Love this! St Andrews is my favourite place and I visit every year. I'm just back from 10 days there and this video transports me right back.

Bad choice of route, should not have turned right into Market Street...

thank you for viewing my video and your comment, Ian, cannot drive straight ahead though, as you cannot drive West Port from that side

I live here old son... Did you only have the one visit here? You're far from familiar with the town layout. From Bell Street you for no reason clear to me turned right into Market Street (like I said) where you should have gone straight ahead down Greyfriars Gardens. Thereby going round three sides of a block unnecessarily. No huge deal, but fact is I'm right. And you're, regrettably, not. All in fun, mind you. I didn't suggest you continue along South Street as you're inferring here... :)
By the way, many years back you could indeed have used the West Port as an exit from South Street - they reversed the one-way direction. I've got a long memory for long-ago stuff, it's my short term one that's bloody awful!

Well, I lived in St Andrews for 12 years. Tour guests wanted to drive that way. Americans, so you will understand. I actually passed my driving test in St Andrews, in a Mini Cooper, which was fun

Me too, but not in a Mini Cooper. The reason for commenting was so other watchers might realise they were driving in what seemed to me a strangely guided route. If you'd rather I removed my comments, I'll happily do so for you.
