Draupadi | Odissi | Pankajcharan Das | Harihar Panda | Jhelum Paranjape | Rewathi Sriniwasraghavan

This is an edited version of the original piece "DRAUPADI", Guru Pankajcharan Das's masterpiece from his Panchkanya series. Draupadi is dragged into court, where she sees Bheeshma, Dronacharya, Dhritarashtra, Karna, Duryodhana, Shakuni and her five husbands, who cannot dare to look at her. But she dares to question her five loved ones - how did you, how could you let this happen, aren't you ashamed? What are you going to do to help me now? When she realises that they are helpless and useless, she calls out to Lord Krishna, her sakha.

Intense and spine chilling performance about Draupadi's tribulatuon. Taai, I felt kind of, like a helpless and guilty spectator seeing the events unfold live in Dhritarashtras court.
