En el libro describe a un Lestat demasiado celoso, un red flag andante, en la película lo demuestra, sin mostrar todo el lado homosexual de la historia (les recomiendo, lean el libro), Louis se deja hacer todo, se deja llevar por Lestat, sus celos eran demasiados, en especial cuando se habia dado cuenta de que Claudia queria quitarlo, pero en la serie se le rinde honores a Lestat, la serie no concuerda del todo con el libro, pero este Lestat refleja todo aquello que es, celoso, posesivo y extremadamente controlador, no tolera cuando Louis lo rechaza, no le agrada que Louis prefiera a Claudia antes que a él, el el tipico esposo golpeador también, ejerce.violencia familiar en su cass, y aún asi sigue Louis sigue amando a Lestat
