Only if you pick fire. I'm doing a couple of playthroughs of each game so I can try out each starter once but when I picked fire I nearly always regretted it shortly afterwards (except for once and that was Cyndaquil).
+XP453DX I honestly don't think it was really effective. Either way you choose, Lee dies. Yes it effects the little girl however you don't get to live along side her emotions afterwards. The game ends shortly after that. If there was a option to let Lee live or die from a zombie bite, that would have been better in my opinion.
RUDE, she went through stuff man. her dad DIED, and then her only friend LEFT not even a week later, and then it took her years to find another friend (just 1) and she ended up being drugged, kidnapped, and killed. so I think she deserves some leverage
Shitty ending. Choose to save the town, everyone lives but Chloe; choose to save Chloe, everyone dies. Every decision you made through the game made no difference in the end
And also the choice where you either go back in time to prevent Chloe’s biological father from the car accident he died in or you don’t, and saving him causes Chloe to be rendering quadriplegic in a car accident and is suffering a slow death.
Yeah tbh Life is Strange really fucked with me. It's like...WAIT SPOILER It's like, "Kill your best friend so you can save everyone! But here, let's play her funeral so that you can reflect on what you just did!" Or, "kill the entire town just to save one person! But you're gonna ride though the town to see ALL the people you just killed!"
I dunno, I really took a dislike to Chloe, so I tried to just be a generally good person unless the decision factored in Chloe, in which I'd go out of my way to make things worse for her (except for pulling the plug on her, I have a heart).
Did you a) be a sick and not water the plant or b) be a decent human being and water the plant . . . . . . this is the most important choice in the game... . . . . . . . . . not lmaooo
Alice Wasteland We got to meet Lee. So that was in my opinion the saddest part. Those two guys we didnt knew much about and Sarah died in the first 10 mins of the game
What about in Witcher 3 when you had to choose whether or not to kill the tree spirit? My memory is fuzzy, but I remember that if you kill the spirit, you save the children being held by the 3 wicked sisters, but doom the village and opposite if you spared the spirit.
+Cherry Pauper You don't save the children if you kill the spirit, in fact, they get eaten by the crones if you do it and the Baron's wife gets kinda crazy. If you free the spirit, then it saves the children but the villagers get killed, the baron's wife is cursed and eventually die and the baron himself commits suicide.
+Alan Campos It's even possible to do the tree spirit quest before being asked to by the crones, however, if you free the spirit this way, the town AND the children die. So that's the only way to free the tree AND save the Baron's wife...not that they really deserve being saved. that town can go fuck itself though, and becomes a good source of gem dusts from the wraiths, so I know what choices I make every future playthrough.
I would really say "just about any decision in any of the Witcher games." Nothing works out well. Like- ever. They even had to make the ending to the entire franchise bittersweet, no matter what. Just.. Ouch. I love the series, but how brutal the world is can hurt. The thing that comes to mind most for me was 'Triss or Yen' in 3. I personally- a fan of the books- was always going to choose Yen. But seeing Triss' expression when you say goodbye on the docks? Ooouuuucccchhhhh.
That bit with Clem actually made me cry and I practically never cry. On one hand, I wanted to make sure she was strong enough to make a hard decision like that before I left her, but on the other hand, she'd been through so much I didn't want to ask her to do something like that.
+Amy Diaz Either let an entire town die to save one person, or kill a stupid, immature, selfish, and just outright terrible person to save an entire town, how are both of those wrong outcomes?
+MetallicaRules There are those who like Chloe, and those who don't. I've never been so torn by killing someone who felt like my best friend, and of course we're not going to have the same ideas of friends. So I can understand both sides, but for me it ripped me apart.
+MetallicaRules The game tells you that Chloe is "your" greastest friend, so it's emotionally heartbreaking to let her die. I didn't liked Life is Strange like many out there, but I did understood the concept. It's a lot like Last of Us, but worstly executed. But since you had no choice in Last of Us... well, at least I brought some tears to Lee and Clem.
+MetallicaRules Chloe definitely has her flaws, but I look at it as what if I had to choose between letting my best friend die or an entire town of people. I personally think the better choice (because neither of them feel right tbh) is to save the town, but dealing with your best friend's death is not an easy pill to swallow
+Twothless you dont have to kill him. You can go and talk to him on the mountain one last time, where you can decide to fight him, or let him fly off with the other dragons. Returning to the blades has them more or less abandon you. All you lose out on is the pretty pointless buff (extra dragon damage for 1-2 game days or something) and Blades that help you fight dragons, but the blades suck, and Parthunax is cool.
Dying Light: The Following at the end you loose either way (you nuke the whole city and die or are made to drink something that turns you into a monster)
I agree that life is strange should have at least been an honorable mention cause your morals make your feel bad depending on all the choices you make as well as the final to kill your best friend/possible lover to save everyone or kill the entire town to keep your best friend/possible lover
+The Rush Fudge That decision could of at least replaced the "Let go or let Hannah fall" decision from Until Dawn, cause they fall either way. While in Life is Strange it actually affected things
+Buckeye Boy Ben I completely forgot that one. There were decisions up the wazzoo in that campaign. Like what, 8 different endings for small things like not saving Karma in that megamall, which results in one of your team not taking a bullet for her on the S.S.Obama (LOL).
Mass Effect decision isn't that difficult... not hard to choose to save a more compassionate, higher-ranking biotic companion who'll be romanceable by BOTH Shepards... OR save an abrasive regular human who has an irritating chip on her shoulder towards aliens... in a game where you need to get along with aliens. If you're picking tough choices in Mass Effect, it'd be the decision of what to do about the Geth in ME2.
Oh right, Legion loyalty mission. I forgot it even existed, probably because i dont see a choice at all :P. Just reprogram them. Also might be that it was just before the suicide mission which was a lot more memorable.
+Ryan Mecca The "boss fight" with said friend has been branded in my memory as one of the hardest ever, despite being just three presses of the R1 button.
You left one off of your list. Jean Grey or Nightcrawler? -- Marvel Ultimate Alliance You have to rescue one of them in Mephisto's Realm, in Act 2 of the game. Who you choose will determine the end of the game. Saving Jean means Mystique shows up in the X Mansion, and kills everyone in their sleep, in an act of a mother's revenge. Saving Nightcrawler means Jean returns as the Dark Phoenix, wanting to punish the team for leaving her to suffer. I'm surprised this didn't make it to the list, not even as an honorable mention.
Skyrim u have to chose between killing a friendly dragon, or the blades. Kill a dragon who helps you, or kill a secret society of people who protected the king, and also helped you on your quest
Giving Matt or Emily the Flare Gun. If Matt doesn't have it, there's a possibility of him dying. If Emily doesn't have it, she WILL get bit. Either way, one of them could get screwed over.
+Benjamin Drake I cried at the Emd of Walking Dead Season one when I beat it. Granted I beat it like all in one setting, the the action of killing Lee just hours after finding out e is probably going to die from the bite. That was hard. That game was one of the hardest games of my life when it first came out and I played it. Love TWD
+Jose Brito wait, wasn't she blown up? Yes, I know it's a choice and so on. But let's face it. Liara is official Bioware's waifu that get's the most screentime and is suited for any character and will like you almost no matter what and Kaidan is more usefull then Ashley in battle however since neither of them is used most of the time that's not the point. Ashley refusing to take part in threesome and talking sh//t into my face from ME1 is. Left hugging nuke.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance, choose between saving Jean Grey or Nightcrawler. If you save Jean, Mystique kills Professor X in revenge and the X-Men disband. If you save Nightcrawler, Jean Grey returns as the Phoenix and lays waste to a city. edit: I just saw that someone else posted about this too, so I'm not alone. Not knowing the consequences, it was a tough call.
Eh, based on a comic universe. All characters eventually come back to life anyway. Death, to a X-Men character, is less a finite and tragic ending and more a way to pass the time.
The game "Life is Strange" had an unbelievably tough decision in episode 5 that had you to decide whether to sacrifice your best friend that you've grown attached to or an entire town of innocent people you've met throughout the game. Truly, I am disappointed it didn't make the list. I personally think that it could have replaced the fallout decisions.
+Salix Sepulcralis I'd say pick it up during a sale sometime and play it through in one or two days. Maybe like 1-1.5 hours per episode depending on if you skip through some dialogue or get stuck somewhere, but it's honestly one of my favorite games ever. Definitely the only game to make me ACTUALLY cry, that's for sure.
I'm....not sure why Until Dawn's thing was even in the honorary mentions. That particular choice literally doesn't matter. The whole point of the prologue is to SHOW that some choices don't matter: both girls fall either way. There are OTHER choices later on that matter SO MUCH MORE: for example, Chris having to pick whether to save Ashley or save Josh. That choice can have some HUGE repercussions later on if you get it wrong, even if it seems like it doesn't make a difference at the start
I really hate there was no way of cancelling that mission by either saying no or killing those asshole blades. It felt as if cannonically my character'd kill Paarthunax sooner or later.
Isn't the ending the Infamous 2 the most "fuck you player" moment of the series? Either help the beast slaughter millions and awaken people with powers or set off a bomb that kills you along with everyone else with powers or the potential to awaken powers. Like the game basically forces you to either choose to be a monster or a martyr which is bullshit and either way a ton of innocent people die.
FirasX It's annoying because there is so much potential in a game with choices but most games get super lazy with it and have the choices not mean much in the end anyway besides choice of power ups.
***** The second game was the same. Even though it starts with "Start the game with good or bad Karma" the game still starts with him going to stop the beast. Even though the Bad Karma ending of the first game clearly had him say he had no interest in fighting the beast! It's not like it would have been hard to make a real ending for the bad karma. Just have him take on the beast for selfish reasons. But nope even though he's supposed to be an evil bastard he's suddenly playing the hero. Really the game's Karma system was a complete failure because they half assed it so much.
***** I meant the second game was to the first game like second son was to the second game. Completely disregarding the bad end although they pretended like you could start the game on the bad Karma route.
+Metazoxan Dexall InFAMOUS3 with Beast Cole would be fucking awesome(becuz is the "tobecontinued" of the evil ending of infamous2. but nooooo! those Sucker Punch suckers made SECOND FUCKING SON!
+SheosMan117 Life is Strange? Eh, that's questionable. Doom a whole bunch of people for one person, or kill one person for a whole bunch of people? Clearly a choice between selfishness or selflessness. The Pitt, that's a really good one. Steal the "cure" for a group of slaves (Who Ashur commonly says are workers, not slaves) who you have no idea what they will do with it, or leave the cure into the hands of Ashur. Really hard choice. I stole the baby, then immediately regretted it lol
That, and with Pitt, you're naturally inclined against the raiders, because they're raiders. And the only reason Ashur calls them workers is for morale reasons, even though they are worked like slaves. I've done it once on each side, twice I stole the baby so far, the second time I did so was because of a mod for Mothership Zeta Crew, and I basically ignored everyone, fight-wise. Same thing for when I sided with the raiders once. You don't get such a bad taste in the mouth if you don't kill anyone on either side.
Not so sure that's a get wrong either way. Mainly because one is clearly evil and submitting to your own greed. Besides, some mods can add weapons more powerful than anything in the vanilla game, along with tougher enemies to use them on.
+SheosMan117 Since we are talking about Fallout, what about the giant Nuke in the beginning of the game. When you have to choose what to do with that. I am not 100% sure, but I think it gets blown up rather you decided to blow it up or not? I might be wrong about that one tho. Either way, still a cool decision.
+Syncro “Aveo” No-city yeah dude that's a tough one. Even on my evil playthrough, I let Megaton go because I can't stand killing all those people, plus losing the shops.
Fire Emblem Awakening was a big descision that didn't even matter: give King Gangrel the Fire Emblem to save Emmeryn, or let her die and keep the Fire Emblem. She either kills herself, or gets shot up by archers.
Fallout 4, you either blow up humanity's greatest threat(however you see it), the synths but you kill a bunch of innocents; or you kill the faction that will preserve technology and continue to fight threats against humanity
If the Institute was not at Handsome Jack levels of douchebaggary I would have sided with them. They would literally just have a synth say _grow this plant and tell us what happens_ or _can you grow this plant, it will do really cool shit for you_ etc. Jesus Shaun, get off your lumbering ass...
+Waffle Demon I got a glitch in my second run through when I let him die. He still called me, but if I exepted to go pick him up no one would be at the spot where I was supposed to pick him up.
There's actually a third option in Infamous! I speedrun the game, and someone in our community found that if you shoot one of the doctors (you start closer to their building and not Trish's) with the Precision power after Kessler shuts up, it counts as an Evil karma decision and triggers the post-mission cutscene. It's obviously much faster than climbing either building, but doing it makes it appear that the developers intended for this possibility -- the cutscene is ever so slightly changed too.
That choice was torture since I too loved them both, but everytime I play through I always pick Legion. Tali is one of the coolest squad mates have right after Garrus and Wrex but the Geth is a race that was never given the opportunity to live properly. Their freedom was never an option before that decision so... I feel like shit taking that away. It doesn't help that Tali kills herself afterwards..
Not a hard decision since the correct one is to SIN down, STAY there and ENJOY the Crab Rangoon. Pagan Min is the real true choice when you go through every ending and find out what the Golden Path was really up to. He gives you the country and you run it as you see fit, both Amata and Sabal are killed and the Golden Path (who are terrible) is dissolved.
My fave was the ending of Infamous 2. They had it so that if you activated the RFI you'd wipe out the radion and save everyone, but you'd kill every conduit on the planet...but if you didn't and took the side of the beast you'd spare them...but kill off the rest of humanity.
Infamous 2 ended the franchise perfectly (don't you dare try and correct me), the ending was perfect, sacrifice yourself for the good of the world, in a sad ending were your best friend grieves for you, or fuck the world, I want to live (also the safer route of keeping humanity alive), but this is where the game fucks with you for choosing the evil ending, and you end up feeling like the biggest dickhead who ever walked the earth, especially if you are doing a second play through after the one where you were a saint, you kill your best friend, how it is done is perfect, after rampaging through the entire city killing all who try and stand in you way with ease, you reach you destination, the place you are going to end it all. then out walks your buddy zeke, holding his favourite gun, he looks at you as you look at him and you both know he stands no chance, he shrugs and says "I have to try..." then he shoots at you, slowly not wanting to hurt you, and then the game auto aims at him, and tells you to kill him. because if everything building up to this moment I fire singular slow shots at him not wanting to kill him, each one making him violently spasm and fall to the ground, seeing his skeleton flash through as the electricity courses through his veins, then slowly he gets up and it the cycle starts again... this is how you do a consequences in a game people, I know the system as a whole was bad but sucker punch perfected the ending without a doubt
How do you make a list about this without The Witcher III on it at all...? Seriously, the game is the greatest representation of uncertain decision making in games.
Hell fucking yes. But... worth it! in that evil ending Cole got new fucking powers and he is still alive... unlike ESCONDE FUCKING SON! Where is Cole? oh yeah... HES DEAD!! Such a shame
Fallout 3- The Pitt, Tenpenny Tower Quest Mass Effect- Battle of the Citadel, Falling Skies Mass Effect 2- Legion's Loyalty Mission, Zaeed's Loyalty Mission Mass Effect 3- Battle of Rannoch, Curing the Genophage, Rachni Mission, The Ending Call of Duty Black Opts 2- Menedez's Fate Infamous 2- The Ending Fallout: New Vegas- Lonesome Road, Dead Money, Honest Hearts
+Mist Village I know. That didn't any sense. The video was wrong about there not being a wrong choice though. If you don't help the people escape you find out later that the NCR crops have failed anyway.
+Mist Village cause technically the terminal you use only has enough power left to make one choice or the other, and your character does not want to just clean up the area to make it to the trap individuals. who are trap below. you would think having 100 science and 100 repair you could fix every machine you can touch, but no.
Harold has been through enough. As a tree in Fallout 3, He decides that he doesn't want to live after being rooted to the SAME spot for decades, and asks you to kill him.
Dude Infamous 2, The end where you side with John/The Beast made me want to cry and I don't remember the last time I cried but it came close to making me cry, I did not want to kill Zeke.
Jesus Christ, WatchMojo, how about your next list, Top 10 Japan-Only NES Games That Did Not Contain Anything Terrifyingly Interesting If You Broke Them Open?
We're is save The City or kill Chloe from Life Is Strangre ?
sacrificing chloe is the best and right choice.
That isnt a choice. It says "End the game or save chloe"
+Carlos Henrique Prado What are you talking about, in one of those endings, Chloe is gone forever, that's the greatest thing ever.
+christopher Merrilees
Not for the PriceField worshipers tho :v

You forgot Chloe or Arcadia Bay from "Life is Strange"
RUDE, she went through stuff man. her dad DIED, and then her only friend LEFT not even a week later, and then it took her years to find another friend (just 1) and she ended up being drugged, kidnapped, and killed. so I think she deserves some leverage
that wasn't hard, chloe was annoying
Shitty ending. Choose to save the town, everyone lives but Chloe; choose to save Chloe, everyone dies. Every decision you made through the game made no difference in the end
Alex Bordo That one is easy. You just save Arcadia Bay because you're gonna sacrifice a whole turn or one person.
And also the choice where you either go back in time to prevent Chloe’s biological father from the car accident he died in or you don’t, and saving him causes Chloe to be rendering quadriplegic in a car accident and is suffering a slow death.

Yeah that was my immediate first choice
I dunno, I really took a dislike to Chloe, so I tried to just be a generally good person unless the decision factored in Chloe, in which I'd go out of my way to make things worse for her (except for pulling the plug on her, I have a heart).
Definitely. It was the one time I actually tried to do right by Chloe (probably cos she acted quite different in that timeline).

Soooooooo sacrificing your best friend or the entire town in Life is Strange isn't even an honorable mention?
Right
I mean not really save one or save a bunch. I mean if it was my life I would rather die then let a bunch die
Still though. You either lose your best friend or everyone else. It's horrible and fucked me up pretty badly.
This video is old so I don't think it was out when they made it
+Snaphead 1
they made this video earlier today -_-
I like games that have decision making.
+evandragonfire I'm thinking of getting Pokémon sun.
Phoenix Wright is for you
isn't that all of them
Like Fire Emblem Fates?
+Michael Ford More or less. Even just what weapon to use is a genuine choice.
Life is strange ending, each way i felt emotionally distraught and cheated.
Totally true
totally :(
I was about to say the same thing
i think the game was bad
tbh that was the easiest part. Obviously sacrificing Chloe would be the smartest choice.
the sadest game I have ever played is the walking dead
Ethan Oosthuizen yes it definitely
Ethan Oosthuizen yeah .. True
Wait until you play Spec Ops The Line
Alice Wasteland We got to meet Lee. So that was in my opinion the saddest part. Those two guys we didnt knew much about and Sarah died in the first 10 mins of the game
Pastel Witch Not even close. The Walking Dead beats The Last of Us in every sense of the word "Emotional"
What about "Life is Strange"? Save Chloe or Save the Town?
tru
I was gonna say it but I see someone already did.
Easy, save the Town
Uncharted 2?
Not a hard decision at all. Why would you let everyone die to save one person that should already be dead?
I don't care how many times he calls you to go bowling, bro's before ho's - save Roman over Kate any day of the week
The shitty part is that on my first playthrough, my game bugged out, so I lost both of them. :'(
+mk6rfc1 "Niko, Im very sorry to hear about kate but how about we mourn her after a game of bowling yes?"
+mk6rfc1 Yes! Roman all the way. Kate was whiny. Plus there are hookers and strippers all over the city. You only have one cousin!
+mk6rfc1 kate leaves you anyway if she lives
+The M7 Omega lol
Just when I was about to be disappointed that they had no Telltale games on the list
ikr
yeah they did number 1 the walking dead
I don't think these guys watched the whole video, I'm a bit dissapointed
Spec Ops: The Line. A game where having to deciding whether or not to blow your own brains out IS the final boss.
What about the Pokemon starter choice?
+Nathan Hetzer lee's fate is way harder
+Nathan Hetzer u cant choose in Yellow tho.
Should have been #4 at least
What about in Witcher 3 when you had to choose whether or not to kill the tree spirit? My memory is fuzzy, but I remember that if you kill the spirit, you save the children being held by the 3 wicked sisters, but doom the village and opposite if you spared the spirit.
yea, it also changes the bloody barron's outcome aswell
There's a ton of choices like that in the game but watchmojo videos don't mean shit anymore
I expected pokemon because whichever one you pick your opponent picks one with a type advantage
Yeah
Then how I win the battle with charmander.....skills
That bit with Clem actually made me cry and I practically never cry. On one hand, I wanted to make sure she was strong enough to make a hard decision like that before I left her, but on the other hand, she'd been through so much I didn't want to ask her to do something like that.
Infamous 1 & 2 were such good games
+Aron Dracula Oh yeah definitely better.
Can i buy it for ps4? HOW CAN I PLAY IT?!?!?
+Aron Dracula Delsin only had one game but his story can be better in the next one
+Aron Dracula I heard that Sucker Punch had gone out of business, not sure if it is true though.
+Aron Dracula I would buy that remaster, but that feels like all companies do now days, remaster old games.
Excuse me, what about Life is Strange? I'm still emotionally scarred from both endings
+MetallicaRules People do stupid things to those they love but Chloe Price is amazing in my opinion
I always HATED the fact your meant to kill Parthunax in Skyrim, I most of the time just ignore the quest.
Im pretty sure you can just tell the blades no and it says quest failed or something. Not sure havent played skyrim in like 9 months. Replaying now :)
you can't unfortunately there is a mod which does that (I use it) :) I recently started playing Skyrim again on legendary
Twothless Ohh really? what is the name of that mod, would be pretty nice to not have to kill parthunax and have a quest sitting there forever.
i think its called 'The Parthunax Dilemma' search it on Nexus Mod Manager
+Twothless you dont have to kill him. You can go and talk to him on the mountain one last time, where you can decide to fight him, or let him fly off with the other dragons. Returning to the blades has them more or less abandon you.
All you lose out on is the pretty pointless buff (extra dragon damage for 1-2 game days or something) and Blades that help you fight dragons, but the blades suck, and Parthunax is cool.
The Pitt in Fallout 3
Take the Baby or Leave it with her Family?
What about Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls??????
Of choosing which one to "play"?
LegendLeaguer No, of being in the top 10 list
omg yes
fire emblem awakening
Heavy Rain did pay attention on your decisions though.....
I clocked on this saying pls don't let Lees death from walking dead be on here and then you folks at watch mojo hit me right in the feels
Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :'(
I have to agree, after playing through all that just to die at the end... Just TellTale NEVER MAKE A GAME LIKE THAT AGAIN
+Shannanagens Elizabeth ;~;
+Infinity Pirates but thats how all their games are, your actions don't mean shit, nothing more then one piece of dialogue.
There's no way that the "Life is Strange" ending isn't first or second!!I was left emotionally distraught and unsatisfied no matter what decision...
Christopher Tovell no twd deserved first
It did
Same duh!
Dying Light: The Following at the end you loose either way (you nuke the whole city and die or are made to drink something that turns you into a monster)
What about Life is Strange?
Save Chloe or Arcadia bay?
Well, it's not on here because there is no wrong answer to that choice. It really depends on which you feel is right.
That's the point. Of this mojo video tho
+The Rush Fudge Always save Chloe! Bae over Bay!
I'm the only one who came for the video because it was infamous video game as the thumbnail photo
I did too lol
Nope, me too.
Never expect for anybody to reply lol
too bad
Me and i left cause it was watch mojo
Killing Menendez or killing Harper in COD Black Ops 2?
yes ! wth they didn't say that one !
+Buckeye Boy Ben I completely forgot that one. There were decisions up the wazzoo in that campaign. Like what, 8 different endings for small things like not saving Karma in that megamall, which results in one of your team not taking a bullet for her on the S.S.Obama (LOL).
The only thing worse than the COD series, is its own 'black OPS' sub series
I was thinking o that one too
*of
Mass Effect decision isn't that difficult... not hard to choose to save a more compassionate, higher-ranking biotic companion who'll be romanceable by BOTH Shepards... OR save an abrasive regular human who has an irritating chip on her shoulder towards aliens... in a game where you need to get along with aliens. If you're picking tough choices in Mass Effect, it'd be the decision of what to do about the Geth in ME2.
Eji You mean ME3 ? I dont remember a choice about geth in 2, might be wrong though.
I thought in ME2 there's the whole thing about what to do with the renegade geth, whether you destroy them or reprogram them?
Oh right, Legion loyalty mission. I forgot it even existed, probably because i dont see a choice at all :P. Just reprogram them. Also might be that it was just before the suicide mission which was a lot more memorable.
Eji nigga please. everybody saves Ashley. That bitch was fire lol
I mean yeah, she's on fire... because I exploded her.
... Also, no one I knew saved her because "bitchy space racist" lul
Cutting or keeping Lee's arm in TWD. He dies either way.
Nevermind, it's #1
You could delete the comment you know..
I almost cried seeing walking dead
NOOOO THAT HURTS
Thats what i was thinking
Infamous 2 where u either kill ur best friend and every non super powered person or u kill every super power person and urself
that's a fact
I nearly cried when Cole had to die
+Ryan Mecca
The "boss fight" with said friend has been branded in my memory as one of the hardest ever, despite being just three presses of the R1 button.
+Silven yeah it's like the logical and emotional part of your brain is at wars
+Silven it like actually hurt lol
You left one off of your list.
Jean Grey or Nightcrawler? -- Marvel Ultimate Alliance
You have to rescue one of them in Mephisto's Realm, in Act 2 of the game.
YES!!!
YES!!!
Ikr! Though I picked Nightcrawler because I like him better lol
+Charles Lee You get a like from me for simply mentioning MUA
+Charles Lee someone sexy or a bad@$$. Damn.
Skyrim u have to chose between killing a friendly dragon, or the blades. Kill a dragon who helps you, or kill a secret society of people who protected the king, and also helped you on your quest
Muticity 2003 rip pathunax
Until Dawn? That scene there results in exactly the same outcome no matter what you choose. Couldn't you have chosen something else for that game?
Like [SPOILERS!] whether to shoot Emily or not if she got bitten?
+Python_l Like whether to save josh or ashley
+Python_l I would say whether or not to get Hannah's diary, because people die either way, just not the main characters.
Giving Matt or Emily the Flare Gun. If Matt doesn't have it, there's a possibility of him dying. If Emily doesn't have it, she WILL get bit. Either way, one of them could get screwed over.
+Fandom Trash Yeah but she's fine if she gets bit tho
Ashley or Kaiden? Fuck no. Try Quarians or Geth.
Truth
Geth, anyday. The quarians are genocidal cunts.
+Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden Man, that was history. Geth worked with Saren, and the Reapers (although that was a lot more forced)
You couldn't make peace between those two? NOOB!
Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden explain how.
Your missing the biggest one, whether or not to shoot shootymcshoot face or not from borderlands 2
Easy. I would do it for the achievement.
Do you want ants? Because thats how you get ants.
+John Doe archer
Face Mcshooty was awesome! 😂
lol I always shoot
That decision in the Walking Dead broke my damn heart. I cried for so long after that.
Wtf where is Life is Strange??!?!??! >:0
IKR.
I know right!!!!!
i know!! the biggest mistake/wrong choice was the decision to play the game.
ok i cannot be the only one who shed a tear at the end of walking dead ... seriosly
+jxsan988 ikr
+jxsan988 Same here. Like a damned baby.
i had her shoot him so he wouldn't turn
+Benjamin Drake I cried at the Emd of Walking Dead Season one when I beat it. Granted I beat it like all in one setting, the the action of killing Lee just hours after finding out e is probably going to die from the bite. That was hard. That game was one of the hardest games of my life when it first came out and I played it. Love TWD
Worst game I've ever played
i killed Ashley, im not sorry, she disobeyed my order
Same here man.
+Jose Brito Saved Ashley pretty much every single time. Well, except once I guess.
+Jose Brito
wait, wasn't she blown up?
Yes, I know it's a choice and so on. But let's face it. Liara is official Bioware's waifu that get's the most screentime and is suited for any character and will like you almost no matter what and Kaidan is more usefull then Ashley in battle however since neither of them is used most of the time that's not the point. Ashley refusing to take part in threesome and talking sh//t into my face from ME1 is. Left hugging nuke.
Unless you think drunk Tali's suggestion in 3 actually happens somehow, lol.
+Jose Brito Not to mention her extreme racism of the aliens on the Normandy, constantly hating them, even when they save her and are always helpful.
Wicther 3 ?
The one with the bloody baron? Saving the children or saving his wife and alot of lives?
What is the game in 0:46?And I am the only one who thinks that the guy in 7:12 is like Matt Parkman from Heroes?(TV Series)
+Giannis Katopodis I think thats a clip from one of the endings of Far Cry 2, and yes, that's totally parkman lol
+immortalweapon Thank you!!!!LOL
Yes, that's Greg Grunberg, who actually voices the character.
I always hated having to make that decision :/
Eh, based on a comic universe. All characters eventually come back to life anyway. Death, to a X-Men character, is less a finite and tragic ending and more a way to pass the time.
I WAS GONNA SAY THIS!
I'd probably always pick Nightcrawler
The walking dead, the wolf among us, borderlands, and ect;
inFAMOUS
fallout
+DeathGamingXP Mass Effect
Skyrim
Pokemon Choosing starter
Some of the walking dead scenes are messed up
What about that moment in COD Black Ops 2 were you need to decide if to kill Herper or the antagonist (i don't remember his name)
Raul menendez?
Harper survived though, I think.
I tried to shoot menendez and then got killed. And yeah Harper survived for me
The non linear sequence for bo2 was such a good idea. They executed perfectly, 10/10 best campaign
You have to kill Harper and let Menendez live to get the best ending.
I haven't even played The Walking Dead, and that made me tear up.
+Salix Sepulcralis 10/10 should play it
I do plan to, or at least watch a playthrough. :3 But as long s it's on PC, it's on my list.
Favorite game I've ever played. It will always hold a little place in my heart.
+Salix Sepulcralis The Walking Dead is amazing and even though the walk through is good it won't be your choices so it won't be the same.
Paarthurnax or continue with the Blades quest line tho......jk, Delphine and Esbern can both stick it.
a dragon on your side or 2 stupid losers you pick
setstage MQPaarthurnax 100
+TheAnimeKing01 right
+TheAnimeKing01 weaboo
I really hate there was no way of cancelling that mission by either saying no or killing those asshole blades. It felt as if cannonically my character'd kill Paarthunax sooner or later.
Isn't the ending the Infamous 2 the most "fuck you player" moment of the series? Either help the beast slaughter millions and awaken people with powers or set off a bomb that kills you along with everyone else with powers or the potential to awaken powers.
Like the game basically forces you to either choose to be a monster or a martyr which is bullshit and either way a ton of innocent people die.
The ending ripped me apart either way. It was total bs
2 others can fit here. The ending of Life is Strange, and The Pitt DLC for Fallout 3.
Stupid choice, right?
I hated the institute from the beginning just like caeser's legion in new Vegas
My hatred for Caesar's legion is over 9000 though, however I love the lore behind it
Fallout in general is awesome with new Vegas being godly
The Brotherhood is trash in 4, Minutemen is the only way to go.
I let Kate die in GTA IV......Bros before Hoes!!!
+Al R I let Roman die because...... at least he can't call me anymore.
That's what's up!!! Bros before hoes!!!
+Waffle Demon I got a glitch in my second run through when I let him die. He still called me, but if I exepted to go pick him up no one would be at the spot where I was supposed to pick him up.
+Waffle Demon I only chose Roman to live because otherwise you can't have any more free cab rides
and to go bowling with Roman
why is no one talking about 1 night stand??😂😂
LMAO😂😂😂😂
OMG IKR
and emily is away
There's actually a third option in Infamous! I speedrun the game, and someone in our community found that if you shoot one of the doctors (you start closer to their building and not Trish's) with the Precision power after Kessler shuts up, it counts as an Evil karma decision and triggers the post-mission cutscene. It's obviously much faster than climbing either building, but doing it makes it appear that the developers intended for this possibility -- the cutscene is ever so slightly changed too.
Charmender? Squirtle!?
Who the hell cares about Bulbasaur, hahaha.
Exactly
+Bread-and-Butter I'd pick Bulbasaur any day. Charmander is overrated, Squirtle is alright.
Mass Effect 3; the Geth or the Quarians. For me, that really sucked because I loved both Tali and Legion.
...I'm pretty sure that I distinctly remember both groups surviving while having Legion still in my team...
Misting Wolf
Misting Wolf I killed the Geth. Fuck artificial intelligence.
salacity I saw that was an option but... I never had enough paragon points to do so xD I tend to linger between both Paragon and Renegade~
Fuck the end of Life is Strange
good way or bad way?
+Aidan G. (Gameplays and More) there is no good ending I guess
? guys who know the name of game in Picture display
please
+Dadh Ffhs In who's picture?
Dadh Ffhs do you mean the thumbnail cus thats infamous 2 the best ps3 exclusive and one of the best games ever
Choosing sabal or amita as the golden path leader. Far cry 4
Not a hard decision since the correct one is to SIN down, STAY there and ENJOY the Crab Rangoon.
Pagan Min is the real true choice when you go through every ending and find out what the Golden Path was really up to. He gives you the country and you run it as you see fit, both Amata and Sabal are killed and the Golden Path (who are terrible) is dissolved.
life is strange choosing between saving arcadia bay and Chloe price
My fave was the ending of Infamous 2. They had it so that if you activated the RFI you'd wipe out the radion and save everyone, but you'd kill every conduit on the planet...but if you didn't and took the side of the beast you'd spare them...but kill off the rest of humanity.
I played InFamous 1 and 2, in second one. bad ending is so sad... spoiler alert! Cole kills his "brother"
+Vallu Gamer yeah It was bullshit... but worth it! COLE HAVE THE POWER! ...of the beast and still alive
I absolutely LOVED both of the games, I always chose bad side...
Infamous 2 ended the franchise perfectly (don't you dare try and correct me), the ending was perfect, sacrifice yourself for the good of the world, in a sad ending were your best friend grieves for you, or fuck the world, I want to live (also the safer route of keeping humanity alive), but this is where the game fucks with you for choosing the evil ending, and you end up feeling like the biggest dickhead who ever walked the earth, especially if you are doing a second play through after the one where you were a saint, you kill your best friend, how it is done is perfect, after rampaging through the entire city killing all who try and stand in you way with ease, you reach you destination, the place you are going to end it all. then out walks your buddy zeke, holding his favourite gun, he looks at you as you look at him and you both know he stands no chance, he shrugs and says "I have to try..." then he shoots at you, slowly not wanting to hurt you, and then the game auto aims at him, and tells you to kill him. because if everything building up to this moment I fire singular slow shots at him not wanting to kill him, each one making him violently spasm and fall to the ground, seeing his skeleton flash through as the electricity courses through his veins, then slowly he gets up and it the cycle starts again... this is how you do a consequences in a game people, I know the system as a whole was bad but sucker punch perfected the ending without a doubt
but then the ice person dies, i haven't played the game in a long time if you choose the good ending
How do you make a list about this without The Witcher III on it at all...? Seriously, the game is the greatest representation of uncertain decision making in games.
Clementine having to kill Lee was one of the most emotionally powerful scenes in a video game I've ever seen! Kudos to Telltale Games for that one 👍🏾!
life is strange let your best friend die or let a whole town die
Where is infamous 2? ;--; I chose to kill nix and zeke I fuckin' cried ;c
Especially because no matter what you choose, your decision will kill many people. There's no way to save everyone.
I cried and couldn't free roam for like a week
I hated Kuo, she was annoying when you progressed further.
i kinda hated her from the beginning, i always will be friends with Zeke and nix.
I hated her at the end with the beast
Hell fucking yes. But... worth it! in that evil ending Cole got new fucking powers and he is still alive... unlike ESCONDE FUCKING SON! Where is Cole? oh yeah... HES DEAD!! Such a shame
What about hosido, nohr, or revelations (I will not spoil the kingdom name from revelations)? I agree with lee being number one though
Revelations all the way
Ehhh, Nohr for sweet gameplay, Hoshido for starting out/Japanese inspired classes, Revelations for a happy ending.
I shot lee cause I was worried I'd see him in the following games and either way I'd have to kill him
Fallout 3- The Pitt, Tenpenny Tower Quest
Mass Effect- Battle of the Citadel, Falling Skies
Mass Effect 2- Legion's Loyalty Mission, Zaeed's Loyalty Mission
Mass Effect 3- Battle of Rannoch, Curing the Genophage, Rachni Mission, The Ending
Call of Duty Black Opts 2- Menedez's Fate
Infamous 2- The Ending
Fallout: New Vegas- Lonesome Road, Dead Money, Honest Hearts
Infamous 2 had a way better ending than Infamous 1.
GH0ST_ true Cole good had a hero's death and evil Cole becomes the beast himself
And second son ending was meh
Someone's been watching OutsideXbox.
Lee's death made me cry
me too, it broke my heart. my sisters laughed at me cuz I was crying over a game
I teared a little watching the watch mojo because I still am not over Lee and Clementine
If you don't cry over those games tho you're heartless
DMC... Devil Made u Cry
*You'll always be my dearest friend.*
*I love you.*
Ten video game decisions you'll get wrong either way.
hardest decision in my life : Go to shool or na
Be educated and bored with others or stay home and be bored since all your friends are at school.
stay home
+Kaila Perez I think going to English class would be beneficial.
+Casey J Maybe a couple... of a hundred.
+Casey J Maybe a couple... of a hundred.
I hope Charmander Bulbasaur and Squirtle is on here
+Jai Morjaria lol
well sorry
To be fair, that's less "every option sucks" and more "each option is so good it's tempting", so it's kind of the opposite of this list.
in fallout new Vegas why can't you reroute the power so the people escape then fix the radiation?
ikr?
because video games' logic don't work that way as it seems :l
What about Dying Light The Following where you have to choose how the story ends?
Exactly what I was thinking.
plz they've never mentioned dying light before...
+epic games yeah. but you can still play around in countryside when you're done.
El Potater still the ending is not too good, its like do you choose to die or die
+Deric Santiago
Oh shit I haven;t beaten that yet sounds serious
Infamous series,Second Son,etc.?
Dude Infamous 2, The end where you side with John/The Beast made me want to cry and I don't remember the last time I cried but it came close to making me cry, I did not want to kill Zeke.
Crimson and Sapphire Second Son has choices that affect nothing but a few lines of dialogue.
Shouldn't make this list.

toughest decision of my life, are you a boy or are you a girl?
naw son. characters name is.
+Aaronspark7 If only that was a real choice we could have in our lives
And Then Another decision making.... Naming and our rival name. Also Pick only one pokemon starter.
denzel padilla Gary Fucking Oak is the only option for rival name
I thought it was Fartass or buttsex?
Gary fucking Oak Is his Real/Original Name
Pfft most of these aren't as emotional as the final choice in Life is Strange
Yup
You can still see your dog at the 'Trip Down Memory Lane' demon door (the one where you do the dog tricks).
