I love this song in the studio version, with its gorgeous keyboards and arrangement. That didn't really translate to the stage version, but this is still a great song and far better than Bano and Power's previous effort in '76. They were doing very well in the voting when they suddenly got ignored for several juries in a row - something that happened several times for Italy!

Después de todo lo que vi y leí sobre esta chica, llegué a la conclusión de que el Sr. Al Bano fue el responsable de la separación. Parece ser muy autoritario y antipático. Recordando que es un excelente cantante, pero dejaba mucho que desear como esposo. Si bien esta chica es pura emoción, ¡hermosa por dentro y por fuera!
Recordando también que respeto todas las opiniones en contrario.

Romina's voice was completely covered by Albano's voice.

The arrangement killed it - wonderful song, But, Romina Power's voice wasn't great on the night, the orchestre couldn't create magic and Al Bano overdid it... the visual mess didn't help either - I believe they thought it was a done deal and got sloppy...
You shouldn't talk like that about Romina voice.
@@DjordjeDjurkovic listen to the video again. All singers can have an off day or technical problems that make them sound off... That doesn't mean Romina in general had a bad singing voice. She usually was wonderful -
I think Al Bano's voice was pure magic that night. The orchestra did a good job, as did Romina. The only fault, to my ears, was that the backing choir were a bit out of sync with each other (and with Romina). No matter what, it's a beautiful song and a real evergreen. One of (if not) Italy's best entries during the 1980's. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Where do we begin. Yes this is a fabulous song and entry. However, the execution is far from what your jury person was looking for. As with 1976 Al Bano fluffs his lines and the mic has a problem. The live performance lacks coordination, coherent themes and importantly an end. The song doesn’t reach an end and you are left wondering why didn’t the arranger create a better ending. Feels lazy not to have tried. Were RAI unconcerned or believed they would just win? Who knows. I love the entry, but the thanks at the end really ruin the song
and the three female backing singers were probably a strategic choice to cover up romina's less than great vocal capabilities ..... or albano's tendency to shout
@@colleenheaterringtone2929 the whole Performance was a mess. Albano is shouting that loud cause Romina was getting out of key constantly. You can sometimes hear how they turn down her microphone or the volume of the backing singer goes up to cover that mess.
You all think so? Yeah her voice definitely sounds out of key but Al's voice sounds better than ever in my opinion.

Al Bano is a singer and Romina is not. The song is awesome but Al Bano covers Romina vocally with his voice tone and she can't be heard. She is out of tune at times and he yells too much. It's a shame because the song was a candidate to win.
