Rimuru is definitely one of the strongest anime characters you’ll find. I haven’t seen every anime/manga, but based on what other anime normally show as a pretty strong character Rimuru definitely has to be up there. She/he literally raised half a nation back from the dead. It’s also probably because they have Great Sage l/Raphael/etc. to help in combat and is pretty clever naturally like that time they barely escaped death by making a duplicate of their-self and having that take the killing blow. That was before she became a demon lord as well.
