    I think it's awesome. I wanna do this. So far I've made 2 knives. One by stock removal out of an old chainsaw bar and the other i forged a crescent wrench. But this i wanna to soon. What did you quench in?

      Very cool, yes give it a shot! I use Parks 50 Quench Oil. 👍

      @@HensleyHandmadeKnives i appreciate your reply. I didn't know if that steel might need a water quench...didn't look like water. Just wanted to make sure. Do you think like a 10 weight oil would work?

      No, stay away from heat treating in motor oil. It’s too thick, doesent cool steel fast enough and is toxic
