yes!! thats great observation! in fact if you see the movie , there are thousands of small small things which depicts reality of today! one seen in movie in second half , when hero and heroin on scooter, heroin is driving and at one place ,road side , self claimed modern day cultural saviours harasing other couples, it may be valentine say or normal occasion but nobody in the world to help couples like hero heroin who left behind everything and ontheir own!!
And also she is taking his little sister to school on her scooter... Such a simple lovely way to show that she cares for him and his family is now hers... No Bollywood movie can think like this..

I am a bengali . Iwas traveling from pune to mumbai by a volvo service which was playing this movie . The astonishing music hit me really hard ! What was I listening to ? Simply humongous! Then I found that the movie Sairath had this exceptional duo Ajay Atul who for the first time used the American philharmonic orchestration to power these unparalleled sweet songs . It took a long time for AA to reach this height of excellence but this was historical . I’m an ardent admirer of AA ! Hats off to you . The chord progressions have made the song even sweeter . God bless this duo

All this shoot is in his villege and nearby area. Thus he gave tribute to his native n people. He is simply a great man who is magician.
Chinmayi is probably one of the most underrated artists. She has a strong classical background along with very soothing voice. No one is speaking about her in the comments .

Also, there was an underlying feeling of people out of tn are not recognizing the language and talent, that made people behave like that. Rajinikaandth is a maharastian, brought up in Karnataka but he is bigger STAR than Kamal. Not much credit has given to Ilayaraja, foreigners are giving him much appreciation, like in Budapest, etc.

Thanks to directors like Manjule, Manjerekar etc and to films like Sairat, Nat Samarat, Katyar Kaljaat Ghusli etc. Not to forget gems like Jatra, Jaudya na Balasaheb. Marathi industry is known for its simplicity & preciseness. Thank you sairat for making it realise & taking it up to International levels. Also love back to the world ya.
Sairaat definitely is a master piece. In 80s I used to see many good Marathi films ....Hope once again Marathi films take it's due position. Marathi manoos should patronise Marathi films more and keep is healthy and live . They are more realistic and well picturized . And gave a strong storyline. ,👍👌
