There are at least two apps that I know of with one being just for Los Angeles (I think it's called LAQuake or something like that) and there's one for all of California called MyShake, which is the one I have and it sent a warning, although I didn't feel the earthquake.

I mean scientists already did a study and found that the lack of flood waters were making earthquakes less frequent due to the drought. So a major flood is happening. It's kind of to be expected. Don't need invisible sky pervert's imaginary insight to see what's happening. We go with facts and rational thinking over fear and superstition. I mean the south has been getting devastated by storms like tornadoes and hurricanes forever. Yet those are heavy god worshipping areas. Is god not telling them something? Florida had a severe flood, a breakout of a deadly thought to be extinct disease, deadly sea foam, brain eating amoebas.....all happening at once. What's your God telling them?

MyShake is the app I have that gave me a warning but I was too far away to feel it. A few people near me felt it and it never hurts to have a little earthquake drill anyway.

At around 100 miles away, I got the warning, took cover, but didn't feel it. I was a little bummed out but at least the early warning worked.

I was on the top floor of the hotel in Lynwood CA. I felt it, I took a couple things and I came down to the lobby. I’m still here watching videos on RUclips.

If you have storm and earth quake as same time. There is high chance you have very big underground lake right under your feet. When fill up the lake will baloon up expand soil upper make a crack which mean earth quake.

Felt it here in the Hyde Park area of LA. Nice, gentle swaying motion, MY kind of quake (lol)! Pretty sure tropical storm Hilary had something to do with this one, first time in over 80 years since a storm came up from the south to dump this much water over the SoCal area. Wonder how much the Salton Sea has grown in the meantime, hmm...

ya it was lovely, im smack dab in the middle of the epicenter.... one minute we sitting there watching tv prepping lunch, next thing we know the ground is shaking so violently we are literally bouncing up and down, plus we had the oven on so that had to get turned off, and we waited for 1 minute in the halls of our house... away from glass, shelves and such... what a week this has turned out to be.. first hurricane ever and a 5.1 mag earthquake right under my feet.

That's funny! We were all worried about how strong the hurricane would be but only got a little startled by the earthquake early warning alarm since we're all used to earthquakes. Sadly, we didn't actually feel it here but, to be fair, the hurricane also only really amounted to a big rain storm too. Now I can see why people in Florida don't get the hell out of there when a hurricane is coming because if it weakens like this, it's just a big rain storm.

I got the warning, took cover, and felt nothing but thee's nothing wrong with a warning with no shaking because it amounts to an earthquake drill. Sure woke me up from the nap I was taking, which is also good. Our chandelier was swaying slightly though. Better to be able to take cover before the shaking than to scramble for cover in the middle of an earthquake.
