What a beautiful song! There is no way to listen and not be moved. It's a deep feeling of love for all fans and armys. It hurts my heart to know that everything they have done to date has only been talking about overcoming, joy and love in their songs. And today they are being prepared by taking up arms, to learn to defend their country, for a supposed war. This is very sad. They have already overcome many challenges in life, to overcome borders and take their music to the world. I hope that this is another challenge for all of them, to return stronger and continue doing what they love, which is singing and dancing to bring joy to the world with the charisma and potential that each one has. You described the members perfectly. They are such decent and humble guys. I agree with you about how the guys getting back together and spending time with each other are more important than releasing music right away. They need time to readjust when they return to civilian life such as spending time with their family. I can only imagine how much their families are going to want to spend time with them when they return. I don't want them rushing the process as their mental health is more important than trying to appease us. If you think about it, the guys have spoiled us all these years with so much content and music turnaround. No artist/group pumps out as much music as these guys have. It's been non-stop. Artists generally release music every couple of years or longer. These guys have given us so much, so we need to be patient and understanding and not expect them to be releasing music in 2025.

I knew better but I had to watch your reaction to Closer Than This. Here I am bawling again missing our sweet Jimin. I’ve said for years I could never have a bias because it would be like choosing one of children, grandchildren and or great grandchildren as a favorite. I’m sad that they’re all away from us but proud that they’re serving their country as all other males have to. They haven’t been gone long and I finally realized that I miss tender hearted Jimin the most. Don’t get me wrong lol, he can be a stinker but no one tugs at my heart and makes me smile more than Jimin. And this too shall pass… so they say. It’s Christmas Eve here in the US so I’m caught up in it all I guess. Long story sorry. Thank you for your reactions. They were truly wonderful and informative. There is no one in this world like BTS, I am so proud of them and I hope they are proud of themselves for all they have achieved and accomplished. They give you a sense of hope and courage. I have been crying ever since 12/11/2023 up to this day. I'm crying happy and sad tears. Waiting for their safe return.

13:04 Actually, the FACE album doesn't have a resulotion, basically it's just another loop like Lie, it has no particular beginning nor end. So it's just never ending suffering and struggle, although the album is very dark, it has a very light message. Which is "hope". If you remember, he has tattoos all over his body which is a poem written in german. And the overall message of that poem is that the speaker is aware that it's useless to break free from the never ending circles/cycles but he intends on trying.
I also like how they pair in there English and Korean. I mean it’s so well done. I know that’s nothing but it amazes me. Music business is really hard I think. And I think it’s triple hard for bts because they are so big. I notice lots of these K-pop entertainers don’t say they’re going g to ever get married which makes me wonder about the sacrifices they actually make. The strength of Jimin to go to all the single shows and supports them all. So strong. If Jimin has really lost his self , which I don’t believe , could be why army is so important. Army and bts are one is some sense.so imagine all the world loves each other this much.
The solos from the Wings albums are actual very personal to the members, but they also can fit into the BU. Personally, I think that they took the songs and then adjusted the narrative of the BU to fit the songs better. To me, the "lie" that Jimin is trapped in is the image that ARMY has of him compared to how he sees himself. By trying to live up to ARMY's image of him, he's trapped and very unhappy. The lyrics don't really have much to do with the BU. That's the case for all of the BU songs. The BU story is told through the images of videos, not the lyrics of the songs. The songs are more closely related to Demien, I think, but still more about the members and their lives than anything else.

I’m in a similar mindset as you for the reunion in 2025. As much as I want to see them in concert, I really hope they take time to enjoy being out of the military (particularly the last members who come out last in June 2025) and spend time with family as well. I hope they will work on new music before going on a tour because the way the conversation feels about reuniting in 2025 is them going on tour almost immediately and I hope they will just take some time to reconnect, work/release new music and then tour. Plus, I need all the time I can get to save money!!!
What I love in BTS is that their music is both fictional and real at the same time. It's like they are basing their music out of fictions, characters, stories, books, etc. But what's happening in the fictional storyline is also happening to them.
It was so painfull when I heard Bang PDnim saying that he didn't want Jimin in BTS but the other members insisted to keep him with them. Jimin is such a great guy, hard working, sensitive and beautiful soul. We will always support him and we will wait for all of them to come back 💜
He didn't say that, he said he was skeptical to have Jimin join the team because he barely had any training compared to other members. 6 months of training while the others were trained for 1-2 years. He thought he wouldn't fit in because he didn't have the training the others did. But Jimin made it without any training, official vocal lessons with his sheer talent and hardwork, and the support of his members. And Bang pd admits that BTS wouldn't be BTS and would be disastrous without Jimin.

throughout the song it uses minor key except for a sudden change in chorus part, its a major key exactly at 'caught in a lie' in musically, major is associated with happiness and joy which completely the opposite of the song's whole vibe (many thoughts at first listening why would he put major key there?!) but thats the point, its used to emphasize that the happiness itself is a LIE, the major key is a LIE. i mean, since the day i found this out it never escapes my mind, it lives completely rent-free there, jimin is art itself creating masterpieces constantly.

A lot of the symbolism in these songs also has to do with the Bangtan Universe a continuous story that runs through a lot of the music videos and some of the story also found in the notes that were included in the albums and there was also a webtoon called "Save Me" There are layers to BTS songs. The meaning of the song and what they referenced for the album theme for example Demian, Map of the Soul etc. but there is also another fictional story that is running in the background...in that story Jimin is put in a hospital after witnessing a crime as a child at the Arboretum (what the sign 2.1 km was pointing to). So there is another layer of meaning built into this and the other wings MVs as well as some other MVs.

There is no one in this world like BTS, I am so proud of them and I hope they are proud of themselves for all they have achieved and accomplished. They give you a sense of hope and courage. I have been crying ever since 12/11/2023 up to this day. I'm crying happy and sad tears. Waiting for their safe return.

13:04 Actually, the FACE album doesn't have a resulotion, basically it's just another loop like Lie, it has no particular beginning nor end. So it's just never ending suffering and struggle, although the album is very dark, it has a very light message.

If you remember, he has tattoos all over his body which is a poem written in german. And the overall message of that poem is that the speaker is aware that it's useless to break free from the never ending circles/cycles but he intends on trying.

I also like how they pair in there English and Korean. I mean it’s so well done. I know that’s nothing but it amazes me. Music business is really hard I think. And I think it’s triple hard for bts because they are so big. I notice lots of these K-pop entertainers don’t say they’re going g to ever get married which makes me wonder about the sacrifices they actually make. The strength of Jimin to go to all the single shows and supports them all. So strong. If Jimin has really lost his self , which I don’t believe , could be why army is so important. Army and bts are one is some sense.so imagine all the world loves each other this much.

The solos from the Wings albums are actual very personal to the members, but they also can fit into the BU. Personally, I think that they took the songs and then adjusted the narrative of the BU to fit the songs better. To me, the "lie" that Jimin is trapped in is the image that ARMY has of him compared to how he sees himself. By trying to live up to ARMY's image of him, he's trapped and very unhappy. The lyrics don't really have much to do with the BU. That's the case for all of the BU songs. The BU story is told through the images of videos, not the lyrics of the songs. The songs are more closely related to Demien, I think, but still more about the members and their lives than anything else.

I’m in a similar mindset as you for the reunion in 2025. As much as I want to see them in concert, I really hope they take time to enjoy being out of the military (particularly the last members who come out last in June 2025) and spend time with family as well. I hope they will work on new music before going on a tour because the way the conversation feels about reuniting in 2025 is them going on tour almost immediately and I hope they will just take some time to reconnect, work/release new music and then tour. Plus, I need all the time I can get to save money!!!

What I love in BTS is that their music is both fictional and real at the same time. It's like they are basing their music out of fictions, characters, stories, books, etc. But what's happening in the fictional storyline is also happening to them.
It was so painfull when I heard Bang PDnim saying that he didn't want Jimin in BTS but the other members insisted to keep him with them. Jimin is such a great guy, hard working, sensitive and beautiful soul. We will always support him and we will wait for all of them to come back 💜
He didn't say that, he said he was skeptical to have Jimin join the team because he barely had any training compared to other members. 6 months of training while the others were trained for 1-2 years. He thought he wouldn't fit in because he didn't have the training the others did. But Jimin made it without any training, official vocal lessons with his sheer talent and hardwork, and the support of his members. And Bang pd admits that BTS wouldn't be BTS and would be disastrous without Jimin.

He didn't even expand on what he DID say, and that was that Jimin was charming, talented but seemed incomplete and that he didn't want him to join. throughout the song it uses minor key except for a sudden change in chorus part, its a major key exactly at 'caught in a lie' in musically, major is associated with happiness and joy which completely the opposite of the song's whole vibe (many thoughts at first listening why would he put major key there?!) but thats the point, its used to emphasize that the happiness itself is a LIE, the major key is a LIE.
i mean, since the day i found this out it never escapes my mind, it lives completely rent-free there, jimin is art itself creating masterpieces constantly.

btw, that excerpt Namjoon says in the beginning is a quote from "Demian" by Hermann Hesse! that book was a huge inspiration for and influence on the Wings album, and if you read it after consuming all the Wings media (the short films, MVs, and such) you can definitely see it

A lot of the symbolism in these songs also has to do with the Bangtan Universe a continuous story that runs through a lot of the music videos and some of the story also found in the notes that were included in the albums and there was also a webtoon called "Save Me" There are layers to BTS songs. The meaning of the song and what they referenced for the album theme for example Demian, Map of the Soul etc. but there is also another fictional story that is running in the background...in that story Jimin is put in a hospital after witnessing a crime as a child at the Arboretum (what the sign 2.1 km was pointing to). So there is another layer of meaning built into this and the other wings MVs as well as some other MVs.
