this is a place I have never been to. the water level is so low but if you see the lake at Las Vegas it is also very low. so proud of Mark jogged all that distance and still had enough energy to hold up the flag pole. Like I said I have never been there but now I can say I have, I was with Mark and Sue
I have to say Ernest, Sue is a master at saying she loves me as well as showing me. The second item is of course the most genuine. Don't know why I got so lucky, and I'm not going to ask any questions in case it was a mistake!
O I must say that I love the east launch ramp! Not many with such room. Lake Hughes Rd will take you to the backsides of the San Francisco dam that collapsed in 1938 I believe. THANKS SAFE TRAVELS!
Very interesting! Loved the beauty of nature and was intrigued by the thought of water cascading down that huge spill way. Thank you for always brining multiple perspectives!
Thanks for the Pro Tip: When going into the park have your spouse run into the park so you can pay the single occupant entrance fee. Anything to save a few bucks!
Great tip! I also make her wear a grey wig so she can get the senior discount as well at many of the fine restaurants I take her to. For instance, with the wig she gets free McCoffee at our breakfast cafe' place,.......
Mark and Sue thank you for a wonderful video. And good job Mark, if I had done that run I most likely would have given myself a heart attack. Safe travels.
That's the plan! I am loading all our stops into RV Trip Wizard, and it looks like 43 stops between now and the 2022 Florida RV Supershow! We will talk about our plans soon.
Great video. That is a great area and we enjoyed it when we were there a couple years ago. I think we need to go back. You are that close you should do all the Hollywood stuff.
Hi Mark and Sue! Very nice tour of that lake. I was wondering if Mark would and counsel make that run and prayed he did and he did. It’s beautiful there. The other side is more better more boat launching. Thank looked fun to do when you brought food to picnic with on your bikes. Too bad you drove later on and not road your bikes. Or was it too far of a bike ride? At least you both had fun. Thank you for this video.
....the guitar music was perfectly done and complimented your video at the end......nice. Is there a story for your Marrco's pet name, or am I reading too much into it? Seems to be a perfect name for a triathelete.
Hey Larry, this is Sue.... there is a story. Mark and I met through swing dancing. When we started dating we took another dance class that included latin dances like salsa, merengue, rumba, cha-cha, etc. When doing these dances during class, we were really sweating, even though it didn't seem like we were moving much compared to swing dance. So after a break we were back with the class... sweating again. I looked at Mark in a sassy way and said, "Oh Marco.... when I dance with you I get so... Hot!" We both broke out laughing and had the whole class' attention. And there it is... the story! Thanks for asking...😁
We are in Eugene Oregon now! We loved our "Covid Stay" in Santa Clarita. So nice to be hunkered down with our RV friends Barb & Cyndi while we waited for things to improve!
Enjoyed the video that lake is really beautiful with that deep blue water. Just wondering, the "No Motor Vehicle" sign in the video, are your electric assist bicycles considered motor vehicles in this context?
Not sure,.........we have been nervous a few times on the bikes here in California, especially on the Pacific Ocean coast trails. So far, so good! We try to go slow when folks are around, and always try to be pedaling.
The part where the camera fell over after your romantic lunch cracked both of us up. We watched it a couple of times. BTW, very interested in your e-bikes. I know you've done several videos about them but I'm still interested in how many miles you get out of a charge.
We can get an easy 60-70 miles. We only charge them every other, or every third time we use them. If we knew the area we were riding in, I would bet a person could ride it more like 4 or 5 times before you need to charge it. The batteries are special, GIANT ones at 21Ah.

You would be amazed how a bottle of spring water can look like sweat if properly applied.
@@OurJourneyInMyles I keep forgetting you guys are making a movie LOL
Just so beautiful takes your breath away . I really loved the way that you put this video together. I'm still tagging alone and enjoying every video !
Thank you so much Jeff! Sue does the complex videos, and I do the easy ones!
Excellent video Sue I like how you comforted Marko by putting your arm around him and making him feel safe and loved on the bench

Sue and Mark, thanks for another great video. I always look forward to my Sunday visits with you. 😀
Our pleasure William!
THAT WAS GREAT!!!!! 08:09
That truly was a bonus moment!

I googled the San Francisco Dam collapse in 1938! Wow,...........what a disaster!
Very interesting! Loved the beauty of nature and was intrigued by the thought of water cascading down that huge spill way. Thank you for always brining multiple perspectives!
Glad you enjoyed it. That spillway is the safety valve. It must be scary seeing it kick in!
Thanks for sharing this review of the location! We will put on our bucket list. Thanks Mark and Sue! Stay safe and healthy! Safe travels!
Thanks for coming along Ramon.
I liked that best dam water,by the dam! Lol! Happy Trails!
You and me both! I use that joke every chance I get!

Your welcome Randy!
nice area the high vis jackets are a smart idea with the bikes
We think so too! We are going to get new ones because these are quite faded now!
we have vests but high vis is very important
Thanks so much for sharing! I really appreciated Mark's comments on the engineering. Have you been to the Hoover Dam yet? Another engineering marvel.
Yes I have, and loved the visit and tour. It is quite the tourist "event" in high season.
U guys are great narrators
I always tell Sue I like what she has to tell us!
Excellent and informative film. Amazing I live 30 minutes from that lake and never knew all this great stuff keep up the good work Thomyt
Thanks, will do Thomas!
Very interesting tour. Too bad you had to drive everywhere and couldn't enjoy your electric bikes. I guess you'll be heading north soon.

We haven't ventured down their due to Covid. What we really wished was open would be the Presidential Libraries!
After what happened in Orville, they are checking lots of spillways. But the drought still happening in this area this year.
Glad to see the water department being proactive!
As always, wonderful video!!
Thanks again Kimberley!

Great video looks like a great place to spend a day👍
Definitely is Kevin! We will have a video soon on our 4 overnight stay in this campground.
...guess that was the tipping point of this adventure...
Great line,...........I had to think about that!
Once again, thank you both for taking a long, I must put this location on my bucket list.

STUMPS !!! I cant make it to the porta-jon!

LOL at Marcossssssssss!
Hey,....thanks for stopping by!
What's the range on your e-bikes?
The bikes have 750 Watt hubs, 1000 watt peak. Batteries are 21Ah. We can get an easy 60 miles. We have never run out, and now only charge them even other or every third trip out!
@@OurJourneyInMyles Wow, that's really good! The ones I was looking at to buy have a range of up to 40 miles it says. That's a nice size battery
