I'm curry, an ex professional valorant player who has previously played for teams such as C9 Valorant and T1 Valorant. This was way too funny cos I use a mouse like that too, if I try to move fast to the side with a full arm movement, it just completely goes crazy sand that sucks cos I am not a high sense player, once the enemy is behind of directly to my side, I am as good as dead

for anyone wondering the main issue with the mouse accuracy is the low IPS of the sensor it means that if u move above a certain speed it cant catch all the movements done so u have to play with high sense to reduce that effect
what should be the minimum ips for smooth movements?

As someone who played with a 20 years old mouse, after I bought a decent one, I instantly ranked 2 whole ranks higher. The other mouse was supposed to take care of me once I retired, but it left us too soon 😭.
To sum up, mouse really does matter
def playing on a heavier mouse and i rarely hit flicks or insane shots anymore than when i played with a lighter mouse

I’d like to see a 60hz vs 144hz vs 240hz (and up if you’d like) monitor comparison. 1 game on each monitor to see if there is a “game changing” difference.. I think the idea would be cool considering curry the na Saint would be doing it 🤷🏻♂️

there is a baseline after which the upgrades to your peripherals dont matter, you need at least 500hz mouse with a semi competent sensor, keyboard just needs minimal delay, like i used a $10 one for a while and it was fine except for the one key never working. for mouse i spent $20 or so for some gamdius zeus thing, sucks compare to my current mouse but it didnt lag back like this one, headset honestly anything with stereo audio is fine, like not great but itll work, i used to use a cupstacking mat as a mousepad as well.
60 hz is also fine to get to the higher ranks tbh, 144 defo huuge upgrade but you can play fine on both

This issue with a low end mouse is that you'll have low polling rate which means if you move it too fast you'll have delayed or choppy movement.. So even if yall are buying a low budget mouse go for one with a high polling rate.
How do you see that? Is it in the specs?
