Hello, I cannot tell if I am just being stupid, however my Directional Blur layer that should be trkmat to the fractal noise layer, it shows no whip icon and cannot be linked. any idea why this might be? I am using the 2019 version!
Not stupid! There was a recent update that upgraded the track matting process, can highly recommend updating your After Effects to the most recent version to take advantage of it.

Thank you! I sourced the Faceless Void image sequence from the Dota 2 website, and while I can't share that file, I have included a placeholder in the template on Gumroad from Part 02.
can i ask question? so when i tried to put my image on composition like you did (faceless void) why my image affected by toner d.blur etc. and you don't. sorry for my bad english and i'm still learning after effect. thank you !
Not a worry! My image is actually affected by all those effects, but I must have gotten lucky with the Random Seed of that original Fractal Noise. You can change that to suit your background and make sure it's clear where you want it to be.
probably a good video but you aren't designing branding... you are designing a motion graphic for a brand two very different things, you cannot "design branding" in after effects

How you added color palette on the side of after effects?
That is the plugin Labels using the Material theme! It does more than just be pretty, but that's what I use it most for haha
