nah i played this in the old MoC and ignored trotters to not add extra debuffs and its still consistent enough. Ruan mei has at most 1 turn of downtime and there are a bunch of other conditional debuffs like aventurine ult, break debuffs, or ratio's debuffs that keeps the chance at 100% for most of the time. Not to mention 80% is very high. This is a case where theory doesnt match up to reality.
I still think that Topaz's LC is still valuable to get if you love playing this team, which is why I pulled for it myself. It makes it comfier but, its not really needed for the team to function.

Good Showcase! I realize now I have to try and max my Traces. Some of mine are at 7/8. They probably contribute a lot more to damage than I believe. Also a good run without S1 with a 1 cycle is impressive.

Probably everything. He's the best sustainer for FUA's Teams but after all, he's still a sustain, can be used in whatever team you chose. And no, i run my Topaz E0S0 with my Ratio E0S0 and works perfectly well. This team can guarantee 3 debuffs for Ratio 1. Topaz's mark, 2. Aventurine's Ult and 3. Ratio's Skill. Now I can assure you, if you're new in this game, please, pull for Robin and Ruan Mei, even if E0S0. These two will make your game a lot easier.
There's no other good alternative in the game right now. Silver Wolf works but shes a big downgrade to Robin or Ruan Mei. If you have Topaz's LC then I recommend Robin.
It would be a lot weaker but Asta could work. She gives team wide attack and speed buffs + one of her traces increases the fire dmg of her teammates. The biggest loss would be that she doesn’t buff Aventurine.

Having already Ruan Mei make the increase that you get by having Robin less noticeable, especially that Topaz is the Cornerstone of this team and going for E1 or S1 on her before Robin is also a very good way to improve the consistency and value of the team and topaz’s slot
pela does better and she is a four star. Not worth it to pull e0 s0 topaz she is so awkward to used since she is bound to fua team alone. People said she would be fua equivalent of kafka but she is not even a sampo for dot. Aventurine is doing better dmg than her lol.
Unfortunately, no. Ratio wouldn't have 100% chance *consistently* without the help of moc turbulence debuff. Both aventurine and Ruan couldn't even maintain 100% uptime on their debuff either. Even if you use trend lc on aventurine, he'd need a lot of effect hit rate to apply it consistently, and with trend+effect hit rate, his almost-non-existent f2p dmg would plummet even more, it'd be a massive cope. And I wouldn't call topaz using signature as "f2p". Of course f2p can get the light cone, but in general, when people see "f2p" is almost always under the assumption of using non signature lightcone. In other words, it's misleading, especially when you didn't even mentioned the moc turbulence. For F2p, Hypercarry Ratio or even hypercarry topaz is still significantly superior, not only it's much more resources efficient to build, but it's also has the same, if not more dmg.
Topaz used Swordplay in the video. Can you post your own clears of Ratio Hypercarry and Topaz Hypercarry that is 1 cycle or 0 cycle to prove your claims?
Ruan Mei is the best when you're not using any signature light cones on the team, hence "F2P" and need the extra debuff from Ruan Mei. Robin is BiS when you have signature light cones.

The thing with f2p is the hunt LCs 🫠 plus the FUA relic has been the shittiest relics i have ever farmed, literally worst luck on them -_- But I'll try and make adjustments and build ratio when i can.. already got topaz during her first banner by mistake might as well just properly built her, also i noticed you're using Atk orb instead of element are they better or is it a case of having better substats?
@@Kam1_9Speed boots are waste of damage for Ratio and Topaz unless you are using Robin for effective 200 speed, because Ruan Mei allows you to have all the speed you need even using attack boots. How much speed you need IS relative to How fast you can clear. Over 150 Av(0c) 134 gives a extra turn, but over 350 you need 144 to have a extra turn compared to 114. Talking about normal 4-5c clears(on each node), 114 Speed is the best breakpoint since It allows you to have 4 turns over 350 Av(2c per wave), over 350 AV 134 and 114 have the same turns, and a 4c clear is 350 AV per wave. If you are aiming for 2C clears you should build up to 121 speed because It allows you to have 3 turns over 250 AV, compared to the 2 turns for 114 at 250AV. If you are going for 0c then you might wanna Build 134, but there até many Speed buffers in the game, so you only Build effective 134 and not actual 134 (like having 124 speed with RM boosting you to 134, having base Speed with Tingyun using DDD+4pc hackerspace and using her E1 correctly, or Just 117 Speed with DDD Tingyun so you dont need Hackerspace and neither her E1)

you need topaz's signature light cone if you want to use robin. With robin, you want elemental orbs instead.
I use the exact team as u love it so far the team is disgusting in elation on conundrum 12 u can basically never give enemies a turn because of it

You can, but the damage will be a lot worse since the uptime of Silver Wolf's ult is very low when you're killing things very fast.

Aventurine is the BIS sustain in the FUA temas, but you can place any other sustain if you don't have him
Gallagher or gep on trend would be best since they can apply debuffs. March can too but she can struggle to solo sustain

The atk% orbs are there since Ruan mei already buffs a lot of dmg%, so atk would be better especially since topaz and ratio are both on spd boots
