Jeff I power watched your entire catalog of content this past year. I got a rare illness and it paralyzed where I was in the University of Michigan unable to walk for 3 months, after surgery and physical therapy, I'm back to normal. Thanks for being part of my process...If I wasn't sleeping I was listening to your show. I'm glad you got your original channel back up and going again. You and Scott Bernstein are the best at the genre. You got him in the interview part, you get good stuff from your guest, Scott specializes in the Detroit partnership and Canada and Philly he's more than knowledgeable.

I went to Philly for work one weekend and we arrived late at night. I checked in to our hotel and left in the rain immediately and drove to South Philly and Passiunk Ave. to go get a Steak at Geno's it was amazing. I sat right outside in my truck and ate me Steak with Whiz and fries with Whiz and thought about all the mobsters who played on the ball field across the street and ate right where I was eating. South Philly was awesome we even road over to the Italian restaurant where Nicky Jr was shot by the say Skinny Joey, Anyway your channel is bad ass keep up the excellent work.

If he kicked a substantial hard drug habit cold turkey in a prison cell it is entirely feasible that he never touched drugs again. Unless you have done it, you can never understand how bad it is. It's not just the physical symptoms, although they are bad enough; it's the psychological nightmare you experience as well. We can never know if he did quit 100% forever, but it's more than possible. That's why in some ways a bareback cold turkey is the best method. It's not just getting off it's staying off!!!🙂👍💯🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

@Jonathan Collier. IT certainly is possible!! MY x husband did it in prison;he was an intervenious drug user for a long time and got caught up in ALOT of shit; got to spend 13+years in prison. Had to go through ALOT to get off the Coke habit and it DOESN'T look pretty what he went through. The needle 💉 Was his favorite, yet, All of a sudden, IT All disappeared and he was Left to decide what he wanted to do. He said he could get any drug in prison, yet he chose to get clean. He went through hell; The physical and mental stages were awful and it took awhile before he left that behind him!! Now, thirty three years clean and he's never gone back to it. IT was amazing how he did it; cold turkey is absolutely a terrible way to do it; but that's what he chose and he's glad he did. Knowing he could get anything in prison;any drug I Was floored to get informed of it. So that MADE it much harder to quit. I'm proud of him for getting clean and reuniting with our beautiful daughter. He's come a long way!! Cold turkey is a BITCH!!!

Okay, so I can vouche for the dope-sick kick in lock up and staying sober. There are a whole of cats who have been forced down this route. Let me paint you a picture! So they come by and say I don't look so good. How astute of you deputy, isn't amazing the amount of isht and vomit can come out of one person. Of course they didn't want to touch me as I had just spent the better part of my day wallowing in this filth. I'd only move when my body spased again, alerting me that stomach acid needed to come on up! Finally, after being awake all of 11 days minus 15mins here or there, they decided I should get to my doctor! They figured they pushed my body almost to a stroke and the fun was over. All that fun watching a human on the brink of death w/o the paperwork for an actual body! Ppl wonder why I feel like I do for law enforcement. Doing a job is one thing, taking pleasure in another's pain is something else.

I'd like to hear more about the family closest to me, St. Louis's Giordano Crime Family. Tony G was a very, very powerful boss, w/close ties to the Chicago Outfit and the Detroit Partnership. And of course The Civella Family in KC.

@@thesitdownwithjeffnadu That's awesome! Tell em anything he needs to know abt St. Louis's Giordano Crime Family, or The Syrian Mob's leader there, & the last of the old Cuckoos, James 'Horseshoe Jimmy' Michaels.... I got em! Hehe. But don't worry, I'll definitely be watching! One can only here abt the Five Families, The DeCavalcantes, or the Bruno Family, outta Philly, so many times, ya know?! Great work, man. BTW, as an aside, Michael Franzese insists that Russell Bufalino wasn't a boss. That means he must've just been a very powerful caporegime in a family. I'm thinking the Brunos or The Genovese, if so. Anything you could find out abt that would be awesome, as well. You do great work, brother!👍

John Gotti Jr. Is 1/2 Jewish Tommy Karate is also 1/2. I can see giving someone deserving so a pass if you're 50%. I hear they are even making guys who are only 1/4 Italian, if the Father's are Italian. The underground Club is about finished. The higher Up's are guys now in their 70's who didn't hold much merit back then and they escaped indictment, they are softer and the fear factor isn't in it anymore. This guy was a total nut. He got shot I believe 4 or 5 times and fought his killer's off.
