavators up to 25tonns, short hauling fifth wheel dump trailer for all sorts of silage, dirt or manure, tanker trailers for transfering liquid manure to the spreader trailer or spreading it themselves meny have trailer hitches for ag tractor trailers so you can transport ag trailers and attachments at higher but still safe speeds. meny have rear glass to see implements and trailers or rearward camera on roof to see loading procedures better Some even have rear 3 point hitches and most super single ultra wide heavy profile ag tires - then they till and plow at speed and comfort most tractors cant , makes sense at large farms and ag contractors that harvest for meny farms and do a lot of work a long way from "home" usually day cab only it usually has higher ground clearance, as wide as possible tires , some have narrower axles so the wider tires dont make it overwidth meny have lower max sped to get ag tractor registration - lower taxes and no rules for drive times meny have more axles on trailers and trucks than needed to reduce soil compaction
Canada should adopt Euro vehicle standards rather than USA, and then they would be able to get some amazing trucks & cars. (And I say this as an American.)
You Should get a TV for the shows playing videos of the different scanias and the trailers we use here in europe! heavy haul and dual trailers! those guys will get crazy
Just love how cute it is that the heavy hauler guy don't think we do heavy hauling in other parts of the world. And we manage very well on the modern automatic gearboxes of Scania. Like in sweden we have a lot of very mining equipment that are hauled in mountainous areas without any problems. Stop thinking backwards, you don't need a manual.
That guy talked about the West Coast as if there isn't any other part in the world that looks the same and where the terrain is simular. Classic American with zero knowledge of geography.
It's been a long time since you saw so many expectant, questioning and wondering people looking at a truck. Scania seems to make a big impression on everyone who sees it. Scania makes me a very proud Swede. That we have so much technology and knowledgeable people in this country 🇸🇪
When I was to the US and mentioned how awful the coffee was in the US and when my relative came over to Finland a few years later he agreed... You should try to get a Scania represantative present at some show too...
Traditionally, Finnish coffee is lightly roasted, giving it a character almost like strong tea. Not my cup of tea, but certainly better for your health, especially when filtered.
American coffee tends to be dark roast. They call is “medium” but I find it over roasted for medium. Italian coffee is medium roast, for example. Much better.
First off, RYAN IS BACK!!!!!!! Bruce knew he needed him for something of this magnitude!!! 2nd. Can’t wait to see the Scania dealer in America!!! 3rd. Great job Bruce, very professional in this video
For the big shows you should get a microphone and do a presentation style setting so that you can explain the truck to a large audience rather than repeating yourself to every person
If you have "shore power" from the venue (or get one of those giant suitcase batteries), it might be worth it to have a little silent compressor to keep the air topped up Or just put a redundant electric air compressor on the frame and keep the batteries topped up This truck does so much with the air that as a sales/intro sample, letting it go up and down, lift and drop the tag, air the seats and steering wheel, etc, would be very cool. I'm sure a huge number of those people who sat in it have never been in a full air-mounted cab
Bruce, it's a fact that most Americans believe that Europe is a country smaller than USA, but Europe is larger than the United States. The size difference between Europe and the USA in terms of land area is approximately 130 000 square miles, with Europe being larger. Aside from its narrower roads, the European topography is more rugged and features steep inclines with many hairpins on standard routes. So, the fact is that any average European truck is designed to handle these challenges. At the next show, it would be great to highlight to the inquiring visitors that Scania trucks are not built solely for driving the flatlands of Europe. Scania trucks are engineered to navigate Europe's highly diverse terrain & climate and handle a wide range of challenging conditions much more often than in the USA.
Not only in Europe. Scania is popular in south America, Australia, Africa and Asia to. So Scania can easily handle flatland, mountains and all in between.
The difference in area between Europe is much bigger than what you spell out. First off all USA pump up their land area by including territorial waters (ocean) by nearly 265000 sq. miles. Europe does not include ocean area as land. So the difference totally of land area will be over 310000 sq.miles. Second: Alaska is just a wilderness (good for nature) and has not much to brag about concerning infrastructure ....one road....and not much more. Hawaii is also not a place for trucking....hence the contiguous 48 states is what matters.....with an area which is some 890 000 sq. miles smaller than Europe. There are uncertainty related to these numbers since for example wikipedia can not even convert sq.km to sq.mile correctly for the same area. There are also uncertainty to the exact area both for Europe and the US....depending on which web page you're looking at. I do not include the 3 countries in Caucasus into Europe as some do. But whatever ....the reality is that Europe is massively bigger than USA (with available road infrastructure....which is the contiguous 48 states). Let me also add that no distance of road in the USA can match distances in Europe.
@Dan-fo9dkYep. As a European haulier I have pointed this out to US truckers and they either hate it and get angry or just swear blind it is not true. Typical hey. 😂
For the man at minute 22.00. In Europe too, a lot of weight is driven. In Finland and Sweden, the timber transporters drive with up to 120 metric tons (264,000 lb). I don't know what a US truck can do that the Scania can't
No, we just drive a fridge here and there. Perhaps 300kg load downhill if we're unlucky. That's why we need these trucks with bigger engines than American ones.
Artists that do pinstriping are incredibly skilled people, insanely skilled. If I had a truck I would totally have pinstripes put onto it by one of these talented individuals with utmost confidence that it would turn out looking awesome. The lady that did the pinstriping on your Scania did the truck justice.
Did you know Scania used to make cars as well? If you look at the Scania logo you can see it's the same logo as SAAB had. Old Scania trucks had SAAB-SCANIA's logos back in the day.
Yes, but not really. They were just owned by the same company. Saab automobile was later bought by GM and that did not end up so well. The Griffin symbol comes from the area in Sweden with the same name😉👍 Proudly the symbol is still used, both at Scania trucks and the Gripen JAS 39 fighter aircraft, still produced by SAAB (planes is what they did from the beginning).
The longline and Heavy haul trucks is what Americans seem interested that red one bruce drove would make a huge impact shout out to South Africa, we love Scania and Volvo
To all american truckers, come to sweden and go to truck show elmia, one of the biggest in europe and u will see a lot kinds of scania trucks that u will like
These trucks do great as haul units that totals at 100 000 to 120 000 pound in Northern Norway. That is never flat country, its all hills everywhere. They do heavier hauls at those conditions as well, but as special haul units. But Scanias and Volvos do just fine here. If allowed to deal in the U.S, it will change the average U.S truckers life for sure!
Most talkative Finn in the world
you havent seen me talking yet. i can chew your ear off even in het nederlandse taal hoor
i had people questioning my finnish passport because of it.
Kimi Räikkönen is a reference to a speaking Finn who speaks more when Kimi is not Finnish.
Yes.

it will get better after alot of beers.
trust me im nordic too . we dont go far pr gallon XD

Yeah, and they also ask "how is it going to work in the US" but forget it is already the best choice in every other country in the entire world😅
Idk if that guy is a good representation of American truckers. The Scania is known to be a fantastic truck and excels in the areas you mentioned.

"I'm not sure this truck will be good enough for America; we have MOUNTAINS."
@rrolf71 hahah maybe he thin eu is only the netherlands where its flat
@8alakai8mostly flat but still hard for a truck to drive in narrow streets, or on dikes 😅
Get signs for shows with basic information like:
Scania R770 2025
770 whp - x torque
6 miles per gallon at 80 000lbs
2 running axels - one in the rear liftable
Etc.
Torque = 2800 lb/ft.
Refrigerator - capacity 5 Gallons of beer 😁
Exactly my thought
@ yeah, must be exhausting explain 100 people exact same things timer over
I don't think they can do that. That would be advertising
Hi Bruce! Get SCANIA to send brochures over all relativt models for your tours
Great suggestion
It blows my mind that Scania HQ over here in Sweden didn't send Bruce tons of brochures etc for these truck shows... The sales department must have missed that part.
Yes, the low cabs for the city are amazing.
@robert4you The Trump tariffs are kinda hurting that mission rn, they've got other priorities
maybe a touchscreen on a stand to see clips and information on.
I don't know if Scania uk or Scania Australia uses imperial or metric on there websites

Also how easy its to supply truck with air
Yeah, he should've seen that coming and prepare for it. I bet many people who didn't talk to him went away with a bad impression because they didn't know that the truck was out of air.
@module79l28 If they couldn't figure out that obvious thing about airsuspension, they can't know much about trucking in general.
Excatly my thought :)
you can mount a silent screw compressor and battery packs to hold the truck alive for days without the engine. you can tune the engine to a 1000 hp on the wheels. huge cab as higher and longer...Then you have after market builders tuners and stylists..and parts you can order your selfe for your truck.. its endless
i would like to see Scania CEOs reacting to these videos and the huge smiles.
They know how huge Scania will be on the market, the issue is setting up all the supply chains, factories and finding investors for that since everything will need to be USA made because of tariffs. @jacob1121 well they can enforce company uniform, training, and 25% higher wages than the competitors
@jacob1121 Most likely, they will be produced in Brazil, for example Scania trucks manufactured in Brazil and France arrive in Mexico
I have never seen an uglier Scania than the Englishman showed.
There should be a fine for such vandalism.
keep using the mic, the sound is mutch clearer
Yeah, just get extra batteries!
Good to see Bruce that you finally read the manual. 😅
You sound 100 times more professional now talking about the truck.
Pinstriping looks good. whole truck looks perfect. Keep up the good work 👌
Those 2 guys with the long white hair are amazing, absolute nerds for the things they do
Really enjoyed hearing their insights, they know their subject!
One was long hair, short beard, the other was short(er) hair, long beard 😂
we have two of those in Sweden, but within the RC model plane hobby, they pop up here and there in different "hobbys" xD
Yeah, they're called Pee-Pee Top, but they don't play guitars! 🤣
Yeah they are amazing. I want them to be my granddad.
Everybody likes the room, fridge and coffee maker.
Love,
Mom🥰
hi mom, how are ya..
@ doing well! Hope you like the videos!
Love,
Mom🥰
Hello 👋 Hey Hi And Howdy 👋 Mrs Wilson: Cleveland Tennessee Waivin a Hand 👋
@Al_Nunnery 😊hello back at ya!
Love,
Mom🥰
@jenniferwilson954you’ve raised a lovely man, moms. I LOVE that you read the comments to hie videos.
I loved the two ZZ TOP guys who were showing an almost childlike glee to the Scania. They even blushed.
You saw he grin when asked is it a V8 !
I liked all the comments!
I think they wanted it by the end!
I like when you have real deep tech discussions about real life problems with truckers
Dude the fact that you managed to show how European trucks can be adapted for america. I love it .
U need to but that heavy hauler guy in the front seat. That dude ask legit important questions for using Scania in hes company
if he knew that you can order them to tow 550000 pounds
He will be sold after a 1 hour drive loaded.
also doesnt hurt to say that the scanias haul 70 metric tons loads here in finland and we have road trains....

@joseteixeira5900they work pretty well in the OZ Outback, don’t think it’d be a problem.
Too bad Tapani guy's we're not there at the time.
@mr4lergia They were probably looking for more water 👀
That heavy haul guy needs to have a drive
I think he was interested but sceptical about the Scania. Driveing it would probably blow his mind
Yeah, he was no walkover, that's for sure
@tommylee4350 probably doesn't realise they have mountains in Europe, and that Europe is the same size as the USA, with twice as many people.
@PutinPussyRiot Yes, and both Mediterranean hot and Arctic cold temperatures too!
@coalhouse_walkerjnr4735 Last summer saw tons of Scania trucks in the Pyrenees pulling loads at decent speeds , 35º and 1000+ meters over sea level. In big mountains around EU Scania´s are king. California Air Tools makes a very quiet air compressor that you should use for shows like this so that you don't run out of air.
You need to get an External Air Compressor! So you can show of that air suspension and air-operated seats!
Its 2025, who wouldn't know that trucks have air ride seats
@bharris7610 the americans
@matiasmaensivu7723 you simply cant be this dumb or uneducated ? Is everyone over there this misinformed?
@matiasmaensivu7723 😂😂 why would you even think that ? Lmao that's ridiculous
💯
After the 2nd of April Scania will have a huge possibility to enter in the Canadian market.
That’s awesome
@lorre982 and what are gonne be the rules from 2nd april ?? Is that the anti trump rule were they speaking about....?
@SammarsBro Scania XT for off road applications (mining) distributed by Navistar. There will be no transport cabs in Canada for the moment.
21:20 they haul all loads to Greece, heat isn’t an issue.
Queuing up to sit in something I drive everyday is wild to me
As European i have to love American truckers, they're extremely passionate about their work
I will be a retired firefighter very soon. I've been the driver for years. If Scania comes to the states, I would figure out how to get one and start my next career.
Loads of fire engines in Europe are based on Scanias. Also Volvo, Mercedes, Renault, Iveco, Man etc.
I just realized that closest to the European style trucks in the US are in fact the firetrucks.
Well we have a lot of European firetrucks here in Philippines also for example; MAN
Bruce, you should also explain that you can still shift gears yourself if you want. The truck will then hold the gear. This works via the retarder lever. Greetings from Germany
I want a video where the twins go on a road trip in that truck. :)
Scania needs like 2 more trucks and promoters in the US - a light spec, a agrarculture spec and a ultra heavy spec
Yeah for real
Scania doesn't make agriculture truck, but you can have the XT models, this models are used for heavy duty and off-road conditions
@marco_grt4460 ye the agriculture trucks are made by MAN within the Traton group.
we don't really use trucks for agricultural purposes. we do some times but it ain't like a common thing. we are more proffesional and efficient here so trucks would be ordered in to haul away the crop from the farm and not really hauled from the fields.
@rampage3337 agrarcultural spec is lower max speed high torque all wheel drive with stronger/ higher flow aux hydraulics - its meant to bring grain to the farm or collective and bring seed and fertilizer to the fields, sprayer chems if necessary, farm usual dirt work and short hauling lighter equipment like combines and excavators up to 25tonns, short hauling fifth wheel dump trailer for all sorts of silage, dirt or manure, tanker trailers for transfering liquid manure to the spreader trailer or spreading it themselves
meny have trailer hitches for ag tractor trailers so you can transport ag trailers and attachments at higher but still safe speeds.
meny have rear glass to see implements and trailers or rearward camera on roof to see loading procedures better
Some even have rear 3 point hitches and most super single ultra wide heavy profile ag tires - then they till and plow at speed and comfort most tractors cant , makes sense at large farms and ag contractors that harvest for meny farms and do a lot of work a long way from "home"
usually day cab only
it usually has higher ground clearance, as wide as possible tires , some have narrower axles so the wider tires dont make it overwidth meny have lower max sped to get ag tractor registration - lower taxes and no rules for drive times
meny have more axles on trailers and trucks than needed to reduce soil compaction
I must say... Bruce, you are doing a great job.
Does that guy think there’s nothing heavy to haul in Europe?
Its because of there education. ..stupid as hell.
The pin striping is 100% cool!
Great to see all the reactions!
Imagine the Tapani truck fully loaded sitting outside and letting people drive around the building.
The Chinese copy!!
The chinese based their truck on this one!
Get them into Canada ASAP
Big market now US done Canada dirty!
Canada should adopt Euro vehicle standards rather than USA, and then they would be able to get some amazing trucks & cars. (And I say this as an American.)
Canada needs to happen
@Johnny_Sockoas an American too, I agree
The reason these trucks are not in Canada is protectionism by the Canadian government ironically enough
@Johnny_Socko thats asinine to be honest. North america survives on border crossing. There's a reason we have ifta and nafta
You should invite the twins for a test drive
Watching the guys drink beer is like watching King of the Hill lol
Finnish guys doing finnish guy stuff
im not a truck driver my self, but it makes me happy watching this because there's parts inside this truck made by me
You Should get a TV for the shows playing videos of the different scanias and the trailers we use here in europe! heavy haul and dual trailers! those guys will get crazy
yeah like there are screens on on every manufactureres booth in EU shows
10:45 petition to get that man to drive it fully loaded
Its sold everywhere in the world
Trucker bro: i would like to know how it will worked here
That was the most American thing i heard today 😅
The us is special you see, for them it is necessary to use 90's technology to haul cargo. You wouldnt get it.
@kladblok2729Excuse me sir it’s called ✨Tradition✨. lol hope more of these Euro trucks comes to US and Canada.
The two Fins simultaneous drink was funny as heck!
It's its own sport in the Nordics, Synchronized drinking
It was 1 Fin and 1 Sweede i belive! 😀 But i could be wrong
@parthenontech6933 correct
Swede i think, they did drive to Finland for fuel.
@parthenontech6933 Anton is at least half Finnish. There are a lot Finns in northern Sweden.
Just love how cute it is that the heavy hauler guy don't think we do heavy hauling in other parts of the world. And we manage very well on the modern automatic gearboxes of Scania. That guy talked about the West Coast as if there isn't any other part in the world that looks the same and where the terrain is simular. Classic American with zero knowledge of geography.
They are stupid because of there education system...
These Finns, so talkative you can't shut them up! 🤣
Clarissa Rankin @25:15 seems like the best hype-woman :)
9:40 "We are kind of SEMI-retired now" Got a chuckle out of me :D
It's been a long time since you saw so many expectant, questioning and wondering people looking at a truck. Scania seems to make a big impression on everyone who sees it.
Scania makes me a very proud Swede. That we have so much technology and knowledgeable people in this country 🇸🇪
"Is it the same mph we have?" most amarican thing i heard in a while
For most American truckers sitting in the Scania must be like sitting in a UFO
That Finnish dude is soooo Finnish hahaha I love him
Bring a electric air compressor to shows.
The big difference is DRIVING IT!!
Dues the heavy haul bloke at 21 minutes realise that scania would pull his truck and the 250,000lbs load lol
That microphone is really good for that environment.
It was incredible if the scania heavy haulage driven by Angelica was there or for the future shows ❤❤❤
It's a daily driver and it would take weeks to ship.
i don't know how i got here, but i enjoy americans loving our european trucks :D
Here IN Australia we use them for road trainsout back heat and heavy haul not a problem
That pinstriping is exquisite work. Absolutely beautiful. Some really talented people out there.
That Finnish guy is quite a talkative breed of his kind 😅
For the big shows you should get a microphone and do a presentation style setting so that you can explain the truck to a large audience rather than repeating yourself to every person
If you have "shore power" from the venue (or get one of those giant suitcase batteries), it might be worth it to have a little silent compressor to keep the air topped up
Or just put a redundant electric air compressor on the frame and keep the batteries topped up
This truck does so much with the air that as a sales/intro sample, letting it go up and down, lift and drop the tag, air the seats and steering wheel, etc, would be very cool.
I'm sure a huge number of those people who sat in it have never been in a full air-mounted cab
20:35 - The radiator on the R/S Cab is 83/100dm2 (5/6cyl / V8) while the P/G cabs use a 70dm2 radiator.
Heavy hauling in Australia, middle east, all over south america, but will it work on the US west coast? :D
12:55 😂 drinkin buddies always synchronize each sip, it's natural
The pinstriping is top notch! 👍
Haha, typical Finn. You can't get a word out of him. And I say that as a half Finn.
Great to see a local trucker from Shropshire England.
And I've actually driven for swains transport many years ago
The Scania R770 looks lit. Please ppf the pinstriping and get that huge V8 logo at the back of the cab
She did a amazing job on the back
"If we wanted it perfect, we'd put a sticker on there." Damn right! (Having said that, it looks perfect to me!)
US coffee and US beer is considered contaminated water in the EU
For the Americans this must be like a UFO
40 years into the future compared to their own old trucks😒😁👍
Not really
@bharris7610Yes really.
@shades2.183 false
@bharris7610 100% correct kiddo.
@shades2.183 your opinion isn't factual little one
As a Scandinavian , i am still surprice they dont have Scania over there
The finn was as most of them are short and concise answers .
The answers are short but they come from the heart lol
I think the big US companies will be terrified. Scania are decades ahead of them
Love the finnish guy, 100% positive attityd, 200% integrity!
The heavy haulage guy will have a fleet of V8’s in 5-10 years
Shame about the tariffs.
@catd11ng74 Almost like Scania is Swedish which features arctic climate, mountains, flat land and everything else. We're a very tall country.
@Karl-m6b
Yes i know. I live in the tip of the Bottnia bay and i work above the Arctic circle in northern Sweden.
Coolest truck on the show, by a country mile.
Wilson you’ve been a superstar. Scania should be proud of you.
I find it so strange you guys get so excited about a truck that we have had for years 👍🏴😂
Scania became its journey in 1891
For the man at minute 22.00. In Europe too, a lot of weight is driven. In Finland and Sweden, the timber transporters drive with up to 120 metric tons (264,000 lb). I don't know what a US truck can do that the Scania can't
And in Kiruna the drive 90 tons trucks with iron ore. Up i north sweden…artic sweden.
No, we just drive a fridge here and there. Perhaps 300kg load downhill if we're unlucky. That's why we need these trucks with bigger engines than American ones.
that lady trucker is cool, what an enthusiasm:))
Scania used to make longlines a while back i think. i have seen two that were converted to be long nosed which look pretty cool
Artists that do pinstriping are incredibly skilled people, insanely skilled. If I had a truck I would totally have pinstripes put onto it by one of these talented individuals with utmost confidence that it would turn out looking awesome. The lady that did the pinstriping on your Scania did the truck justice.
Hey Bruce Wilson, Awesome pinstriping and great to see and hear the reactions on your Scania R770.
@fredrikpettersson5610 The south province of Sweden has the griffin in its coat of arms.
Twins are legends. I need more ❤😊😊
It takes a lot of guts, really, to bring something foreign, believe in it, market it and get conversions along the way.Big up Bruce.
The British guys Scania was absolutely gorgeous 😍
16:36 how? With smile😊
This gentleman needs an S770, 4 axle for a test. I think he would be very satisfied with it.
That woman was hilarious 😂
clearly she´s in need of some good scania time
The longline and Heavy haul trucks is what Americans seem interested that red one bruce drove would make a huge impact shout out to South Africa, we love Scania and Volvo
We are scandivoviane
Hi Bruce, really nice promotion for swedish engineering, keep up the good! work
21:17 - Well - in Europe we do everything with the same trucks. But they can always be modded - tricked out like every other truck.
I enjoy watching these series and see how U.S. truckers get educated and loose some of their bias about europe and our trucks.
First interjuv subject looked familiar :-) Was he talking about sauna and ice? sau nice? :-)
Yes. Bara Bada Bastu.
@dieselmats fyfan moste vi ny pratar svensk här
To all american truckers, come to sweden and go to truck show elmia, one of the biggest in europe and u will see a lot kinds of scania trucks that u will like
The reaction videos like this are the best. Just listening to folks' reactions :D
I got to meet Bruce at MATS. He signed my hat. Genuine dude.
A full-load test drive is needed. It would be interesting to hear the feedback and see the faces of american drivers.
