I love Red Gazelle, it's my second favorite after Sonic Phantom. It might not be able to compete with the best of the best, but it's definitely not a bad machine. as you stated, it has a nice booster and it's pretty good with most advanced tech which is a huge plus. Gazelle's design is awesome as well. One thing that I noticed very clearly when I picked Gazelle way back when I was a beginner, choosing it makes some Master GPs easier as there are some maps where the Gazelle AI is almost reliably seconds ahead of any other racer, this is especially true for Sand Ocean and Big Blue. Especially Big Blue can be really hard to win so getting rid of the toughest enemy on that course can actually help a lot :D
Red Gazelle is a awful machine in F zero GX, even on max speed settings. This thing is slow, average booster, Awful body and so on. The only way to be decent is using ALL advanced techniques

Red Gazelle isn't all bad. The boost is still good and it's got a nice speed. It's not too hard to control. Just the camera isn't all that easy to get used to. Especially on twisty turny courses. Almost makes me sick.
Red Gazelle, while solid, really only has a D booster, according to its strength. It does have good duration, but the boost strength just isn't up there sadly.
It's probably not true, but I feel like the booster rankings are actually true, they appear weaker because they also factor in the vehicle's acceleration, top speed, and weight. It's why Black Bull's E rated boost is orders of magnitude more powerful than Astro Robin's D booster, because Black Bull is the fastest official machine, and likewise, Fat Shark has the strongest boost because it's higher powered and Fat Shark is not only the second fastest vehicle, it's also the fastest accelerating in its bracket. The one exception to this, I think, would be Great Star. It's a pretty slow machine, but it's boost is actually quite strong.

the red gazzelle's game camera is even more weird when you take it on cylinder courses like Port town Cylinder wave
Not too crazy about the red gazelle but I'm very impressed with its speed, especially while snaking!!

@@LuwiigiMaster It's true that base acceleration has an effect on boost pickup but the boost strength stats are criminally all over the place.
