With used BMW it's common to have oil leaks. I would recommend getting an engine gasket kit. Also if you plan on working on the engine yourself you will need a new set of tools.

best careful with those bmws. They leak oil from the turbo seals, rear main seal and maybe oil pan because the pan is made of aluminum but the setup for those are going the single turbo route for you guys. You can get some cool noise out that think.
