- It finally happened. After more than 20 long years of neglect I decided to come back to Space Marines... albeit briefly. In this video I'm converting and painting up a Primaris-scale Deathwatch Veterans Kill Team for... Kill Team. I had a lot of fun with this one and I hope you enjoy it too!

You taking it to the enemy? I'd go red/orange Martian dust or blue/purple swamp.
You clearing a place out? I like ship decking or urban rubble.
Totally! I think one of the reasons I haven't decided is because I don't have a strong narrative tie for them yet.
The deathwatch kill team comes with only half of the weapons listed, I have to get bits from tactical marines and devastators + blood angels if you want the heavy flamer
You mean the Heavy Infernus Bolter? Its from the deathwatch Kit and i do not see any other heavy flamer, so yeah. But like he said u need to get the hammer and plasma pistol extra
I did this but with Reivers 😅
Reivers are a great choice! The "tacticool" Phobos armor is definitely closer to the original DW vets bodies but I just wanted that classic Aquilla :D
maybe like a destroyed city. some remains of the buildings, dust, human remains, something like that could be cool. maybe in a light-greyish color

Dont base them keep them black or find clear bases goes better with mats

Great dudes you've done the Watch proud but that's not the chapter symbol for the Minotaurs. They have a completely different symbol.
For anyone who doesn't know Deathwatch Vets are same size as the new MK3-MK6 stuff from Horus Heresy so they're not all that smaller than primaris.
Said kit is amazing I can forgive the kit missing one or two options when it gives you Two stormshields, two heavy thunder hammers and a plethora of other gear. It's honestly crazy what u get in it.

It’s a vice for pins after all.
Well if you want to get technical it's a "pen drill" 😂 but its all semantics in the end
@@toasthammer The relative importance of semantics aside, you’re right. A pin vice isn’t meant or well suited for drilling, as it has no rotating palm support. Even though it’s hard to blame anyone for confusing the two almost identical designs.
