This is great review, I am not able to see this in person .. but trying to choose between Pique and Je Reve! However I saw people complaining that Je Reve was red and warm in colour in comparison to what was shown online ...
I find this color to be very neutral. I haven’t seen the other colors in person, but Je Reve does seem more pink and reddish

I got je reve.. It is true to color and quite wearable. However, I am still going to get this pique because it looks stunning on you and I think it will be wearable as well :)
Je Reve was my other contender when having to choose just one shade, but I ended up going with Pique because I wanted more of cooler undertone

Thanks a lot for this review!! This colour (piké) looks stunning on you and that gives me hope that it will also look good on me (nope, I still haven't received mine). If I end up liking it, I'll wait until she releases the refills (or at least until I can get it on sale, because I fear the same thing as you) to get Je Rêve (je gev/rev). And for a little extra French lesson: "Piqué" is a ballet term that means to plunge, "Je Rêve" means I dream and "Rue" means street. 😉Also, I just remembered, I had some concerns about the smell of the lipsticks because several reviewers have mentioned not liking it at all, but since you didn't point it out, I guess it was a non issue for you.
Thank you!!! I always love a good French lesson 🥰. I really want the other 2 colors I mentioned. What will I do with all of those cases 😄. Mine does not have much of a smell at all. Honestly, I didn’t even notice it, that’s how non existent it is. I wonder if the smell varies by color🤔.
@@isabelhoyos9581 Just as if they were waiting for me to write a comment, I have literally just received my package! It smells exactly like a more subtle version of the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks (i.e. a very soft cocoa/vanilla). So I cannot understand for the life of me what some of these people found so unpleasant about it.
As for the colour it looks slightly more taupey on me (I'm a 0.5) but I still like it a lot. And I've only worn it for like an hour but so far I find the formula very comfortable (and Madrid is a lot less humid than Florida).
I think I'm only going to get one more, so even if she doesn't release the refills this year, it still won't be massive storage issue 😅

No at all. Mine is smooth and buttery upon application. I just ordered a second color during the Sephora sale in the shade Rue
