Have you ever seen a LoopingArtist live? I’ve been an Looping Artist since 1998, I guess I was the first guy to bring Looping to Chicago at that time. There’s some pretty good looking artists I could turn you on to, if you’re curious.
Is he still using this small set up? I play music full-time for a living as a looping artist, introduced Looping to Chicago in 1998, and I’ve never seen him play because I’m always booked to play a show. Interestingly enough, I was just offered an opening spot at a 2500 seat venue in Madison Wisconsin this past October 22, but I declined because they said I had to be vaccinated to go on stage.
I find it interesting that there are guys like this who can obviously make a living and get people out to see him play when there is supposedly no market for music like this. For anybody complaining that 'he can't play for shit' why aren't you out touring or at least making a living from music if you're so good? The answer is you may have all the technique in the world but you can't write a goddam song to save your lives. Making the All-Bedroom guitar squad is not the same as being a musician.
im not an acoustic guy but... Taylor > Martin I seen a taylor roadshow and they have sweet custom shop guitars plus they gave me a free t shirt. At the martin one, i got a panflet that was it.
PERSONALLY I BLOODY HATE LOOPING WITH A PASSION.......(notice I said personally) so this video has started awful bad for me.....seem's like a nice guy though...!!!
Nothing wrong with sharing a personal opinion Buddy.....yes...a horse is a living breathing, intelligent, beautiful thing.....a car is cold, machanical, without feeling....Just like music I guess....Give me a horse anyday...
First, when did he claim to be anything other than simply a musician? Second, the way he uses looping and other things in his setup is unique in many ways.
I admire and respect anybody who does something like this for a living, whether I dig the style or not.

Keller is about a 4th generation looper.
Sounds like when I'm on hold to pay a credit card bill
"Impeach Bush" inlay... Keepin' it classy, keller.
never seen this guy before, very interesting stuff he's doing.
I could get lost for days with a setup like that...nice
Keller is one of the pioneers in the looping field concerning live performance. It ain't a gimmick if you paved the way for all the copycats.
So much hate in the comments. Keller is great live. Go to one of his shows and try not to enjoy yourself.
Keller is great
nice
Have you ever heard Jarle Bernhoft?
yeah that's the best way to pick out a guitar for sure
Who's MIke Ness?

May i ask why?

He's "rockin' the d.j. formula"!!
Go to 19:30 for an amazing solo!

Every little bit helps lol
Was given a guitar and didn't play it for four years?
Keller who??
I wonder if he is still mad at us? LOL!
Hip is , as hip does.
You would have been on your horse, YELLING at all the cars going past you, a hundred years ago.
Haha what would Mike Ness think of this?
he sounds like he's got crazy cottonmouth
All I can say is Doobie in My Pocket...
im not an acoustic guy but...

Just call him a musician.
I've often wondered what music sounds like to someone whose head is lodged in their own colon. Thanks for letting me know.
No pioneer there. Phil Keaggy has been looping since the '70's. The 1970's.
First, when did he claim to be anything other than simply a musician? Second, the way he uses looping and other things in his setup is unique in many ways.
lol, yep it's crap.
Impeach Bush? Seriously?
