Now THIS is DnB! That undergroundvibe fortunately also made it to Holland, with the RedZone nights at the Effenaar club, Eindhoven. There i saw Ed Rush (everybody was expecting full-on No U Turn darkness, but he dropped a much more versatile set, but still pretty dark though!), Krust (who remained so relaxed under a massive power-cut) and Randall (what an immense set and what a GEORGEOUS girlfriend!!). Soooo glad i was there at that time, MAD intense!
Ah man, since that night at metalheadz nothing seams the same. I think I died that night to what seamed like the sounds of a train rattling by and the walls coming down from the paranoia. Doc Scott...Im holding you and everything else responsible. So thanks for helping with the grasp of the 3d threads and that visit to the void. Them f@*king drums!
METALHEADZ is the best thing that DnB experience, with all the respect but if it wasn't for the Headz DnB would not be what it is today, its a shame that the Metalheadz its just like a sleeping giant now
weel goldie got lot of crap back in the days beacuse he was thinking his own ways. Well look at him now he is a freeking legend. peapole say he talked alot of crap back then but mather of fact is the he had is totaly ownn style, and listen to his return to sturn record that D&B is what we listen to today.. long live Goldie and all Metalheads members.. Great video both part 1 and 2 :p
hell yeah!! went to a few of them Blue Note nights. holy shit they always went OFF!!! Metalheadz are without doubt one of the top 3 labels. Gotta give Props to Ram Records too, and Moving Shadow. Reinforced. Prototype. V. Full Cycle, Ganja, Hospital, Valve, Tru Playaz, Virus, shit! loads of good good hard music out there! thems were the days eh? the kids these days don't know shit! poor bleeders ;)
Blue note was wicked but it wasn't the be all and end all of DnB. there was loads of clubs that were in my opinion loads better and much more of a milestone in the dance scene, Rage for example quite possibly at the top of the list and im pretty sure even Goldie wouldn't disagree with me on that and Grooverider ;) But yes good times at the blue note, and Metalheadz as a label ..absolute quality.

I love Headz and all, but Metalheadz does not equal D&B, know your history, Headz was just a segment of D&B.
