I completely agree with you regarding getting sleep on a Disney cruise...our first Disney cruise was in September 2021 on the Dream(Loved it) and we, unfortunately woke up super early everyday to try and do the most activities since it was a 3 day cruise and were EXHAUSTED after dinner each day! Our second cruise was on the Wish August 2023 and we woke up whenever and felt like we got more done since we got to stay up later.
I (Chris) thought the same way on our first cruise in October 21! I wanted to get up early see the sunrise and do everything. But didn’t go over too well with everyone else 😂 that’s definitely changed after we’ve done a number of cruises. Sleeping in is great. And I’m not a big fan of “rope drop culture”, where you feel like you have to be the first in line to do everything. That would make vacation feel more like a job!
Watching all the LeggLife viewer cruise vlogs has made me so homesick for DCL. Thank you for letting us come along with you. Our tween at the time wanted to be with us and not venture to the club. I loved every second of it. 💕

I know this is several years late but can you elaborate on the age restrictions with Cabo? It seems odd that Disney would go to a port with such a high age limit.
No age restrictions… this video was made during the return from c*vid. Our youngest wasn’t eligible for the vax at the time, so she couldn’t get off the ship at Cabo because of that (Mexico’s rule at that time I think). Hasn’t been an issue for a few years now 👍😊

Lyndsey - I knew we were related!!!! I like flavorful, spiced food but if it is fiery hot then it is nit enjoyable to eat. At an Indian restaurant near where I used to work they had a yellow curry that I loved; both the green & red curries were way too hot 🔥 for me!
I noticed you guys had lanyards. Did they give you those on the ship or did you buy them ahead of your trip? I read that only returning cruisers get them because you aren't considered a member of Cast Away club until your 2nd trip. Just wondering if we should take some on our first cruise. I also Loved Lindsay's curry review because I would never have tried that dish bc I also don't like anything hot/spicy and I also like the other flavors of curry. I make it at home, but every restaurant curry I have seen has been hot/spicy. Now I may try it if it is on my sailing.
We knew we weren’t going to get lanyards because we weren’t castaway club members yet when we boarded. We had a few from previous Disney trips, and we got a few more either on Etsy or eBay. You can buy them on the ship as well, but you’ll pay a premium for that. We were able to save some money getting them on those websites!
Yeah - we’re really glad she said that about the curry. We all love curry, but Lyndsey can’t usually eat it because it’s usually a bit too spicy for her. Super glad that was helpful for you to find out!!

On the Dream in 2019, they had Blueberry & Mango soft serve and that was far the best flavor combination of the trip!

Unfortunately we all got a crash course that’s it’s pronounced ’keev’ and not ‘Kyiv’. Wifey was right.

I call it the crew curry! The crew canteen serves the best curries every day! If it wasn't good, there'd be a mutiny LOL!
