    Therapy? No this is church, avoiding potholes is paying a tithe 🤣.
    The setting on this camera made the video quality look darker than the previous camera, I was hyper aware just watching it 🤣. Excellent video.

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for joining the mass lol. With the microphone next to the motor to get a clearer sound, you can really hear how harsh the potholes are. Without the distraction of the vlogging, I feel like folks can focus on the roads more and see how bad the car roads are in NYC lol.
      The darker appearance is because the new camera allows me to set a “range” for the ISO. It allows me to record in really dark areas and really bright areas like time square. Not sure if you noticed, but I never passed through TSQ at night before because it gets super blown out since the cameras settings were set for darker environments and couldn’t change like this one. The problem with “setting a range” for ISO is, you have to rely on the onboard AI to make the adjustments properly so it will never be as clear as the dedicated settings on the previous camera! We kind of have to sacrifice some light in order to have more diverse routes 🥲. Maybe when the AcePro 2 comes out and it has a wider angle, we’ll finally need able to get epic night settings but we’ll just keep dialing it in and make the best of the X4.
      P.S. I was also messing with the color grading in this video to try and give it that more cinematic, moody, dark knight feel 😂
      Hope the explanation helps!

      Thanks for watching and thank you for the feedback Weldon! I’m still in the process of dialing in the settings even further for a crisper video. I’m also messing with the color grading as well since I want this playlist to look more cinematic and “dark knightish” compared to the more vloggy rides! Hopefully, we’ll have it down in the next couple of months 🙏🏼

    Wow, your night camera settings look great! You really got it dialed in! Extra crispy! Also, whatever your FOV is set at looks stellar! Nice ratio of POV street view and handlebars!

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  3 месяца назад

      thanks for joining us for the ride Erock and thank you for the valuable feedback! I'm still working on dialing in the sharpness and ISO range so I'm happy to hear everyone is still enjoying it! I can get it a little more crispy and I can get it a little brighter but I'm really trying to maximize these small sensors on the X4! The FOV is also custom set since we have the ability to control it in FreeForm mode now. Its tough to find the balance of street view, cockpit, and distortion.
      I also started messing around with color grading on this one to make it seem more cinematic!

  • @JohnnyPrimeCC
    @JohnnyPrimeCC 3 месяца назад +2

    The settings look great! Nice and smooth, no image noise and low shake/blur. I have to give mine another go, and maybe use a chin mount for extra stability

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  3 месяца назад +2

      Thanks for the feedback! The new camera finally came with the option to set the range with “iso” so if can finally ride through really bright portions of the city like TSQ and Herald Square with out getting blown out. The only catch is the darker areas won’t be as good since it’s not specifically set for it but i don’t mind losing a little quality there to have less restrictions when riding! I have to mess with the image sharpness and see if it helps make it crispy but we’ll see how it turns out.
      I think the helmet mount would definitely help. Make sure you get chinmounts. It’s pricier but much more stable than the grip style ones. If you want to borrow a grip style one, I can lend you my old one. Just let me know!

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  3 месяца назад

      thanks for joining us for this ride and welcome to the channel! I would reach out to @handlworks about that. It sounds like your battery cant support the draw of the tuning from the controller and it's shutting off. I had that issue when I took my second battery off and kept the dual battery set up on the controller. I dropped it down to mode 2 and was still able to complete the 6 mile ride home with out it shutting down. They'll probably have to walk you through some settings for the controller.
      I hope it gets sorted out because it really is an exceptional controller

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  3 месяца назад

      thanks for joining us for this ride therapy session and welcome to the channel! I love the new settings that I flashed over on the @handlworks BAC855. The bike is finally perfect. Low end torque isn't going to blow you away like a Surron or an Onyx but its sufficient for 99% of situations in urban riding. The acceleration from 5-35+mph however is incredible compared to the stock settings. Im about 210lbs with all my gear and my work backpack and I've been able to hit 39mph on the display. If you want to see my thought s on it I have 2 videos about it that go into more details:

      I can definitely see the vehicles in my peripherals and behind me with the placement. Since these bars are new and a bit narrower, I've been thinking about changing the mirrors and moving them to the end. I used to have them in the middle like that because the Blain Handlebars that came stock with the S73 were wide as heck and anything added to the end would clip door frames in buildings and vehicles on the roads since everything is so tight around here lol
      Hope this answers the question

      @@eyebahnrides No worries, I do appreciate the reply! Yes, a _ride therapy session,_ that's what it is. It is surprisingly fixating, even with minimal talking.
      I'm thinking the only mirror that's going to work for me is a helmet mirror. I have a hard time diverting my attention downward to check my speed or put my finger on the blinker, but I'm pretty new to riding.
      What surprised me most is how it really does _shrink_ the city, allowing you to get around much faster than with a car.
      Cheers friend.

      Honestly, I’m just going to remove it. My goal with that link was to provide an alternative to the ones I’m currently using and ones that I’ve used before. It does say on the link “similar mirrors”. Like I said in my response to your previous comment, the difference between Kemimoto rounds and the ones I purchased from a local shop here in NYC is minimal. I used to use the kemimotos for quite a while so I’m very familiar with them. From the aluminum cnc neck to the blue tint on the glass they’re pretty much similar. They both have the option to be mounted on the end or on the middle.

      It really depends on the situation honestly. Just like there’s no one tool for every job I don’t think you can just have one EV. If I choose Scooter, I won’t be able to haul my family around when I have kids. However, if I had to choose one it would be an eboard/euc. I’ll have a gas powered suv on the side. The reason I would go with an eskateboard/EUC. They just offer the best performance for size, decent range, and good portability. I could basically load it into any vehicle, walk them into any shop, and on to any form of public transportation and never really have an issue. I would probably choose an imotion v12 or an Onsra Velar. Great companies, great performance, decent range, ip rated, and good support! network

( it broke/snapped a smaller pit bike shock ) with 12kw on the Front end. Now for a 180cc-250cc motorcycle front end! That should show the power who's boss? 🤔 I hope ? It rides like a heavy cruser. Very aggressive at 40kw . It turns out that PPE is always a great idea 💡 😀 now to buy knee pads and gloves !
