I work in a thrift store in Oregon and see Madewell all the time! We also get Miss Me, Free People, J Crew, White House Black Market (A LOT of that!!), Chicos the list goes on. And I got some really good Madewell jeans that I LOVE and wear almost everyday for about 7.49 each. And you should SO keep that red shirt it looks ADORABLE on you!
When I seen the title and it said Madewell I had to see it. Years ago I worked for the original company that was called Madewell. It was bought out by J. Crew and rebranded. We made just jeans, jean skirt, and bib shorts, also what we call capenter pants. We were In New Bedford Mass. USA. It was a great place to work. I was young and never like jeans but when I tryed a pair on I was hooked...lol You looked great in the red top.
Just a tip, when thrifting, size doesnt matter so much. You can alter something too big, or belt it off. If its slightly small its okay because it's so inexpensive.
I agree with everyone in the comments 😂 it may not be your style/vibrancy of your everyday vibe, but that red/orange shirt would look so cute with like a mid length floral skirt or for a more casual look with some high waisted jeans!!! Maybe even jeans with some floral embroidery if you have some like that!
Listen to me - that red shirt looked freaking cute on you! You have to keep it! Do it! Do it now! Try that red shirt buttoned except for the top 1 or 2 buttons with tight jeans and put your hair up in a high pony or high bun with wisps coming down in the front and a deep red lip. Please just do it and show us on here or instagram. Mac's Russian Red would be gorgeous on you! If you don't normally wear red then def get a lip pencil and a cheap lip brush and use the pencil and then def use the lip brush to put it on. It would look SO gorgeous on you. Trust me on this. I'll send you the lipstick myself if you'll agree to give it a try...
You can find what year the shirt was made by a little tag. Usually placed towards the bottom of the shirt in one of the side seams. Probably attached to the care label. On my sweater my tag says Q1/19. Also the red/ orange shirt looked good on you. So did the black peplum style one. If you did keep it you could take in the sides with your sewing machine.
Someone might have mentioned this below, but you can check the long white tag inside- it will tell you the season and year of the item. That is, if someone didn’t cut it out. 😂.
I went to my favorite thrift store on Sunday and purchased my first madewell piece! I got high waisted denim shorts! They were $14 dollars, so a little pricey for a thrift store but still a deal!
That coffee shop looked nice and your drink looked yummy! I love Free People! The black peplum top is cute on you! Also cute: star button up top, sweater
You should do a thrifting challenge with brooke where you both have a budget to buy each other an outfit! We did it with our young marrieds group at my church and there were some pretty funny outfits that came out of it!
You can always find tons of J.Crew at the thrift store. I'm not totally sure why, but I've gotten lots at the thrift store of the years. (If I'm being honest, I feel like they have Madewell prices with Forever 21 quality, but that might just be my unpopular opinion.) And if you want to know what year clothes are made, a lot of times there's a little tag on the side of the garment (sewn in where the care tags a lot of times are if they're not at the top) that'll tell you what quarter of the year and the year the garments are made -- Q1/19 for example meaning it was part of the winter 2019 collection
You know Goodwill don't wash the clothes. You have no idea where they come from. Please wash them before putting them on. I wear gloves in the thrift stores. Awesome finds.
I went to skip the adds and I was like NOPE. This is to help get Michel to not have to waitress anymore.
Abigail Roxby my actual hero 😭🥰
Same! :-)
Wait what happens if you skip the ads?

I would love to see you thrift at "It's a Wrap" in Burbank. The left over cloths from TV, Videos and Movies. I have found cool stuff there at times.
I never heard of this brand until I started watching your videos. Love the shirt with stars.

Someone might have mentioned this below, but you can check the long white tag inside- it will tell you the season and year of the item. That is, if someone didn’t cut it out. 😂.
I think the red blouse was the best blouse on you but I know the challenge was finding that brand. Awesome haul!
I do the same thing with selling items from my thrifting videos on Poshmark! It’s a great way to get lots of content but not be wasteful!

Watching this video when I should be folding laundry 🙃

Such great finds! Wish I can find madewell clothes when thrifting.
I live in rural NC. I have only thrifted three Madewell pieces ever, in like 10 years of thrifting! You live in a great area for these kinds of finds.
Love the shorts! Where are they from?
OMG!! I have never found Madewell in my goodwill..lol
I went to my favorite thrift store on Sunday and purchased my first madewell piece! I got high waisted denim shorts! They were $14 dollars, so a little pricey for a thrift store but still a deal!
