Wonderful production, you should all be very proud!
just saw it last night - absolutely absolutely absolutely wonderful. it's been a dream i thought would never come true to get to see the lord of the rings musical and to see THIS VERSION with its incredibly skilled performers and beautiful direction was just. i was sobbing lol. i had the most wonderful time and the watermill is such an absolutely GORGEOUS place and perfect for such a production to take place. i came all the way from manchester and it was so so well worth it.
What seats did you go for? Looking to book tonight.
Sending you support from across the pond.
This looks absolutely lovely, I wish I lived close enough to go!
I'm so happy it's getting recognition! 😊
Quite jealous I'll not get to see this at all. Saw the original West End production and the original cast recording is one of my favourites.
You should really really really film it!! People will pay good money for even a dvd of this
I would! I'm in the US and this sounds like an AMAZING version of this show (better than the original for me because I love immersive theater). Or take it on tour to small theaters in the US that could use a boost. I could see some Shakespeare festivals as having great indoor/outdoor locations they could use to make this work! OSF comes to mind because I'm in the PNW.
Gosh, I wish so badly I could come see this, it sounds so incredible, but unfortunately I live in a different country and don't have the money to travel internationally for this, so it's not going to happen (although I know some people from other countries who really are planning to travel all the way there to see this!)
Anyway, I wish you all the best with the production!
