Just loaded up both sound sets. My REV2 sounds like a real Prophet now!! I really like the fact that almost all of your patches are NOT using the built-in reverb of the REV2. Instead, you add the built-in delays or phaser or chorus. It's so much better to do it this way so that you get the benefit of a specialized effect on each patch. Then you can add your own dedicated higher quality reverb like I do with my Strymon. Also, the use of velocity, aftertouch, and mod wheel on almost all the patches really adds to the ability to play expressively. Both of your sound sets provide both well-known sounds but also quite a few unique offerings that will really help to spice things up! Thanks again for these 2 great sound sets!
Wow, its crazy some of the FM-style sounds you can get out of this! I was pretty much set on a prologue (somewhat because of the ability to incorporate FM synthesis as well as the VCOs) but after seeing videos of both it and the rev 2, the rev 2 just seems to have all the vibes im looking for. And 4 LFOs!!
Fantastic sounds for a superb synth ,though your bank "deep impression" for DM was a real top notch work that will be hard to beat.....On the other hand i cant keep thinking what could you do with the extra 8 voices if it were a 16 voice machine, after long hesitation i got the expansion voices and that makes a huge difference you wouldn´t belive!Only wish i had your "soundsculpting" gift.....so guess i haft to buy this one as well!Keep up your good and interesting work Christian.
These are Wonderful Sounds for the REV2. Why don't you have a website to sell your various synth patches ? Wouldn't that make more sense than emailing you for info. or to order something ? Thanks.
Wow! I have to say I hate you...I'm trying so hard to save my money for a Prophet X and here you come with stellar, I mean absolutely amazingly stellar Rev 2 sounds... You're making life hard for me... You had great P6 sounds as well!!
A question : after you, what are the big differences between Prophet Rev2 and Behringer DM12 ? Are DeepMind 12's DCO so thin ? Because the sound of Prophet is seems fuller, more vast, than the DM12 ?
Your patches are really great! I am just sad that I own a Prophet 08 instead of the Prophet Rev 2 because I can't use these patches. DSI told me that patches from Prophet 08 are compatible with the Rev 2 whereas they aren't compatible vice versa.
thanks! Well, with the REV2 you have layers, splits, two arpeggiators at once, bigger modulation matrix, effects and so on, it would be impossible to achieve this with the Prophet 08, so I fully understand that it can't be compatible.
i think your reverb is natural and you can spot it ine every synth you demoing. I think you record from your camera. Some times I hear the keys clicking while you playing.
In the past I often added a little microphone signal to the direct line signal, to get a more natural feel with key noises, switch noises,... But recently I do direct line recording only, like in this vid.
Do you want these patches (sounds) for your PROPHET REV2? You can buy these patches. Read the video description for details.

Sequential should get you to do an entire bank of factory presets. You have serious skills!
thanks!

Prophet Rev2 seems like it can do everything the Prologue can do and then some

I think that I prefer this collection to your other REV 2 volume

How did you make the patch at 10:18?
why did i almost cry when the only you sound came on?
AWESOME! I have to get this set
love the sounds - makes me want one! you really should look into the novation peak, would love to hear your patches on it...

of course they are different, buy what you like. I like both, none of them is thin, both are great synths
The DM 12 is a gorgeously rich sounding synth. And so is this, with quite a different sound signature. Your patches are excellent. Buying both sets
At last! Playable sounds. Far better than the presets.
Wow
You sold me one sir!
Sequential should thank me... I want a Prophet-10 for free
@@AnalogAudio1 yeah great piece of art. Still saving money for Jupiter X though. Its or the rev2 or the jupiter x. Imma real polysynth type o guy.
Hello Rev2 or Prophet6?
I want it NOW
Sounds ace
Hi, is there any difference between Dave Smith Rev2 and the one with “sequential” name on the right hand side ?
Dave Smith finally got his original brand back, so "Dave Smith Instruments" is called "Sequential" now. The Prophet REV2 stays the same.
Okay i'm getting one
Are you planning to make a new one soon ? :)
I created two soundsets, I think this is enough, they cover a wide range
@@AnalogAudio1 OK, thank you !!! :)

Hi, can we install it without the REV2 proprietary software? Thank you.
There are many ways to load a sysex file . I personally use the MIDI-OX software.

Can you use these patches with Prophet 08?
