Unusual Trains Weekend
The event was a celebration of the Narrow Gauge Railway Get Together, a chance for staff to catch up with colleagues from narrow gauge railways from around the UK.
With the name 'Unusual Trains Weekend' the railway, decided to make quirky and unusual movements, such as Dungeness to Dungeness Non Stop (Via Britannia Points, Smokebox to Smokebox Headers and the finale, Double Headed Top & Tail, with a loco in the middle of the set.

I fulfilled a childhood dream in 2000 and went and rode on that railway. When the staff found out I had come from Australia and this place was a dream of mine, they went out of their way to give me a grand tour of the facilities. Wonderful people on the RHDR.
I will return again soon.

Green Goddess currently has a LMS Stainer Hooter fitted, hence why it sounds slightly different.
